| Improper certificate validation in Windows Active Directory allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45574 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH | ||
| epa4all-client is the Java Client for epa4all / ePA 3.0 in the Telematik Infrastruktur. Prior to 1.2.2, an attacker on the network path between the ePA service and the Konnektor can present any TLS certificate (self-signed, expired, wrong CN) and intercept all SOAP traffic. This includes patient identifiers (KVNR), SMC-B card operations (authentication, signing), document content, and credential exchanges. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.2.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48697 | 1 Pavel-odintsov | 1 Fastnetmon | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| FastNetMon Community Edition through 1.2.9 does not verify TLS certificates on outbound HTTPS connections. The execute_web_request_secure() function in src/fast_library.cpp creates a boost::asio::ssl::context with tls_client mode and calls set_default_verify_paths() to load CA certificates, but never calls set_verify_mode(boost::asio::ssl::verify_peer). Without this call, OpenSSL performs the TLS handshake without validating the server's certificate chain, making all HTTPS connections vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks. This function is used for telemetry reporting to community-stats.fastnetmon.com, which sends system information including CPU model, kernel version, traffic statistics, and software configuration. An attacker can intercept and modify this data or redirect it to a malicious server. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44900 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH | ||
| epa4all-client is the Java Client for epa4all / ePA 3.0 in the Telematik Infrastruktur. Prior to 1.2.1, in SignedPublicKeysTrustValidatorImpl.isTrusted(), the ECDSA signature verification at line 45 discards the boolean return value of Signature.verify(). The method performs certificate chain validation, OCSP check, and signature algorithm setup, but never checks whether the signature actually matches. For any structurally valid signature, it returns true. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.2.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44213 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| The OpenTelemetry.Exporter.Instana exports telemetry to Instana backend. Prior to 1.1.0, the OpenTelemetry.Exporter.Instana NuGet package does not validate HTTPS/TLS certificates are valid when sending telemetry to a configured Instana back-end when a proxy is configured using the INSTANA_ENDPOINT_PROXY environment variable. If a network attacker can Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) the proxy connection, all OpenTelemetry telemetry data and the Instana API key are exposed to the attacker. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.1.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46428 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | N/A | ||
| lettre is a a mailer library for Rust. Starting in version 0.10.1 and prior to version 0.11.22, an inverted-boolean bug in lettre's `boring-tls` integration silently disables TLS hostname verification for callers using the default (strict) configuration. An on-path attacker presenting any chain-valid certificate for any domain can intercept SMTP submission, including PLAIN/LOGIN credentials and message contents, against any lettre user built with the `boring-tls` feature. Other TLS backends (`native-tls`, `rustls`) are unaffected. Version 0.11.22 patches the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48248 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM | ||
| Open ISES Tickets before 3.44.2 disables TLS certificate verification in incs/login.inc.php by setting CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER to false (and not setting CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST) when issuing outbound HTTPS requests issued during the login/authentication flow. An attacker positioned on the network path between the server and the remote endpoint can present a forged certificate to intercept, monitor, or modify the request and response, including any API keys or session-bearing data in transit. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48249 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM | ||
| Open ISES Tickets before 3.44.2 disables TLS certificate verification in rm/incs/mobile_login.inc.php by setting CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER to false (and not setting CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST) when issuing outbound HTTPS requests issued during the mobile (RouteMate) login flow. An attacker positioned on the network path between the server and the remote endpoint can present a forged certificate to intercept, monitor, or modify the request and response, including any API keys or session-bearing data in transit. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48247 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM | ||
| Open ISES Tickets before 3.44.2 disables TLS certificate verification in incs/functions.inc.php by setting CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER to false (and not setting CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST) when issuing outbound HTTPS requests for general-purpose outbound HTTPS requests issued by the shared helper functions. An attacker positioned on the network path between the server and the remote endpoint can present a forged certificate to intercept, monitor, or modify the request and response, including any API keys or session-bearing data in transit. | |||||
