| CVE-2026-46347 | 2026-10-29 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM | ||
| The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. Prior to version 26.05, when a password reset link is visited, the application generates a replacement password in a predictable way and emails it to the account holder. The insufficient entropy allows the password to be brute-forced by an attacker who can approximate the server-side generation time. Exploiting this finding in isolation requires the victim to have triggered the reset themselves and the attacker to infer the server time from network or email metadata. This issue has been patched in version 26.05. | |||||
| CVE-2024-52615 | 2026-10-28 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw was found in Avahi-daemon, which relies on fixed source ports for wide-area DNS queries. This issue simplifies attacks where malicious DNS responses are injected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40306 | 1 Dnnsoftware | 1 Dotnetnuke | 2026-10-26 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| DNN (formerly DotNetNuke) is an open-source web content management platform (CMS) in the Microsoft ecosystem. All new installations of DNN 10.x.x - 10.2.1 have the same Host GUID. This does not affect upgrades from 9.x.x. Version 10.2.2 patches the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-33710 | 1 Chamilo | 1 Chamilo Lms | 2026-10-26 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Chamilo LMS is a learning management system. Prior to 1.11.38 and 2.0.0-RC.3, REST API keys are generated using md5(time() + (user_id * 5) - rand(10000, 10000)). The rand(10000, 10000) call always returns exactly 10000 (min == max), making the formula effectively md5(timestamp + user_id*5 - 10000). An attacker who knows a username and approximate key creation time can brute-force the API key. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.11.38 and 2.0.0-RC.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42155 | 2026-10-26 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Magento Long Term Support (LTS) is an unofficial, community-driven project provides an alternative to the Magento Community Edition e-commerce platform with a high level of backward compatibility. Prior to 20.18.0, the XML-RPC / SOAP API session ID is generated using an outdated, time-based construction rather than a Cryptographically Secure Pseudo-Random Number Generator (CSPRNG). All inputs to the MD5 hash are time-derived and non-secure. Because the resulting digest relies entirely on the timestamp and the PHP internal LCG state, the effective entropy is severely constrained. This violates the OWASP ASVS v4 requirement of ≥ 64 bits of entropy (V3.2.2) and NIST SP 800-63B standards. By narrowing the LCG window (via server state leaks or general predictability) and leveraging the lack of API rate-limiting, an attacker can generate a localized pool of candidate MD5 hashes and execute a high-speed online brute-force attack to hijack active API sessions. This vulnerability is fixed in 20.18.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-79981 | 2026-10-26 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| The DNS stub resolver in subsys/net/lib/dns/resolve.c binds one UDP socket per configured server when the resolver context is initialised (dns_resolve_init_locked() -> register_dispatcher() -> dns_dispatcher_register()), with the local port left at 0 so the stack picks an ephemeral port exactly once. dns_write() then sends every subsequent query from that same socket without re-binding, so the source port is constant for the lifetime of the resolver context while only the 16-bit transaction identifier (ctx->queries[i].id, drawn with sys_rand16_get()) varies per query. RFC 5452 section 9.2 requires both to vary; with a fixed port, an off-path attacker has to guess only the identifier. The stable port is cheap to learn. Any single observed query reveals it permanently, and it can also be found by probing the ephemeral UDP range: subsys/net/ip/connection.c answers unmatched unicast UDP with an ICMP port-unreachable, so the resolver's socket is the one port in that range that stays silent. Acceptance of a reply is decided solely by get_slot_by_id() matching the transaction identifier and a CRC-16 of the queried name — the reply's source address is never checked (dispatcher_cb() does ARG_UNUSED(addr)), so forged answers need not even be spoofed to appear to come from the configured server; they only need to reach the resolver's port. An attacker with UDP reachability to the device (same LAN, Wi-Fi or mesh segment, or a globally routable device address) can therefore flood answers for a predictable query name across the 16-bit identifier space during a query window and race the legitimate server. A win makes the application resolve an attacker-chosen address, and with CONFIG_DNS_RESOLVER_CACHE enabled the forged record is retained for its attacker-chosen TTL. The attack still requires winning that race, and applications that validate TLS certificates for the resolved endpoint are largely protected. The fix draws a fresh local port before each query to a server that has nothing outstanding: dns_randomize_source_port() unregisters the dispatcher, closes and reopens the socket, and re-registers it bound to port 0 so the system selects a new port, raising the per-query guessing space from roughly 16 to roughly 31 bits. Multicast DNS and LLMNR are excluded because their ports are protocol-fixed. The behaviour is controlled by CONFIG_DNS_RESOLVER_RANDOMIZE_SOURCE_PORT (default y). | |||||
| CVE-2026-41505 | 2026-10-26 | N/A | 8.7 HIGH | ||
| RELATE is a web-based courseware package. Prior to commit 2f68e16, RELATE is vulnerable to predictable token generation in auth.py's make_sign_in_key() function and exam.py's gen_ticket_code() function. This issue has been patched via commit 2f68e16. | |||||
| CVE-2026-57082 | 2026-10-25 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM | ||
| Net::BitTorrent versions before 2.1.0 for Perl generate the MSE Diffie-Hellman private key with a non-cryptographic PRNG. The MSE (Message Stream Encryption) handshake derives its 160-bit Diffie-Hellman private key from Perl's rand(), a non-cryptographic drand48-class generator seeded once per process, in KeyExchange.pm. The shared secret and the RC4 keys derived from it (the SHA-1 of "keyA" or "keyB", the shared secret, and the infohash) therefore depend entirely on a predictable PRNG. The same handshake sends, in cleartext, random padding drawn from the same rand() sequence in _random_pad, immediately after the public key and the private-key draw. A passive observer of the handshake recovers the PRNG state from the cleartext padding, reconstructs the private key, computes the shared secret from the peer's public key on the wire, derives the RC4 keys, and decrypts the connection, defeating the passive-observation obfuscation MSE provides. | |||||
