CVE-2026-49509 2026-09-08 N/A 4.4 MEDIUM
Out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Samsung Opensource rLottie allows Overread Buffers. This issue affects rLottie: 25648aef19187b3f87f4d9420b8d761453ad4630.
CVE-2026-85769 2026-09-08 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in libtpms, a library that provides software TPM 2.0 emulation. When restoring TPM 2.0 state (for example during a virtual machine's power-on or state/migration restore), a malformed state blob can supply an oversized skip-block length that is not validated against the remaining size of the input buffer. This can drive an internal size counter negative, which bypasses a subsequent bounds check due to an unsafe signed-to-unsigned conversion, causing the parser to read memory outside the bounds of the heap buffer holding the state data. Successful exploitation can crash the process hosting libtpms (such as swtpm), resulting in a denial of service of the emulated TPM device and the virtual machine that depends on it. No data corruption or information disclosure was confirmed.
CVE-2026-20518 2026-09-08 N/A 4.4 MEDIUM
In geniezone, there is a possible information disclosure due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local information disclosure if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS10867524 / ALPS10876355; Issue ID: MSV-6674.
CVE-2026-85052 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-09-08 N/A 3.1 LOW
Out of bounds read in CrashReporting in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.82 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to read memory outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2025-5318 2 Libssh, Redhat 3 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform 2026-09-08 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the libssh library in versions less than 0.11.2. An out-of-bounds read can be triggered in the sftp_handle function due to an incorrect comparison check that permits the function to access memory beyond the valid handle list and to return an invalid pointer, which is used in further processing. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker to potentially read unintended memory regions, exposing sensitive information or affect service behavior.
CVE-2026-16234 1 Ni 1 Labview 2026-09-08 N/A 7.8 HIGH
There is a memory corruption vulnerability recently discovered in NI LabVIEW that may result in information disclosure or arbitrary code execution.  Successful exploitation requires an attacker to get a user to open a specially crafted VI.  This vulnerability affects NI LabVIEW 2026 Q3 (26.3.0) and prior versions.
CVE-2026-67301 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-09-08 N/A 7.5 HIGH
FreeRDP before 3.29.0 contains out-of-bounds read vulnerabilities in the async update message proxy for the PolygonSC and PolygonCB primary drawing orders. When AsyncUpdate is enabled (e.g., xfreerdp /async-update), update_message_PolygonSC() and update_message_PolygonCB() allocate a fresh points array but copy point data from the address of the order structure instead of from polygonSC->points / polygonCB->points, resulting in a client-side out-of-bounds read. A malicious or compromised RDP server sending crafted PolygonSC/PolygonCB update orders can trigger memory disclosure or a client crash.
CVE-2026-86288 2026-09-08 7.5 HIGH 6.3 MEDIUM
A vulnerability has been found in ModelCloud GPTQModel up to 7.2.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file gptqmodel/nn_modules/qlinear/tritonv2.py of the component Triton dequantization kernel. Such manipulation of the argument g_idx leads to out-of-bounds read. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 7.3.0 is able to resolve this issue. The name of the patch is 877c732f7d7dccd56a729844c6a5bd20f3aa8bb1. Upgrading the affected component is recommended.
CVE-2025-15647 2026-09-08 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
CDT before 1.4.5 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the opposedVertexInd() function when constraint edge intersections are computed in floating point and round outside adjacent triangles. Attackers can supply nearly-degenerate constraint edges through geometry data to trigger an out-of-bounds array access that crashes the calling process.
CVE-2026-67306 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-09-08 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
FreeRDP versions 3.28.0 and earlier contain an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the RDP6 planar RLE bitmap decoder functions planar_decompress_plane_rle and planar_decompress_plane_rle_only in libfreerdp/codec/planar.c. Only the 1-byte control byte is bounds-checked; the subsequent 0–15 attacker-declared raw bytes are read without validating that the source buffer contains them. A malicious or compromised RDP server can send a truncated planar-encoded bitmap or surface update (reachable via both the Bitmap Update PDU and RDPGFX Surface Command paths) that causes the client to read past the end of the source buffer. The issue is fixed in FreeRDP 3.29.0.
CVE-2026-86303 2026-09-08 7.5 HIGH 7.3 HIGH

CVE-2026-64411 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ebtables: terminate table name before find_table_lock() update_counters() and compat_update_counters() forward a user-supplied 32-byte table name to find_table_lock() without NUL-terminating it. On a lookup miss, find_inlist_lock() calls try_then_request_module(..., "%s%s", "ebtable_", name), and vsnprintf() reads past the name field and the stack object until it hits a zero byte. CVE-2026-64317 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: isofs: bound Rock Ridge symlink components to the SL record get_symlink_chunk() and the SL handling in parse_rock_ridge_inode_internal() walk the variable-length components of a Rock Ridge "SL" (symbolic link) record. Each component is a two-byte header (flags, len) followed by len bytes of text, so it occupies slp->len + 2 bytes. Both loops read slp->len and advance to the next component, and get_symlink_chunk() additionally does memcpy(rpnt, slp->text, slp->len), but neither checks that the component lies within the SL record before dereferencing it. A crafted SL record whose component declares a len that runs past the record (rr->len) therefore triggers an out-of-bounds read of up to 255 bytes. When the record sits at the tail of its backing buffer - for example a small kmalloc()ed continuation block reached through a CE record - the read crosses the allocation; get_symlink_chunk() then copies the out-of-bounds bytes into the symlink body returned to user space by readlink(), disclosing adjacent kernel memory. ISO 9660 images are routinely mounted from untrusted removable media - desktop environments auto-mount them (e.g. via udisks2) without CAP_SYS_ADMIN - so the record contents are attacker-controlled. Reject any component that does not fit in the remaining record bytes before using it. In get_symlink_chunk() return NULL, like the existing output-buffer (plimit) checks, so a malformed record makes readlink() fail with -EIO rather than silently returning a truncated target; in parse_rock_ridge_inode_internal() stop the inode-size walk.