| CVE-2026-32253 | 1 Lizardbyte | 1 Sunshine | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Sunshine is a self-hosted game stream host for Moonlight. In versions prior to 2026.516.143833, the client-certificate authentication can be bypassed because of how OpenSSL verification results are handled. In src/crypto.cpp, the custom verify callback treats X509_V_ERR_UNABLE_TO_GET_ISSUER_CERT_LOCALLY, X509_V_ERR_CERT_NOT_YET_VALID, and X509_V_ERR_CERT_HAS_EXPIRED as success. This can allow an untrusted certificate to pass authentication and access protected HTTPS endpoints. This issue has been fixed in version 2026.516.143833. | |||||
| CVE-2026-8992 | 2 Ivanti, Microsoft | 2 Secure Access Client, Windows | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| An improper certificate validation vulnerability in Ivanti Secure Access Client before 22.8R6 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code. | |||||
| CVE-2026-9058 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | N/A | ||
| For untrusted certificates that contain the "Authority Information Access - caIssuers URI" extension, Szafir SDK will automatically download the parent CA certificate from the specified URL and will import it to its trust store as a "nonqualified" certificate. In such a case, Szafir SDK returns a success status code of 0 ("Positively verified") upon successful cryptographic verification and a certificate status of "nonqualified". For other types of untrusted certificates, Szafir SDK returns a success status code of 0 ("Positively verified") upon successful cryptographic verification and a certificate status of "nondetermined". This may lead integrating applications to incorrectly treat the digital signature as valid despite an untrusted certificate chain. This flaw enables authentication bypass and user impersonation: (1) in use-cases other than qualified certificate authentication, or (2) if the qualified certificate authentication use-case is not correctly implemented by the integrating application. This issue was fixed in version 1.8.463.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41714 | 1 Vmware | 1 Spring Advanced Message Queuing Protocol | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 4.0 MEDIUM |
| Applications that configure their broker connection via RabbitConnectionFactoryBean.setUri("amqps://...") without also calling setUseSSL(true) get TLS encryption with no certificate validation and no hostname verification. Affected versions: Spring AMQP 4.0.0 through 4.0.3; 3.2.0 through 3.2.10; 3.1.0 through 3.1.15; 2.4.0 through 2.4.17. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42769 | 1 Openssl | 1 Openssl | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Issue Summary: An error in the callback used to verify the certificate provided in a Root CA key update Certificate Management Protocol (CMP) message response rendered the certificate validation ineffectual, which could lead to escalation of credentials from the Registration Authority (RA) level to the root Certification Authority (root CA) level. Impact Summary: The Registration Autority could replace the root CA certificate for the CMP clients with an arbitrary root CA certificate. One of the parts of the Certificate Management Protocol (CMP), specified in RFC 9810, is Root Certification Authority (root CA) key Rollover, which is sent by the server in a message with type 'id-it-rootCaKeyUpdate'. As part of these messages, 'newWithOld' certificate, the new root CA certificate signed with the old root CA key, is provided, and verifying its signature is crucial for transferring the trust from the old CA key to the new one. The 'id-it-rootCaKeyUpdate' messages are expected to be processed with OSSL_CMP_get1_rootCaKeyUpdate(), that is expected to verify the 'newWithOld' certificate. A typo in the certificate chain building code led to adding an incorrect certificate ('newWithOld' instead of 'oldRoot') to the certificate chain, rendering the certificate verification process ineffectual (only the issuer name and the algorithm OIDs were verified by other parts of the verification code). An attacker who already has credentials that satisfy the CMP message protection checks can generate a new key pair and use a crafted self-signed certificate in its 'id-it-rootCaKeyUpdate' CMP messages which affected CMP clients would accept as a new trust anchor. Significant preconditions for the attack (having valid RA-level credentials) are the reason the issue was assigned Low severity. The FIPS modules are not affected by this issue, as the affected code is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary. | |||||
| CVE-2026-50752 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH | ||
| A weakness in the certificate validation logic of the deprecated IKEv1 key exchange may allow an unauthenticated attacker positioned as a man-in-the-middle to bypass certificate validation in VPN site-to-site connections that use certificate-based authentication. Successful exploitation could allow interception or modification of traffic traversing the VPN tunnel. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41859 | 2026-07-22 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| A network man-in-the-middle between nats-sync and the BOSH director can steal the director credentials (Basic auth header or UAA client secret) and can tamper with the VM list that is written into the NATS authorization file. Stolen credentials grant administrative director access. UsersSync#bosh_api_response_body builds a Net::HTTP client with verify_mode = OpenSSL::SSL::VERIFY_NONE for every director call (/info, /deployments, /deployments/<name>/vms). Affected versions: - BOSH: all versions prior to v282.1.9 (inclusive); fixed in v282.1.9 or later | |||||
| CVE-2026-50302 | 1 Microsoft | 7 Windows 10 21h2, Windows 10 22h2, Windows 11 24h2 and 4 more | 2026-07-22 | N/A | 4.2 MEDIUM |
| Improper certificate validation in Windows Cryptographic Services allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. | |||||
