| CVE-2026-39835 | 1 Golang | 1 Crypto | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| SSH servers which use CertChecker as a public key callback without setting IsUserAuthority or IsHostAuthority could be caused to panic by a client presenting a certificate. CertChecker now returns an error instead of panicking when these callbacks are nil. | |||||
| CVE-2026-39828 | 1 Golang | 1 Crypto | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 6.3 MEDIUM |
| When an SSH server authentication callback returned PartialSuccessError with non-nil Permissions, those permissions were silently discarded, potentially dropping certificate restrictions such as force-command after a second factor succeeded. Returning non-nil Permissions with PartialSuccessError now results in a connection error. | |||||
| CVE-2026-79637 | 1 Dell | 1 Secure Connect Gateway | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 7.7 HIGH |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access. | |||||

| CVE-2026-9036 | 1 Ibm | 1 Netezza Performance Server | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| IBM Netezza Software 11.3.0.3 through Interim Fix 002 does not validate or improperly validates TLS certificate validation, which could allow an attacker to obtain sensitive information using man in the middle techniques. | |||||
| CVE-2026-69248 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | N/A | ||
| cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers. In versions 45.0.0 through 48.0.0, if an intermediate constrained CA permits the DNS name foo.example.com, and the leaf certificate has a wildcard in its DNS SAN of *.example.com, python-cryptography's verifier accepts which allows escaping outside of the permitted names. The core issue is in DNSConstraint::matches, where a wildcard pattern was treated as matching a more-specific permitted constraint even though *.example.com can expand to sibling names such as bar.example.com outside foo.example.com. This allows acceptance of an invalid certificate chain. This issue is fixed in 49.0.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-63336 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | N/A | ||
| The RabbitMQ Java client library allows Java and JVM-based applications to connect to and interact with RabbitMQ nodes. Prior to 5.33.0, com.rabbitmq.client.ConnectionFactory.useSslProtocol() and ConnectionFactory.useSslProtocol(String) configure com.rabbitmq.client.TrustEverythingTrustManager and leave hostname verification disabled, causing arbitrary server certificates, including self-signed certificates, to be accepted. A network attacker able to intercept a TLS connection can impersonate the RabbitMQ broker, read protected AMQP traffic, and modify traffic without certificate or hostname validation. The fix changes the production TLS helpers to use the JVM default trust store and enables hostname verification, while retaining an explicitly named development-only no-verification helper. This issue is fixed in version 5.33.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-85221 | 1 Misp-project | 1 Misp | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| MISP contains an improper TLS certificate validation vulnerability in CurlClient. The CurlClient::$verifyPeer property was not explicitly initialized and therefore defaulted to null. When passed to cURL, this value effectively disabled TLS peer verification unless the calling code explicitly enabled it. As a result, HTTPS connections made through affected CurlClient instances could accept certificates that were not issued by a trusted certificate authority. An attacker capable of intercepting or manipulating network traffic between a MISP instance and a remote HTTPS service could impersonate the remote endpoint and perform a man-in-the-middle attack. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to observe sensitive information transmitted by MISP, including authentication material or exchanged threat intelligence, and to modify responses returned to the MISP instance. The impact depends on the functionality using CurlClient and the data exchanged with the remote service. The patch enables TLS peer verification by default while preserving explicit support for configured self-signed certificates. It also corrects the self-signed certificate handling in SyncTool so that peer verification is disabled only when no pinned CA certificate is configured. | |||||
| CVE-2026-0296 | 1 Paloaltonetworks | 1 Globalprotect | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| Improper certificate validation vulnerabilities in Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtectâ„¢ app enable an unauthenticated attacker with man-in-the-middle (MitM) access to intercept and modify application communications. VPN tunnel traffic is not impacted. The GlobalProtect app on iOS, Android, and Chrome OS is not affected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-85525 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH | ||
| Improper OCSP response validation in the Snowflake Python, Go, JDBC, and Node.js drivers allowed a revoked TLS certificate to be accepted as valid, because OCSP responses were not reliably bound to the certificate being validated and definitive verification failures were treated as transient. A man-in-the-middle attacker holding a revoked certificate and its private key for a Snowflake or stage hostname could cause the driver to establish a TLS session to the attacker-controlled endpoint anyway, allowing the attacker to read and modify data transmitted within that connection. Successful exploitation requires that on-path position and the corresponding private key, and impact is limited to data carried within the intercepted connection. The fix is available in Snowflake Connector for Python v4.7.3, Snowflake Go Driver v2.2.0, Snowflake JDBC Driver v4.3.4 (including the snowflake-jdbc-fips and snowflake-jdbc-thin), and Snowflake Node.js Driver v3.3.0. Users must manually upgrade. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82662 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Nodemailer before 8.0.8 disables TLS certificate verification in lib/fetch/index.js through rejectUnauthorized: false, allowing attackers to intercept OAuth2 token requests. Attackers in a machine-in-the-middle position can capture OAuth client secrets, refresh tokens, and access tokens transmitted over compromised HTTPS connections. | |||||
