| CVE-2026-9496 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Versions of the package pacote from 11.2.7 and before 21.5.1 are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) via the addGitSha function. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a specially crafted spec.rawSpec value that triggers the function’s regex replacement and string-manipulation logic, causing excessive CPU consumption and potentially stalling or crashing the process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-52778 | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, an unsafe execution vulnerability exists in the Bazar form field calculator (CalcField.php) of YesWiki. The application attempts to sanitize user-defined mathematical formulas using a complex recursive regular expression before passing them to the PHP eval() function. This implementation is inherently flawed: it is vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS / Stack Overflow) which can crash the server, and it creates a high-risk architecture where any logic bypass directly results in arbitrary PHP code execution. Version 4.6.6 patches the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42567 | 1 Svelte | 1 Svelte | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Svelte is a performance oriented web framework. From version 5.51.5 to before version 5.55.7, an internal regex in the Svelte runtime can take exponential time to test in <svelte:element this={tag}></svelte:element>. This issue has been patched in version 5.55.7. | |||||
| CVE-2026-41848 | 1 Vmware | 1 Spring Framework | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 3.7 LOW |
| Applications may be vulnerable to a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attack if an attacker is able to provide a pattern which is then directly or indirectly supplied to one of the following methods in AntPathMatcher: match(String pattern, String path), matchStart(String pattern, String path), extractUriTemplateVariables(String pattern, String path). Affected versions: Spring Framework 7.0.0 through 7.0.7; 6.2.0 through 6.2.18; 6.1.0 through 6.1.27; 5.3.0 through 5.3.48. | |||||
| CVE-2026-11478 | 2026-07-23 | 1.7 LOW | 3.3 LOW | ||
| A flaw has been found in kokke tiny-regex-c up to f2632c6d9ed25272987471cdb8b70395c2460bdb. This vulnerability affects the function matchstar of the file re.c of the component Pattern Handler. This manipulation causes inefficient regular expression complexity. The attack is restricted to local execution. The exploit has been published and may be used. This product adopts a rolling release strategy to maintain continuous delivery. Therefore, version details for affected or updated releases cannot be specified. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45409 | 1 Kjd | 1 Internationalized Domain Names In Applications | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Internationalized Domain Names in Applications (IDNA) for Python provides support for Internationalized Domain Names in Applications (IDNA) and Unicode IDNA Compatibility Processing. In versions prior to 3.15, payloads such as `"\u0660" * N` or `"\u30fb" * N + "\u6f22"` utilize the `valid_contexto` function prior to length rejection, and for high values of `N` will take a long time to process. This is the same issue as CVE-2024-3651, however the original remediation in 2024 was not a complete fix. A specially crafted argument to the `idna.encode()` function could consume significant resources. This may lead to a denial-of-service. Starting in version 3.14, the function rejects long inputs as soon as practicable prior to any further processing to minimize resource consumption. In version 3.15, this approach was extended to lesser used alternate functions (i.e. per-label conversions and codec support). A workaround is available. Domain names cannot exceed 253 characters in length. If this length limit is enforced prior to passing the domain to the `idna.encode()` function, it should no longer consume significant resources. This is triggered by arbitrarily large inputs that would not occur in normal usage, but may be passed to the library assuming there is no preliminary input validation by the higher-level application. | |||||
| CVE-2026-16270 | 2026-07-22 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Open Mercato does not validate regex rules. An attacker with privileges to create the regex rule can add an unsafe regex to a field. When someone provide the proper string it can result in a DoS attack. This issue was fixed in version 0.6.4. | |||||
| CVE-2026-8888 | 1 Securly | 1 Securly | 2026-07-22 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Version 3.0.7 of the Securly Chrome Extension downloads config.json over HTTP and compiles server-provided patterns as JavaScript regular expressions via new RegExp() without complexity validation. An on-path attacker can inject specific patterns to cause catastrophic backtracking, resulting in denial of service on all browsing. | |||||
| CVE-2026-10692 | 2026-07-22 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 4.3 MEDIUM | ||
| A weakness has been identified in johnhuang316 code-index-mcp up to 2.14.0. Affected is the function is_safe_regex_pattern of the component search_code_advanced. Executing a manipulation of the argument regex can lead to inefficient regular expression complexity. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 2.14.1 is able to address this issue. This patch is called 25bc02fac74051ddae15ce79e952f00211b1ea6b. Upgrading the affected component is recommended. | |||||

| A security vulnerability has been detected in Enderfga claw-orchestrator up to 3.7.0. The impacted element is the function validateRegex of the file claw-orchestrator/src/embedded-server.ts of the component Session Grep Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument body.pattern leads to inefficient regular expression complexity. The attack may be initiated remotely. Upgrading to version 3.7.1 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The identifier of the patch is 3f970a974c65a94555c25af9f2796f11315e4584. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45756 | 1 Sensiolabs | 1 Symfony | 2026-07-21 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 7.3.0-BETA1 until 7.4.12 and 8.0.12, the JsonPath component compiles attacker-controlled match() and search() filter patterns directly into preg_match() without a length cap, i-regexp restriction, or bounded backtracking, allowing catastrophic-backtracking expressions to pin worker CPU and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 7.4.12 and 8.0.12. | |||||
