| CVE-2026-52811 | 2026-06-26 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Gogs is an open source self-hosted Git service. Prior to 0.14.3, (*Repository).UploadRepoFiles checks for symlinks only on the leaf of the upload target (osx.IsSymlink(targetPath)). The siblings UpdateRepoFile, DeleteRepoFile, and GetDiffPreview use hasSymlinkInPath, which lstats every component — UploadRepoFiles is the lone outlier. An attacker with repo-write access plus a multipart upload whose filename contains a literal backslash (preserved by filepath.Base on Linux, then converted to / by pathx.Clean) redirects the write through a previously-committed directory symlink. iox.CopyFile opens the destination with os.Create (no O_NOFOLLOW), so the kernel follows the parent symlink and writes attacker bytes anywhere the gogs UID can write — ~git/.ssh/authorized_keys → SSH foothold, or <repo>.git/hooks/post-receive → next-push RCE. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.14.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55667 | 2026-06-26 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH | ||
| File Browser is a file managing interface for uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing files within a specified directory. Prior to 2.63.16, a scoped, non-admin File Browser user holding only the Create permission can delete arbitrary files outside their scope (other tenants' data, and the application's own database) via the upload failure-cleanup path. ScopedFs.RemoveAll is the one dereferencing operation that skips the symlink guard every other method enforces. The direct-upload handler runs RemoveAll on the user-controlled path during failed-upload cleanup, gated only by Perm.Create. If an escaping directory symlink already exists inside the user's scope, an authenticated create-only user can delete an out-of-scope target, bypassing both the ScopedFs boundary and the Perm.Delete gate. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.63.16. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54094 | 2026-06-25 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| File Browser is a file managing interface for uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing files within a specified directory. Prior to 2.63.14, it does not stop the HTTP file handlers from following symbolic links before they open, serve, write, share, or list a file. As a result, a scoped user — and in some cases an unauthenticated public-share recipient — can cross the intended scope boundary by following a symlink whose path is lexically inside their scope but whose target is outside it. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.63.14. | |||||
| CVE-2026-47277 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Runtipi is a personal homeserver orchestrator. In versions 4.9.1 through 4.9.3, Runtipi serves marketplace app logos from files inside cloned app-store repositories through an unauthenticated endpoint, which leads to arbitrary file read through app-store logo symlinks. The path guard checks only the lexical path before Node reads the file, so a Git app store that contains metadata/logo.jpg as a symbolic link can cause Runtipi to read and return the symlink target. Because the endpoint is public and the symlink target may point outside the cloned repository, this can expose local files from the Runtipi container such as /data/.env, /data/state/seed, logs, or application files. This can disclose JWT secrets, service credentials, local configuration, and operational logs depending on the instance. The issue has been fixed in version 4.10.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-7397 | 2026-06-17 | 3.2 LOW | 4.4 MEDIUM | ||
| A security flaw has been discovered in NousResearch hermes-agent 0.8.0. This affects the function _check_sensitive_path of the file tools/file_tools.py. The manipulation results in symlink following. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 0.9.0 is able to mitigate this issue. The patch is identified as 311dac197145e19e07df68feba2cd55d896a3cd1. Upgrading the affected component is recommended. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53476 | 1 Kubev2v | 1 Assisted Migration Agent | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.6 CRITICAL |
| A flaw was found in assisted-migration-agent. An unauthenticated attacker, located on the same local area network (LAN), can exploit a path traversal vulnerability. By crafting a specially designed gzipped tarball, the attacker can bypass security checks and write arbitrary files to the system. This could ultimately lead to the execution of unauthorized code on the appliance. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44340 | 1 Praison | 1 Praisonai | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to version 4.6.37, the _safe_extractall helper that all recipe pull, recipe publish, and recipe unpack flows route through validates each archive member's name for absolute paths, .. segments, and resolved-path escape — but does not validate member.linkname, does not reject symlink/hardlink members, and calls tar.extractall(dest_dir) without filter="data". A bundle that contains a symlink with a name inside dest_dir but a linkname pointing outside it, followed by a regular file whose path traverses through the just-created symlink, escapes dest_dir and lets the attacker write arbitrary content to an attacker-chosen location on the victim's filesystem. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.37. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41397 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains a sandbox escape vulnerability allowing attackers to traverse directory boundaries through symlink exploitation during file synchronization operations. Remote attackers can bypass sandbox restrictions by crafting malicious symlinks in mirror sync operations to access arbitrary files outside intended boundaries. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41231 | 1 Froxlor | 1 Froxlor | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Froxlor is open source server administration software. Prior to version 2.3.6, `DataDump.add()` constructs the export destination path from user-supplied input without passing the `$fixed_homedir` parameter to `FileDir::makeCorrectDir()`, bypassing the symlink validation that was added to all other customer-facing path operations (likely as the fix for CVE-2023-6069). When the ExportCron runs as root, it executes `chown -R` on the resolved symlink target, allowing a customer to take ownership of arbitrary directories on the system. Version 2.3.6 contains an updated fix. | |||||
