| CVE-2026-23439 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udp_tunnel: fix NULL deref caused by udp_sock_create6 when CONFIG_IPV6=n When CONFIG_IPV6 is disabled, the udp_sock_create6() function returns 0 (success) without actually creating a socket. Callers such as fou_create() then proceed to dereference the uninitialized socket pointer, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference. The captured NULL deref crash: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000018 RIP: 0010:fou_nl_add_doit (net/ipv4/fou_core.c:590 net/ipv4/fou_core.c:764) [...] Call Trace: <TASK> genl_family_rcv_msg_doit.constprop.0 (net/netlink/genetlink.c:1114) genl_rcv_msg (net/netlink/genetlink.c:1194 net/netlink/genetlink.c:1209) [...] netlink_rcv_skb (net/netlink/af_netlink.c:2550) genl_rcv (net/netlink/genetlink.c:1219) netlink_unicast (net/netlink/af_netlink.c:1319 net/netlink/af_netlink.c:1344) netlink_sendmsg (net/netlink/af_netlink.c:1894) __sock_sendmsg (net/socket.c:727 (discriminator 1) net/socket.c:742 (discriminator 1)) __sys_sendto (./include/linux/file.h:62 (discriminator 1) ./include/linux/file.h:83 (discriminator 1) net/socket.c:2183 (discriminator 1)) __x64_sys_sendto (net/socket.c:2213 (discriminator 1) net/socket.c:2209 (discriminator 1) net/socket.c:2209 (discriminator 1)) do_syscall_64 (arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:63 (discriminator 1) arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94 (discriminator 1)) entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe (net/arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:130) This patch makes udp_sock_create6 return -EPFNOSUPPORT instead, so callers correctly take their error paths. There is only one caller of the vulnerable function and only privileged users can trigger it. | |||||
| CVE-2026-5590 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 6.4 MEDIUM |
| A race condition during TCP connection teardown can cause tcp_recv() to operate on a connection that has already been released. If tcp_conn_search() returns NULL while processing a SYN packet, a NULL pointer derived from stale context data is passed to tcp_backlog_is_full() and dereferenced without validation, leading to a crash. | |||||

| CVE-2026-55717 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Unbound | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.10.0 up to and including 1.25.1, when 'serve-expired: yes' is set together with a 'response-ip: <net> redirect' /'response-ip-data: <net> CNAME <target>' rule (or the RPZ 'rpz-cname-override' equivalent), a remote client who controls any delegated domain can crash the daemon. The serve-expired-client-timeout callback runs a two-pass loop to chase the respip-generated CNAME alias; on the second pass it resets 'alias_rrset' but not 'partial_rep'. Later, this inconsistency leads to a NULL pointer dereference and an eventual crash. A malicious actor can exploit the vulnerability by controlling any zone that replies with an A/AAAA record that falls inside the configured response-ip/rpz subnet. By delaying the answer when the previous record has expired, the vulnerable path of 'serve-expired-client-timeout' is taken leading to denial of service via the server crash. | |||||

| CVE-2026-32134 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM | ||
| NanoMQ MQTT Broker (NanoMQ) is an all-around Edge Messaging Platform. In versions 0.24.10 and below, when NanoMQ handles high-concurrency reconnect traffic using a reconnect-collision payload, the broker can crash due to a NULL pointer dereference during MQTT session resumption for clean_start=0 clients. The transport's p_peer callback (tcptran_pipe_peer()) iterates cpipe->subinfol while copying session metadata from the cached old pipe to the new reconnecting pipe, without checking whether the pointer is NULL. Under a reconnect race, cpipe->subinfol can be freed and set to NULL before session restore invokes this function, resulting in a remote unauthenticated Denial-of-Service (process crash) condition. This issue has been fixed in version 0.24.11. | |||||

| CVE-2026-32738 | 1 Struktur | 1 Libheif | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In versions 1.21.2 and below, a crafted 792-byte HEIF sequence file with samples_per_chunk=0 in the stsc box causes an unsigned integer underflow in the Chunk constructor (m_last_sample = 0 + 0 - 1 = UINT32_MAX), mapping all samples to an empty chunk and resulting in a denial of service. When any sample is accessed, the library reads from index 0 of an empty std::vector, causing a guaranteed SEGV (null-page read). The file parses successfully without producing an error; the crash occurs on the first frame access. This issue has been fixed in version 1.22.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-7262 | 1 Php | 1 Php | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| In PHP versions 8.2.* before 8.2.31, 8.3.* before 8.3.31, 8.4.* before 8.4.21, and 8.5.* before 8.5.6, when a SOAP server has a typemap configured, the decoding process contains a mistake which checks the wrong variable in case of missing value element. This leads to dereferences a NULL pointer, causing a segmentation fault. This allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to crash the PHP SOAP server process, resulting in denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-7450 | 1 Autodesk | 1 3ds Max | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A maliciously crafted PAR file, when parsed through Autodesk 3ds Max, can force a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability. Successful exploitation may cause the application to crash, leading to a denial-of-service condition. | |||||
| CVE-2026-6666 | 1 Pgbouncer | 1 Pgbouncer | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| A possible null pointer reference in PgBouncer before 1.25.2 could lead to a crash, if a server sends an error response without SQLSTATE field. | |||||
| CVE-2026-7259 | 1 Php | 1 Php | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| In PHP versions 8.2.* before 8.2.31, 8.3.* before 8.3.31, 8.4.* before 8.4.21, and 8.5.* before 8.5.6, a mismatch between encoding lists in Oniguruma and mbfl leads to a NULL pointer dereference, resulting in a segmentation fault and denial of service. The vulnerability is exploitable when user-controlled input can influence the encoding passed to mb_regex_encoding(). | |||||

| CVE-2026-53334 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/reclaim: handle ctx allocation failure Patch series "mm/damon/{reclaim,lru_sort}: handle ctx allocation failures". DAMON_RECLAIM and DAMON_LRU_SORT could dereference NULL pointers if their damon_ctx object allocations fail. The bugs are expected to happen infrequently because the allocations are arguably too small to fail on common setups. But theoretically they are possible and the consequences are bad. Fix those. The issues were discovered [1] by Sashiko. This patch (of 2): DAMON_RECLAIM allocates the damon_ctx object for its kdamond in its init function. damon_reclaim_enabled_store() wrongly assumes the allocation will always succeed once tried. If the damon_ctx allocation was failed, therefore, code execution reaches to damon_commit_ctx() while 'ctx' is NULL. As a result, it dereferences the NULL 'ctx' pointer. Avoid the NULL dereference by returning -ENOMEM if 'ctx' is NULL. | |||||
