A vulnerability was found in X.Org. This issue occurs due to a dangling pointer in DeepCopyPointerClasses that can be exploited by ProcXkbSetDeviceInfo() and ProcXkbGetDeviceInfo() to read and write into freed memory. This can lead to local privilege elevation on systems where the X server runs privileged and remote code execution for ssh X forwarding sessions.

CVE-2023-0469 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A use-after-free flaw was found in io_uring/filetable.c in io_install_fixed_file in the io_uring subcomponent in the Linux Kernel during call cleanup. This flaw may lead to a denial of service.
CVE-2023-0468 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM
A use-after-free flaw was found in io_uring/poll.c in io_poll_check_events in the io_uring subcomponent in the Linux Kernel due to a race condition of poll_refs. This flaw may cause a NULL pointer dereference.
CVE-2023-0461 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
There is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux Kernel which can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. To reach the vulnerability kernel configuration flag CONFIG_TLS or CONFIG_XFRM_ESPINTCP has to be configured, but the operation does not require any privilege. There is a use-after-free bug of icsk_ulp_data of a struct inet_connection_sock. When CONFIG_TLS is enabled, user can install a tls context (struct tls_context) on a connected tcp socket. The context is not cleared if this socket is disconnected and reused as a listener. If a new socket is created from the listener, the context is inherited and vulnerable. The setsockopt TCP_ULP operation does not require any privilege. We recommend upgrading past commit 2c02d41d71f90a5168391b6a5f2954112ba2307c
CVE-2023-0358 1 Gpac 1 Gpac 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Use After Free in GitHub repository gpac/gpac prior to 2.3.0-DEV.
CVE-2023-0266 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.9 HIGH
A use after free vulnerability exists in the ALSA PCM package in the Linux Kernel. SNDRV_CTL_IOCTL_ELEM_{READ|WRITE}32 is missing locks that can be used in a use-after-free that can result in a priviledge escalation to gain ring0 access from the system user. We recommend upgrading past commit 56b88b50565cd8b946a2d00b0c83927b7ebb055e
CVE-2023-0240 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
There is a logic error in io_uring's implementation which can be used to trigger a use-after-free vulnerability leading to privilege escalation. In the io_prep_async_work function the assumption that the last io_grab_identity call cannot return false is not true, and in this case the function will use the init_cred or the previous linked requests identity to do operations instead of using the current identity. This can lead to reference counting issues causing use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past version 5.10.161.
CVE-2023-0215 2 Openssl, Stormshield 2 Openssl, Stormshield Management Center 2026-06-17 N/A 7.5 HIGH
The public API function BIO_new_NDEF is a helper function used for streaming ASN.1 data via a BIO. It is primarily used internally to OpenSSL to support the SMIME, CMS and PKCS7 streaming capabilities, but may also be called directly by end user applications. The function receives a BIO from the caller, prepends a new BIO_f_asn1 filter BIO onto the front of it to form a BIO chain, and then returns the new head of the BIO chain to the caller. Under certain conditions, for example if a CMS recipient public key is invalid, the new filter BIO is freed and the function returns a NULL result indicating a failure. However, in this case, the BIO chain is not properly cleaned up and the BIO passed by the caller still retains internal pointers to the previously freed filter BIO. If the caller then goes on to call BIO_pop() on the BIO then a use-after-free will occur. This will most likely result in a crash. This scenario occurs directly in the internal function B64_write_ASN1() which may cause BIO_new_NDEF() to be called and will subsequently call BIO_pop() on the BIO. This internal function is in turn called by the public API functions PEM_write_bio_ASN1_stream, PEM_write_bio_CMS_stream, PEM_write_bio_PKCS7_stream, SMIME_write_ASN1, SMIME_write_CMS and SMIME_write_PKCS7. Other public API functions that may be impacted by this include i2d_ASN1_bio_stream, BIO_new_CMS, BIO_new_PKCS7, i2d_CMS_bio_stream and i2d_PKCS7_bio_stream. The OpenSSL cms and smime command line applications are similarly affected.

A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s nouveau driver in how a user triggers a memory overflow that causes the nvkm_vma_tail function to fail. This flaw allows a local user to crash or potentially escalate their privileges on the system.