| CVE-2026-14570 | 2026-10-25 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Crypt::DSA versions before 1.22 for Perl draw the DSA signing nonce and private key from a biased random generator, leading to private-key recovery. "Crypt::DSA::Util::makerandom forces the high bit of every value it returns to obtain an exactly N-bit integer for prime search. The signing nonce and the private key are drawn from makerandom. Because the high bit is always set, the result is not uniform: its top bit is fixed, producing insecure values." An attacker who collects a modest number of signatures under an affected key, together with the public key, can recover the private key with a lattice attack. Keys used to sign with an affected version should be considered compromised and new keys should be generated. | |||||
| CVE-2026-14702 | 2026-10-25 | 1.0 LOW | 2.5 LOW | ||
| A flaw has been found in zcaceres markdownify-mcp up to 1.1.0. This impacts the function saveToTempFile of the file src/Markdownify.ts of the component webpage-to-markdown/youtube-to-markdown/bing-search-to-markdown. This manipulation causes insufficiently random values. The attack is restricted to local execution. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is said to be difficult. The exploit has been published and may be used. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. | |||||
| CVE-2026-47703 | 1 Adguard | 1 Adguardhome | 2026-10-24 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| AdGuard Home is a network-wide software for blocking ads and tracking. Prior to 0.107.75, AdGuard Home's client-triggered DoQ forwarding path to a udp:// upstream reduced backend UDP DNS state by producing dns_id=0 or txid=0 and exposed a quoted-port ICMP source-port oracle, weakening DNS response matching for forwarded queries. This issue is fixed in version 0.107.75. | |||||
| CVE-2026-66391 | 1 Apache | 1 Wicket | 2026-10-24 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Use of Insufficiently Random Values, Protection Mechanism Failure vulnerability in Apache Wicket. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 9.0.0 through 9.23.0, from 10.0.0 through 10.9.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 10.10.0, which fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-114576 | 2026-10-23 | 2.6 LOW | 3.7 LOW | ||
| A vulnerability has been found in Linksys RE6250 1.0.04.001. This affects the function strcmp of the component Web Management Interface. The manipulation of the argument session_id leads to insufficiently random values. The attack may be initiated remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. It is indicated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46346 | 2026-10-23 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| The Goobi viewer is a web application that allows digitised material to be displayed in a web browser. Prior to version 26.05, the password reset token is predictably based on the time of the reset request. An attacker who knows the target's email address can request a reset and then brute-force the token. Exploiting this finding alone forces an unauthorized password reset on any account. This issue has been patched in version 26.05. | |||||
| CVE-2026-18531 | 1 Ibm | 1 Maximo Application Suite | 2026-10-23 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.2, 9.1, and 9.0 could allow a remote attacker to tamper with session data due to the use of a weak HMAC session signing secret. | |||||
| CVE-2026-106074 | 2026-10-23 | N/A | 4.8 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw in Node.js `crypto` causes the internal entropy caches used by `crypto.randomUUID()`, `crypto.randomUUIDv7()`, and `crypto.randomInt()` to be saved into user-land startup snapshots (`--build-snapshot`) and single executable applications built with `useSnapshot`. If any of these functions, or an API that relies on them such as `URL.createObjectURL()`, is called while the snapshot is built, every process started from that snapshot returns the same values until the cache is refilled: up to 127 UUIDs and about 1,000 `randomInt()` values. Identifiers expected to be unique can collide across processes, and values issued by one process can be predicted by observing another. This vulnerability affects Node.js **26.x**, **24.x**, and **22.x**. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55889 | 2026-10-23 | N/A | N/A | ||
| XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal. Prior to version 1.22.1, malicious sandboxed applications can use the FileTransfer.RetrieveFiles method to redirect drag-and-drop and copy-paste data targeted at other applications to itself. Some portals generate tokens which provide access to resources. The sharing of the token transfers access to the resource and is supposed to happen out of band. The tokens were generated with g_random_int or g_uuid_string_random, both of which use GLib's GRand based on the Mersenne Twister PRNG which created a stream of reproducible random numbers. By generating enough tokens, the state of the GRand can be recover and with it, the next tokens can be predictedinsufin. This issue has been patched in version 1.22.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71225 | 2 Redhat, Smuellerdd | 4 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-22 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in libkcapi. When performing one-shot symmetric cipher operations on large inputs (over 64 KiB) in stateful modes such as Counter (CTR) or Cipher Block Chaining (CBC), the library improperly reuses the Initialization Vector (IV) for each internal data chunk. A remote attacker could potentially exploit this by making an application that uses libkcapi process specially crafted large inputs. This can lead to a significant weakening of data confidentiality, as the repeated IV use can expose relationships in encrypted plaintext, and may also affect data integrity by causing incorrect cryptographic processing. | |||||
| CVE-2026-76105 | 1 Dell | 1 Container Storage Modules | 2026-10-20 | N/A | 7.7 HIGH |
| Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0 contain(s) an Use of Insufficiently Random Values vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information tampering. | |||||
| CVE-2026-6719 | 2026-10-19 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| IBM Concert 1.0 through 3.0.0 uses weaker than expected cryptographic algorithms that could allow an attacker to decrypt highly sensitive information. | |||||