| CVE-2026-39819 | 1 Golang | 1 Go | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| The "go bug" command writes to two files with predictable names in the system temporary directory (for example, "/tmp"). An attacker with access to the temporary directory can create a symlink in one of these names, causing "go bug" to overwrite the target of the symlink. | |||||
| CVE-2026-34604 | 1 Ssw | 1 Tinacms\/graphql | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to version 2.2.2, @tinacms/graphql uses string-based path containment checks in FilesystemBridge. That blocks plain ../ traversal, but it does not resolve symlink or junction targets. If a symlink/junction already exists under the allowed content root, a path like content/posts/pivot/owned.md is still considered "inside" the base even though the real filesystem target can be outside it. As a result, FilesystemBridge.get(), put(), delete(), and glob() can operate on files outside the intended root. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-34603 | 1 Ssw | 1 Tinacms\/cli | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| Tina is a headless content management system. Prior to version 2.2.2, @tinacms/cli recently added lexical path-traversal checks to the dev media routes, but the implementation still validates only the path string and does not resolve symlink or junction targets. If a link already exists under the media root, Tina accepts a path like pivot/written-from-media.txt as "inside" the media directory and then performs real filesystem operations through that link target. This allows out-of-root media listing and write access, and the same root cause also affects delete. This issue has been patched in version 2.2.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-32054 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.25 contain a symlink traversal vulnerability in browser trace and download output path handling that allows local attackers to escape the managed temp root directory. An attacker with local access can create symlinks to route file writes outside the intended temp directory, enabling arbitrary file overwrite on the affected system. | |||||
| CVE-2026-32024 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.22 contain a symlink traversal vulnerability in avatar handling that allows attackers to read arbitrary files outside the configured workspace boundary. Remote attackers can exploit this by requesting avatar resources through gateway surfaces to disclose local files accessible to the OpenClaw process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-32020 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
| OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.22 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the static file handler that follows symbolic links, allowing out-of-root file reads. Attackers can place symlinks under the Control UI root directory to bypass directory confinement checks and read arbitrary files outside the intended root. | |||||
| CVE-2026-32013 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.25 contain a symlink traversal vulnerability in the agents.files.get and agents.files.set methods that allows reading and writing files outside the agent workspace. Attackers can exploit symlinked allowlisted files to access arbitrary host files within gateway process permissions, potentially enabling code execution through file overwrite attacks. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31990 | 1 Openclaw | 1 Openclaw | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.1 MEDIUM |
| OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.3.2 contain a vulnerability in the stageSandboxMedia function in which it fails to validate destination symlinks during media staging, allowing writes to follow symlinks outside the sandbox workspace. Attackers can exploit this by placing symlinks in the media/inbound directory to overwrite arbitrary files on the host system outside sandbox boundaries. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31979 | 1 Himmelblau-idm | 1 Himmelblau | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| Himmelblau is an interoperability suite for Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Intune. Prior to 3.1.0 and 2.3.8, the himmelblaud-tasks daemon, running as root, writes Kerberos cache files under /tmp/krb5cc_<uid> without symlink protections. Since commit 87a51ee, PrivateTmp is explicitly removed from the tasks daemon's systemd hardening, exposing it to the host /tmp. A local user can exploit this via symlink attacks to chown or overwrite arbitrary files, achieving local privilege escalation. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0 and 2.3.8. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31894 | 1 Wegia | 1 Wegia | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. In 3.6.5, The patched loadBackupDB() extracts tar.gz archives to a temporary directory using PHP's PharData class, then uses glob() and file_get_contents() to read SQL files from the extracted contents. Neither the extraction nor the file reading validates whether archive members are symbolic links. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.6.6. | |||||
| CVE-2026-2808 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM | ||
| HashiCorp Consul and Consul Enterprise 1.18.20 up to 1.21.10 and 1.22.4 are vulnerable to arbitrary file read when configured with Kubernetes authentication. This vulnerability, CVE-2026-2808, is fixed in Consul 1.18.21, 1.21.11 and 1.22.5. | |||||
