| CVE-2026-62183 | 1 Apache | 1 Syncope | 2026-07-27 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in Apache Syncope. When: * the all-Java user workflow adapter is configured, or * the Flowable user workflow adapter is configured, bearing a BPMN definition not requiring admin approval for user self registration of self update requests the following scenario could happen. A REST API call can allow the user to grant themselves one or more of defined Roles, thus gaining their Entitlements and becoming in fact an administrator; the actual Entitlements gained depend on the Roles that are effectively defined on the specific Syncope deployment. This issue affects Apache Syncope: from 3.0.0-M0 through 3.0.16, from 4.0.0-M0 Through 4.0.6, from 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.1. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.7 / 4.1.2, which fix this issue. | |||||

Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Access Manager. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle Access Manager accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 5.3 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N). | |||||
| CVE-2026-27456 | 1 Kernel | 1 Util-linux | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities. Prior to version 2.41.4, a TOCTOU (Time-of-Check-Time-of-Use) vulnerability has been identified in the SUID binary /usr/bin/mount from util-linux. The mount binary, when setting up loop devices, validates the source file path with user privileges via fork() + setuid() + realpath(), but subsequently re-canonicalizes and opens it with root privileges (euid=0) without verifying that the path has not been replaced between both operations. Neither O_NOFOLLOW, nor inode comparison, nor post-open fstat() are employed. This allows a local unprivileged user to replace the source file with a symlink pointing to any root-owned file or device during the race window, causing the SUID binary to open and mount it as root. Exploitation requires an /etc/fstab entry with user,loop options whose path points to a directory where the attacker has write permission, and that /usr/bin/mount has the SUID bit set (the default configuration on virtually all Linux distributions). The impact is unauthorized read access to root-protected files and block devices, including backup images, disk volumes, and any file containing a valid filesystem. This issue has been patched in version 2.41.4. | |||||

| CVE-2023-7342 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| HiSecOS web server versions 03.4.00 prior to 04.1.00 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows authenticated users with operator or auditor roles to escalate privileges to the administrator role by sending specially crafted packets to the web server. Attackers can exploit this flaw to gain full administrative access to the affected device. | |||||
| CVE-2024-44250 | 1 Apple | 1 Macos | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH |
| A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.1. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code out of its sandbox or with certain elevated privileges. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42562 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 8.3 HIGH | ||
| Plainpad is a self hosted note taking app. Prior to version 1.1.1, Plainpad allows a low-privilege authenticated user to self-escalate to administrator by submitting admin=true in PUT /api.php/v1/users/{id}. The endpoint directly persists the admin attribute from user input, and the escalated account can immediately access admin-only routes. This issue has been patched in version 1.1.1. | |||||
| CVE-2023-7343 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| Hirschmann Industrial HiVision versions 05.0.00 through 08.3.01 prior to 08.3.02 contain an arbitrary code execution vulnerability triggered when an administrator opens a maliciously crafted project file. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute code in the context of the HiVision process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40291 | 1 Chamilo | 1 Chamilo Lms | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| Chamilo LMS is an open-source learning management system. In versions prior to 2.0.0-RC.3, an insecure direct object modification vulnerability in the PUT /api/users/{id} endpoint allows any authenticated user with ROLE_STUDENT to escalate their privileges to ROLE_ADMIN by modifying the roles field on their own user record. The API Platform security expression is_granted('EDIT', object) only verifies record ownership, and the roles field is included in the writable serialization group, enabling any user to set arbitrary roles such as ROLE_ADMIN. Successful exploitation grants full administrative control of the platform, including access to all courses, user data, grades, and administrative settings. This issue has been fixed in version 2.0.0-RC.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-16743 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw was found in accountsservice. The systemd-homed code path for SetIconFile opens a user-supplied filename as root without the validation and privilege drop performed by the classic handler. A local attacker with a systemd-homed-managed account can read arbitrary files accessible to the accounts-daemon process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-12497 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content WordPress plugin before 4.16.18 does not consistently enforce the role restriction configured on its front-end registration role-selection field. The set of roles offered to the visitor and the set of roles the registration handler accepts are derived by two different parsers, and for some valid ways of configuring the offered roles the handler ignores the restriction and falls back to accepting any non-administrator role. Combined with the absence of a nonce on the public registration handler, this allows an unauthenticated visitor to register an account with a higher role, such as Editor or Author, than the form was configured to offer. | |||||
| CVE-2026-12981 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| The CAFEHAUS API WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not have any authentication or authorisation when updating user passwords, allowing unauthenticated attackers to set the password of any user, including administrators, and fully take over their accounts. | |||||