CVE-2022-50552 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-mq: use quiesced elevator switch when reinitializing queues The hctx's run_work may be racing with the elevator switch when reinitializing hardware queues. The queue is merely frozen in this context, but that only prevents requests from allocating and doesn't stop the hctx work from running. The work may get an elevator pointer that's being torn down, and can result in use-after-free errors and kernel panics (example below). Use the quiesced elevator switch instead, and make the previous one static since it is now only used locally. nvme nvme0: resetting controller nvme nvme0: 32/0/0 default/read/poll queues BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000008 #PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode #PF: error_code(0x0000) - not-present page PGD 80000020c8861067 P4D 80000020c8861067 PUD 250f8c8067 PMD 0 Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP PTI Workqueue: kblockd blk_mq_run_work_fn RIP: 0010:kyber_has_work+0x29/0x70 ... CVE-2022-50542 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: si470x: Fix use-after-free in si470x_int_in_callback() syzbot reported use-after-free in si470x_int_in_callback() [1]. This indicates that urb->context, which contains struct si470x_device object, is freed when si470x_int_in_callback() is called. The cause of this issue is that si470x_int_in_callback() is called for freed urb. si470x_usb_driver_probe() calls si470x_start_usb(), which then calls usb_submit_urb() and si470x_start(). If si470x_start_usb() fails, si470x_usb_driver_probe() doesn't kill urb, but it just frees struct si470x_device object, as depicted below: si470x_usb_driver_probe() ... si470x_start_usb() ... usb_submit_urb() retval = si470x_start() return retval if (retval < 0) free struct si470x_device object, but don't kill urb This patch fixes this issue by killing urb when si470x_start_usb() fails and urb is submitted. If si470x_start_usb() fails and urb is not submitted, i.e. submitting usb fails, it just frees struct si470x_device object.
CVE-2022-50496 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm cache: Fix UAF in destroy() Dm_cache also has the same UAF problem when dm_resume() and dm_destroy() are concurrent. Therefore, cancelling timer again in destroy().
CVE-2022-50433 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: efi: ssdt: Don't free memory if ACPI table was loaded successfully Amadeusz reports KASAN use-after-free errors introduced by commit 3881ee0b1edc ("efi: avoid efivars layer when loading SSDTs from variables"). The problem appears to be that the memory that holds the new ACPI table is now freed unconditionally, instead of only when the ACPI core reported a failure to load the table. So let's fix this, by omitting the kfree() on success.
CVE-2022-50423 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ACPICA: Fix use-after-free in acpi_ut_copy_ipackage_to_ipackage() There is an use-after-free reported by KASAN: BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in acpi_ut_remove_reference+0x3b/0x82 Read of size 1 at addr ffff888112afc460 by task modprobe/2111 CPU: 0 PID: 2111 Comm: modprobe Not tainted 6.1.0-rc7-dirty Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), Call Trace: <TASK> kasan_report+0xae/0xe0 acpi_ut_remove_reference+0x3b/0x82 acpi_ut_copy_iobject_to_iobject+0x3be/0x3d5 acpi_ds_store_object_to_local+0x15d/0x3a0 acpi_ex_store+0x78d/0x7fd acpi_ex_opcode_1A_1T_1R+0xbe4/0xf9b acpi_ps_parse_aml+0x217/0x8d5 ... </TASK> The root cause of the problem is that the acpi_operand_object is freed when acpi_ut_walk_package_tree() fails in acpi_ut_copy_ipackage_to_ipackage(), lead to repeated release in acpi_ut_copy_iobject_to_iobject(). The problem was introduced by "8aa5e56eeb61" commit, this commit is to fix memory leak in acpi_ut_copy_iobject_to_iobject(), repeatedly adding remove operation, lead to "acpi_operand_object" used after free. Fix it by removing acpi_ut_remove_reference() in acpi_ut_copy_ipackage_to_ipackage(). acpi_ut_copy_ipackage_to_ipackage() is called to copy an internal package object into another internal package object, when it fails, the memory of acpi_operand_object should be freed by the caller.