CVE-2026-53268 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 N/A 8.2 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack_irc: fix possible out-of-bounds read When parsing fails after we've matched the command string we should bail out instead of trying to match a different command. This helper should be deprecated, given prevalence of TLS I doubt it has any relevance in 2026.
CVE-2026-52999 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nfnetlink_osf: fix out-of-bounds read on option matching In nf_osf_match(), the nf_osf_hdr_ctx structure is initialized once and passed by reference to nf_osf_match_one() for each fingerprint checked. During TCP option parsing, nf_osf_match_one() advances the shared ctx->optp pointer. If a fingerprint perfectly matches, the function returns early without restoring ctx->optp to its initial state. If the user has configured NF_OSF_LOGLEVEL_ALL, the loop continues to the next fingerprint. However, because ctx->optp was not restored, the next call to nf_osf_match_one() starts parsing from the end of the options buffer. This causes subsequent matches to read garbage data and fail immediately, making it impossible to log more than one match or logging incorrect matches. Instead of using a shared ctx->optp pointer, pass the context as a constant pointer and use a local pointer (optp) for TCP option traversal. This makes nf_osf_match_one() strictly stateless from the caller's perspective, ensuring every fingerprint check starts at the correct option offset.
CVE-2026-52942 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_log: validate MAC header was set before dumping it The fallback path of dump_mac_header() guards the MAC header access only with "skb->mac_header != skb->network_header", without checking skb_mac_header_was_set(). When the MAC header is unset, mac_header is 0xffff, so the test passes and skb_mac_header(skb) returns skb->head + 0xffff, ~64 KiB past the buffer; the loop then reads dev->hard_header_len bytes out of bounds into the kernel log. This is reachable via the netdev logger: nf_log_unknown_packet() calls dump_mac_header() unconditionally, and an skb sent through AF_PACKET with PACKET_QDISC_BYPASS reaches the egress hook with mac_header still unset (__dev_queue_xmit(), which would reset it, is bypassed). Add the skb_mac_header_was_set() check the ARPHRD_ETHER path already uses, and replace the open-coded MAC header length test with skb_mac_header_len(). Only skbs with an unset MAC header are affected; valid ones are dumped as before. BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in dump_mac_header (net/netfilter/nf_log_syslog.c:831) Read of size 1 at addr ffff88800ea49d3f by task exploit/148 Call Trace: kasan_report (mm/kasan/report.c:595) dump_mac_header (net/netfilter/nf_log_syslog.c:831) nf_log_netdev_packet (net/netfilter/nf_log_syslog.c:938 net/netfilter/nf_log_syslog.c:963) nf_log_packet (net/netfilter/nf_log.c:260) nft_log_eval (net/netfilter/nft_log.c:60) nft_do_chain (net/netfilter/nf_tables_core.c:285) nft_do_chain_netdev (net/netfilter/nft_chain_filter.c:307) nf_hook_slow (net/netfilter/core.c:619) nf_hook_direct_egress (net/packet/af_packet.c:257) packet_xmit (net/packet/af_packet.c:280) packet_sendmsg (net/packet/af_packet.c:3114) __sys_sendto (net/socket.c:2265)
CVE-2026-52910 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Free reuseport cBPF prog after RCU grace period. Eulgyu Kim reported the splat below with a repro. [0] The repro sets up a UDP reuseport group with a cBPF prog and replaces it with a new one while another thread is sending a UDP packet to the group. The reuseport prog is freed by sk_reuseport_prog_free(). bpf_prog_put() is called for "e"BPF prog to destruct through multiple stages while cBPF prog is freed immediately by bpf_release_orig_filter() and bpf_prog_free(). If a reuseport prog is detached from the setsockopt() path (reuseport_attach_prog() or reuseport_detach_prog()), sk_reuseport_prog_free() is called without waiting for RCU readers to complete, resulting in various bugs. Let's defer freeing the reuseport cBPF prog after one RCU grace period. Note "e"BPF prog is safe as is unless the fast path starts to touch fields destroyed in bpf_prog_put_deferred() and __bpf_prog_put_noref(). CVE-2026-46033 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-08 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: authencesn - reject short ahash digests during instance creation authencesn requires either a zero authsize or an authsize of at least 4 bytes because the ESN encrypt/decrypt paths always move 4 bytes of high-order sequence number data at the end of the authenticated data. While crypto_authenc_esn_setauthsize() already rejects explicit non-zero authsizes in the range 1..3, crypto_authenc_esn_create() still copied auth->digestsize into inst->alg.maxauthsize without validating it. The AEAD core then initialized the tfm's default authsize from that value. As a result, selecting an ahash with digest size 1..3, such as cbcmac(cipher_null), exposed authencesn instances whose default authsize was invalid even though setauthsize() would have rejected the same value. AF_ALG could then trigger the ESN tail handling with a too-short tag and hit an out-of-bounds access. Reject authencesn instances whose ahash digest size is in the invalid non-zero range 1..3 so that no tfm can inherit an unsupported default authsize.
