| CVE-2026-41193 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL | ||
| FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.215, FreeScout's module installation feature extracts ZIP archives without validating file paths, allowing an authenticated admin to write files arbitrarily on the server filesystem via a specially crafted ZIP. Version 1.8.215 fixes the vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41180 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| PsiTransfer is an open source, self-hosted file sharing solution. Prior to version 2.4.3, the upload PATCH flow under `/files/:uploadId` validates the mounted request path using the still-encoded `req.path`, but the downstream tus handler later writes using the decoded `req.params.uploadId`. In deployments that use a supported custom `PSITRANSFER_UPLOAD_DIR` whose basename prefixes a startup-loaded JavaScript path, such as `conf`, an unauthenticated attacker can create `config.<NODE_ENV>.js` in the application root. The attacker-controlled file is then executed on the next process restart. Version 2.4.3 contains a patch. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41062 | 1 Wwbn | 1 Avideo | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the directory traversal fix introduced in commit 2375eb5e0 for `objects/aVideoEncoderReceiveImage.json.php` only checks the URL path component (via `parse_url($url, PHP_URL_PATH)`) for `..` sequences. However, the downstream function `try_get_contents_from_local()` in `objects/functionsFile.php` uses `explode('/videos/', $url)` on the **full URL string** including the query string. An attacker can place the `/videos/../../` traversal payload in the query string to bypass the security check and read arbitrary files from the server filesystem. Commit bd11c16ec894698e54e2cdae25026c61ad1ed441 contains an updated fix. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41058 | 1 Wwbn | 1 Avideo | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and below, the incomplete fix for AVideo's CloneSite `deleteDump` parameter does not apply path traversal filtering, allowing `unlink()` of arbitrary files via `../../` sequences in the GET parameter. Commit 3c729717c26f160014a5c86b0b6accdbd613e7b2 contains an updated fix. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41009 | 1 Cloud Foundry | 1 Bosh | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.8 MEDIUM |
| When the director sends a long-running request (e.g. compile_package), the agent's reply JSON is consumed by AgentClient. inject_compile_log (line 332-339) reads response['value']['result']['compile_log_id'] and format_exception (line 318-325) reads exception['blobstore_id']; both pass the agent-supplied string unmodified to download_and_delete_blob(blob_id) (line 344-349), which calls @resource_manager.get_resource(blob_id) and, in an ensure block, @resource_manager.delete_resource(blob_id). Api::ResourceManager forwards the id straight to blobstore.get(id) / blobstore.delete(id). When the director is configured with the local blobstore provider, Blobstore::LocalClient#object_file_path(oid) is File.join(@blobstore_path, oid) (local_client.rb:54-56) with no normalisation, so oid = "../../jobs/director/config/director.yml" resolves outside the blobstore root. Affected versions: BOSH Director: All versions prior to v282.1.12 | |||||
| CVE-2026-40923 | 1 Linuxfoundation | 1 Tekton Pipelines | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| Tekton Pipelines project provides k8s-style resources for declaring CI/CD-style pipelines. Starting in version 1.0.0 and prior to versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1, a validation bypass in the VolumeMount path restriction allows mounting volumes under restricted /tekton/ internal paths by using .. path traversal components. The restriction check uses strings.HasPrefix without filepath.Clean, so a path like /tekton/home/../results passes validation but resolves to /tekton/results at runtime. Versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1 fix the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40909 | 1 Wwbn | 1 Avideo | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.7 HIGH |
| WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 29.0 and prior, the locale save endpoint (`locale/save.php`) constructs a file path by directly concatenating `$_POST['flag']` into the path at line 30 without any sanitization. The `$_POST['code']` parameter is then written verbatim to that path via `fwrite()` at line 40. An admin attacker (or any user who can CSRF an admin, since no CSRF token is checked and cookies use `SameSite=None`) can traverse out of the `locale/` directory and write arbitrary `.php` files to any writable location on the filesystem, achieving Remote Code Execution. Commit 57f89ffbc27d37c9d9dd727212334846e78ac21a fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40876 | 1 Goshs | 1 Goshs | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| goshs is a SimpleHTTPServer written in Go. Prior to 2.0.0-beta.6, goshs contains an SFTP root escape caused by prefix-based path validation. An authenticated SFTP user can read from and write to filesystem paths outside the configured SFTP root, which breaks the intended jail boundary and can expose or modify unrelated server files. The SFTP subsystem routes requests through sftpserver/sftpserver.go into DefaultHandler.GetHandler() in sftpserver/handler.go, which forwards file operations into readFile, writeFile, listFile, and cmdFile. All of those sinks rely on sanitizePath() in sftpserver/helper.go. helper.go uses a raw string-prefix comparison, not a directory-boundary check. Because of that, if the configured root is /tmp/goshsroot, then a sibling path such as /tmp/goshsroot_evil/secret.txt incorrectly passes validation since it starts with the same byte prefix. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-beta.6. | |||||

| CVE-2026-40576 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.4 CRITICAL | ||
