CVE-2019-15791 2 Canonical, Linux 2 Ubuntu Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 4.6 MEDIUM 7.1 HIGH
In shiftfs, a non-upstream patch to the Linux kernel included in the Ubuntu 5.0 and 5.3 kernel series, shiftfs_btrfs_ioctl_fd_replace() installs an fd referencing a file from the lower filesystem without taking an additional reference to that file. After the btrfs ioctl completes this fd is closed, which then puts a reference to that file, leading to a refcount underflow.
CVE-2019-14523 1 Schismtracker 1 Schism Tracker 2026-06-17 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in Schism Tracker through 20190722. There is an integer underflow via a large plen in fmt_okt_load_song in the Amiga Oktalyzer parser in fmt/okt.c.
CVE-2019-14199 1 Denx 1 U-boot 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
An issue was discovered in Das U-Boot through 2019.07. There is an unbounded memcpy when parsing a UDP packet due to a net_process_received_packet integer underflow during an *udp_packet_handler call.

While parsing Service Descriptor Extended Attribute received as part of SDF frame, there is a possibility that incorrect length is specified in the attribute length field of extended SSI which can lead to integer underflow in Snapdragon Auto, Snapdragon Compute, Snapdragon Connectivity, Snapdragon Consumer Electronics Connectivity, Snapdragon Consumer IOT, Snapdragon Industrial IOT, Snapdragon IoT, Snapdragon Mobile, Snapdragon Voice & Music, Snapdragon Wired Infrastructure and Networking in APQ8009, APQ8053, APQ8096, APQ8098, IPQ6018, IPQ8074, MSM8996AU, MSM8998, Nicobar, QCA6174A, QCA6390, QCA6574AU, QCA8081, QCA9377, QCA9379, QCN7605, QCS404, QCS405, QCS605, Rennell, SC8180X, SDA660, SDA845, SDM630, SDM636, SDM660, SDM670, SDM710, SDM845, SDM850, SDX20, SDX24, SM6150, SM7150, SM8150, SXR1130, SXR2130
CVE-2019-13104 2 Denx, Opensuse 2 U-boot, Leap 2026-06-17 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
In Das U-Boot versions 2016.11-rc1 through 2019.07-rc4, an underflow can cause memcpy() to overwrite a very large amount of data (including the whole stack) while reading a crafted ext4 filesystem.
CVE-2019-10054 1 Suricata-ids 1 Suricata 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An issue was discovered in Suricata 4.1.3. The function process_reply_record_v3 lacks a check for the length of reply.data. It causes an invalid memory access and the program crashes within the nfs/nfs3.rs file.
CVE-2019-10053 1 Suricata-ids 1 Suricata 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
An issue was discovered in Suricata 4.1.x before 4.1.4. If the input of the function SSHParseBanner is composed only of a \n character, then the program runs into a heap-based buffer over-read. This occurs because the erroneous search for \r results in an integer underflow.
CVE-2018-9388 1 Google 1 Android 2026-06-17 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
In store_upgrade and store_cmd of drivers/input/touchscreen/stm/ftm4_pdc.c, there are out of bound writes due to missing bounds checks or integer underflows. These could lead to escalation of privilege.
CVE-2018-7569 2 Gnu, Redhat 4 Binutils, Enterprise Linux Desktop, Enterprise Linux Server and 1 more 2026-06-17 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
dwarf2.c in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.30, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (integer underflow or overflow, and application crash) via an ELF file with a corrupt DWARF FORM block, as demonstrated by nm.
CVE-2018-6612 1 Jhead Project 1 Jhead 2026-06-17 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
An integer underflow bug in the process_EXIF function of the exif.c file of jhead 3.00 raises a heap-based buffer over-read when processing a malicious JPEG file, which may allow a remote attacker to cause a denial-of-service attack or unspecified other impact.
CVE-2018-5865 1 Google 1 Android 2026-06-17 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
While processing a debug log event from firmware in all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel (Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android) before security patch level 2018-07-05, an integer underflow and/or buffer over-read can occur.
CVE-2018-5852 1 Qualcomm 46 Mdm9206, Mdm9206 Firmware, Mdm9607 and 43 more 2026-06-17 N/A 8.4 HIGH
An unsigned integer underflow vulnerability in IPA driver result into a buffer over-read while reading NAT entry using debugfs command 'cat /sys/kernel/debug/ipa/ip4_nat'
CVE-2018-5850 1 Google 1 Android 2026-06-17 9.3 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
In the function csr_update_fils_params_rso(), insufficient validation on a key length can result in an integer underflow leading to a buffer overflow in all Android releases from CAF (Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android) using the Linux Kernel.
CVE-2018-4011 1 Getcujo 1 Smart Firewall 2026-06-17 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
An exploitable integer underflow vulnerability exists in the mdnscap binary of the CUJO Smart Firewall, version 7003. When parsing SRV records in an mDNS packet, the "RDLENGTH" value is handled incorrectly, leading to an out-of-bounds access that crashes the mdnscap process. An unauthenticated attacker can send an mDNS message to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2018-3999 1 Atlantiswordprocessor 1 Atlantis Word Processor 2026-06-17 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
An exploitable stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the JPEG parser of Atlantis Word Processor, version 3.2.5.0. A specially crafted image embedded within a document can cause a length to be miscalculated and underflow. This length is then treated as unsigned and then used in a copying operation. Due to the length underflow, the application will then write outside the bounds of a stack buffer, resulting in a buffer overflow. An attacker must convince a victim to open a document in order to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2018-3926 1 Samsung 2 Sth-eth-250, Sth-eth-250 Firmware 2026-06-17 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
An exploitable integer underflow vulnerability exists in the ZigBee firmware update routine of the hubCore binary of the Samsung SmartThings Hub STH-ETH-250 - Firmware version 0.20.17. The hubCore process incorrectly handles malformed files existing in its data directory, leading to an infinite loop, which eventually causes the process to crash. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2018-21065 1 Google 1 Android 2026-06-17 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
An issue was discovered on Samsung mobile devices with M(6.0), N(7.x), and O(8.x) software. There is an integer underflow in eCryptFS because of a missing size check. The Samsung ID is SVE-2017-11855 (August 2018).