| CVE-2026-9697 | 1 Nodejs | 1 Undici | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| Impact: undici's ProxyAgent silently drops the requestTls option when configured with a SOCKS5 proxy URI (socks5:// or socks://). The target HTTPS connection through the SOCKS5 tunnel falls back to Node's default trust store, ignoring user-configured ca, cert, key, rejectUnauthorized, and servername settings. Applications that pin to an internal or corporate CA via requestTls.ca will, when their proxy URI is SOCKS5, get the default Mozilla CA bundle as the trust anchor instead. Any cert signed by any publicly-trusted CA for the target hostname is accepted, breaking the intended pin and enabling MITM read and tamper of the HTTPS exchange. Affected applications are those that use undici's ProxyAgent (or Socks5ProxyAgent directly) with SOCKS5 AND rely on requestTls for TLS scope restriction. The bug was introduced in undici 7.23.0 when SOCKS5 support was added. Patches: Upgrade to undici v7.28.0 or v8.5.0. Workarounds: No workaround is available within the SOCKS5 path. If a SOCKS5 proxy with TLS scope restriction is required and an upgrade is not yet possible, route the traffic through an HTTP-proxy ProxyAgent instead, where requestTls is honored correctly. | |||||
| CVE-2026-85102 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| Improper certificate trust validation during VPN negotiation in Check Point Quantum Security Gateway may allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the Gateway. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73251 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to 7.23, a network attacker can impersonate a TLS server to a Mongoose client configured with a multi-certificate CA bundle. In src/tls_builtin.c, the mg_tls_init() function stores the bundle in tls->ca_bundle_der while tls->ca_der.len remains zero, and mg_tls_recv_cert() uses tls_bundle_find() to accept a Common Name match without calling mg_tls_verify_cert_signature(). A forged self-signed certificate can therefore satisfy hostname and CertificateVerify checks and enable interception, credential disclosure, traffic modification, and malicious responses. This issue is fixed in version 7.23. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73253 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Mongoose is an embedded web server and network library. Prior to version 7.22, an on-path network attacker with a wildcard certificate for a parent domain can impersonate deeper subdomains to a client using the built-in TLS stack. The mg_tls_verify_cert_san() and mg_tls_verify_cert_cn() functions in src/tls_builtin.c call mg_match(), whose wildcard can cross DNS label boundaries, so a pattern such as *.example.com can match foo.bar.example.com. The resulting hostname verification bypass permits interception and modification of TLS traffic. This issue is fixed in version 7.22. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53583 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, verify_server_cert in src/libgit2/streams/openssl.c uses an inverted !!memcmp result in the GEN_IPADD branch when comparing an IP-literal host with a certificate IP SubjectAltName. OpenSSL builds reject matching IP addresses and accept mismatched IP addresses, allowing a network attacker with a CA-trusted certificate containing any IP SubjectAltName to intercept libgit2 connections to IP-literal HTTPS URLs. DNS SubjectAltName validation and non-OpenSSL TLS backends are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5. | |||||
| CVE-2026-84197 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| In Eclipse Ditto's Node.js JavaScript client, all released versions of @eclipse-ditto/ditto-javascript-client-node from 2.0.0 to 3.9.0 and of its predecessor package @eclipse-ditto/ditto-javascript-client-node_1.0 from 1.0.0 to 2.1.0, the WebSocket transport hard-codes rejectUnauthorized: false when creating the underlying ws WebSocket. Certificate chain and hostname validation are therefore disabled for every wss:// connection, and no builder option, constructor argument or environment variable lets an application turn validation back on. An attacker in a position to intercept the connection can present an arbitrary certificate, complete the TLS handshake, read the credentials that the configured authentication provider sends in the Authorization header of the WebSocket upgrade request, and read, alter or inject Ditto Protocol messages for the lifetime of the connection. The Java client, the browser/DOM JavaScript client and the HTTP transport of the Node.js client are not affected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54548 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 3.3 LOW | ||
| kas is a setup tool for bitbake based projects. Prior to 5.4, internal SSH key setup triggered by SSH_PRIVATE_KEY or SSH_PRIVATE_KEY_FILE creates ~/.ssh/config when no user-specific SSH configuration exists and adds a global Host * rule containing StrictHostKeyChecking no. In kas/libcmds.py, ssh_no_host_key_check() runs without checking ctx.managed_env, so the setting persists after kas exits and affects future SSH sessions by the same local user, extending beyond the intended short-lived continuous integration environment. A later SSH connection can therefore accept an attacker-controlled host key without verification, increasing the risk of a man-in-the-middle attack that compromises session confidentiality or integrity. This issue is fixed in version 5.4. | |||||
| CVE-2026-67598 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH | ||
| Emlog Pro through 2.6.23 contains a disabled TLS certificate validation vulnerability in include/service/ai.php that allows network-adjacent attackers to intercept outbound HTTPS requests to configured LLM providers by presenting arbitrary TLS certificates, as CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER and CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST are unconditionally disabled across sendStream(), sendImageRequest(), send(), and fetchSearchHtml() with no option to re-enable verification. Attackers can perform man-in-the-middle interception to extract Authorization Bearer API keys from every AI request and inject crafted AI responses that may be acted upon by the tool-call execution pipeline, including the query_database and update_config tool handlers. | |||||
| CVE-2026-78483 | 1 Dell | 1 Secure Connect Gateway | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to protection mechanism bypass. | |||||