| excel-mcp-server is a Model Context Protocol server for Excel file manipulation. A path traversal vulnerability exists in excel-mcp-server versions up to and including 0.1.7. When running in SSE or Streamable-HTTP transport mode (the documented way to use this server remotely), an unauthenticated attacker on the network can read, write, and overwrite arbitrary files on the host filesystem by supplying crafted filepath arguments to any of the 25 exposed MCP tool handlers. The server is intended to confine file operations to a directory set by the EXCEL_FILES_PATH environment variable. The function responsible for enforcing this boundary — get_excel_path() — fails to do so due to two independent flaws: it passes absolute paths through without any check, and it joins relative paths without resolving or validating the result. Combined with zero authentication on the default network-facing transport and a default bind address of 0.0.0.0 (all interfaces), this allows trivial remote exploitation. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.1.8. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40491 | 1 Wkentaro | 1 Gdown | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| gdown is a Google Drive public file/folder downloader. Versions prior to 5.2.2 are vulnerable to a Path Traversal attack within the extractall functionality. When extracting a maliciously crafted ZIP or TAR archive, the library fails to sanitize or validate the filenames of the archive members. This allow files to be written outside the intended destination directory, potentially leading to arbitrary file overwrite and Remote Code Execution (RCE). Version 5.2.2 contains a fix. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40342 | 1 Firebirdsql | 1 Firebird | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.9 CRITICAL |
| Firebird is an open-source relational database management system. In versions prior to 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14, the external engine plugin loader concatenates a user-supplied engine name into a filesystem path without filtering path separators or .. components. An authenticated user with CREATE FUNCTION privileges can use a crafted ENGINE name to load an arbitrary shared library from anywhere on the filesystem via path traversal. The library's initialization code executes immediately during loading, before Firebird validates the module, achieving code execution as the server's OS account. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.4, 4.0.7 and 3.0.14. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40258 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL | ||
| The Gramps Web API is a Python REST API for the genealogical research software Gramps. Versions 1.6.0 through 3.11.0 have a path traversal vulnerability (Zip Slip) in the media archive import feature. An authenticated user with owner-level privileges can craft a malicious ZIP file with directory-traversal filenames to write arbitrary files outside the intended temporary extraction directory on the server's local filesystem. Startig in version 3.11.1, ZIP entry names are now validated against the resolved real path of the temporary directory before extraction. Any entry whose resolved path falls outside the temporary directory raises an error and aborts the import. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40256 | 1 Weblate | 1 Weblate | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.0 MEDIUM |
| Weblate is a web based localization tool. In versions prior to 5.17, repository-boundary validation relies on string prefix checks on resolved absolute paths. In multiple code paths, the check uses startswith against the repository root path. This is not path-segment aware and can be bypassed when the external path shares the same string prefix as the repository path (for example, repo and repo_outside). This issue has been fixed in version 5.17. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40180 | 1 Quarkiverse | 1 Quarkus Openapi Generator | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Quarkus OpenAPI Generator is Quarkus' extensions for generation of Rest Clients and server stubs generation. Prior to 2.16.0 and 2.15.0-lts, the unzip() method in ApicurioCodegenWrapper.java extracts ZIP entries without validating that the resolved file path stays within the intended output directory. At line 101, the destination is constructed as new File(toOutputDir, entry.getName()) and the content is written immediately. A malicious ZIP archive containing entries with path traversal sequences (e.g., ../../malicious.java) would write files outside the target directory. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.16.0 and 2.15.0-lts. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40163 | 1 Saltcorn | 1 Saltcorn | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH |
| Saltcorn is an extensible, open source, no-code database application builder. Prior to 1.4.5, 1.5.5, and 1.6.0-beta.4, the POST /sync/offline_changes endpoint allows an unauthenticated attacker to create arbitrary directories and write a changes.json file with attacker-controlled JSON content anywhere on the server filesystem. The GET /sync/upload_finished endpoint allows an unauthenticated attacker to list arbitrary directory contents and read specific JSON files. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.5, 1.5.5, and 1.6.0-beta.4. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40157 | 1 Praison | 1 Praisonai | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to 4.5.128, cmd_unpack in the recipe CLI extracts .praison tar archives using raw tar.extract() without validating archive member paths. A .praison bundle containing ../../ entries will write files outside the intended output directory. An attacker who distributes a malicious bundle can overwrite arbitrary files on the victim's filesystem when they run praisonai recipe unpack. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.128. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40152 | 1 Praison | 1 Praisonaiagents | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| PraisonAIAgents is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to 1.5.128, he list_files() tool in FileTools validates the directory parameter against workspace boundaries via _validate_path(), but passes the pattern parameter directly to Path.glob() without any validation. Since Python's Path.glob() supports .. path segments, an attacker can use relative path traversal in the glob pattern to enumerate arbitrary files outside the workspace, obtaining file metadata (existence, name, size, timestamps) for any path on the filesystem. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.5.128. | |||||