| CVE-2026-62237 | 2026-07-21 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Grav before 2.0.4 contains a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) vulnerability in the regex_replace filter and function, which are allowlisted in the Twig content sandbox. When Twig processing in page content is enabled (security.twig_content.process_enabled: true, disabled by default), an authenticated page editor can supply a catastrophically backtracking PCRE pattern that is passed directly to PHP's preg_replace(), causing unbounded CPU consumption and denial of service to the web server process. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45367 | 2026-07-18 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.7, the FHIRPathEngine implementation passes user-controlled regular expressions from matches(), matchesFull(), and replaceMatches() to Java regex operations without effective timeouts, allowing catastrophic backtracking and denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.7. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55470 | 1 Hapifhir | 1 Hl7 Fhir Core | 2026-07-16 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.10, the fix for CVE-2026-45367 incompletely patched the DSTU2 module, leaving FHIRPathEngine.matches() in org.hl7.fhir.dstu2/utils/FHIRPathEngine.java to call raw String.matches(sw) without RegexTimeout protection while replaceMatches() was updated, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to trigger catastrophic regex backtracking and exhaust server CPU. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.10. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45305 | 1 Sensiolabs | 1 Symfony | 2026-07-15 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, Symfony\Component\Yaml\Parser::cleanup() used regular expressions with overlapping quantifiers for YAML directive, comment, and document marker cleanup, allowing crafted input to make parsing hang for an arbitrarily long time. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45133 | 1 Sensiolabs | 1 Symfony | 2026-07-15 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, when the parser is exposed to attacker-controlled input, deeply nested mappings or sequences cause both the block-level (Parser::parseBlock()) and inline (Inline::parseSequence() / Inline::parseMapping()) parsers to recurse without a depth limit. A crafted document exhausts the PHP stack and crashes the worker. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12. | |||||
| CVE-2026-24001 | 1 Kpdecker | 1 Jsdiff | 2026-07-15 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| jsdiff is a JavaScript text differencing implementation. Prior to versions 8.0.3, 5.2.2, 4.0.4, and 3.5.1, attempting to parse a patch whose filename headers contain the line break characters `\r`, `\u2028`, or `\u2029` can cause the `parsePatch` method to enter an infinite loop. It then consumes memory without limit until the process crashes due to running out of memory. Applications are therefore likely to be vulnerable to a denial-of-service attack if they call `parsePatch` with a user-provided patch as input. A large payload is not needed to trigger the vulnerability, so size limits on user input do not provide any protection. Furthermore, some applications may be vulnerable even when calling `parsePatch` on a patch generated by the application itself if the user is nonetheless able to control the filename headers (e.g. by directly providing the filenames of the files to be diffed). The `applyPatch` method is similarly affected if (and only if) called with a string representation of a patch as an argument, since under the hood it parses that string using `parsePatch`. Other methods of the library are unaffected. Finally, a second and lesser interdependent bug - a ReDOS - also exhibits when those same line break characters are present in a patch's *patch* header (also known as its "leading garbage"). A maliciously-crafted patch header of length *n* can take `parsePatch` O(*n*³) time to parse. Versions 8.0.3, 5.2.2, 4.0.4, and 3.5.1 contain a fix. As a workaround, do not attempt to parse patches that contain any of these characters: `\r`, `\u2028`, or `\u2029`. | |||||
| CVE-2026-58578 | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| LobeChat before version 2.2.10-canary.15 contains a regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to block the Node.js event loop by supplying a catastrophic-backtracking pattern in a GitHub repository URL path during skill import. Attackers can craft a malicious basePath value containing unescaped regex metacharacters such as catastrophic-backtracking patterns, which are injected into a dynamically constructed regular expression in the findSkillMd function and executed synchronously against archive entries, denying service to all concurrent users for tens of seconds per request. | |||||
| CVE-2024-58340 | 1 Langchain | 1 Langchain | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| LangChain versions up to and including 0.3.1 contain a regular expression denial-of-service (ReDoS) vulnerability in the MRKLOutputParser.parse() method (libs/langchain/langchain/agents/mrkl/output_parser.py). The parser applies a backtracking-prone regular expression when extracting tool actions from model output. An attacker who can supply or influence the parsed text (for example via prompt injection in downstream applications that pass LLM output directly into MRKLOutputParser.parse()) can trigger excessive CPU consumption by providing a crafted payload, causing significant parsing delays and a denial-of-service condition. | |||||
