CVE-2024-6832 1 Wso2 8 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Identity Server and 5 more 2026-10-27 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
The account locking mechanism fails to trigger when secondary user stores are inaccessible. The software does not maintain a consistent state for account locking if it cannot reach all configured user stores, allowing an attacker to repeatedly attempt authentication with invalid credentials without triggering the lockout mechanism for users within active stores. When the account locking mechanism is bypassed due to the inaccessibility of secondary user stores, users in accessible user stores are left vulnerable to brute force attacks. A malicious actor can exploit this by attempting numerous invalid password combinations against a user account without the expected account lockout consequence.
CVE-2024-8995 1 Wso2 8 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Identity Server and 5 more 2026-10-27 N/A 4.9 MEDIUM
Unused authorization codes issued to deleted users are not being properly invalidated or removed from the system. This allows for the persistence of these codes, enabling them to be potentially reused. If an attacker possesses both the authorization code and the associated client credentials (client ID and client secret), they can leverage these unused codes to obtain access tokens on behalf of users who have already been deleted. This may lead to unauthorized access to sensitive resources and services, contingent on the scopes originally authorized for the compromised authorization code.
CVE-2024-10302 1 Wso2 7 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Identity Server and 4 more 2026-10-27 N/A 4.0 MEDIUM
The user self-signup flow in multiple WSO2 products fails to adequately validate user-supplied input. This weakness allows arbitrary unvalidated data to be included within user claims, which are then used by downstream processes. Allowing unvalidated input into user claims can lead to various security risks. Malicious or malformed data injected during signup could be processed by other parts of the application, potentially enabling attacks such as content manipulation, redirection, user interface inconsistencies, unauthorized actions, and data exposure. The actual impact depends on how the compromised data is consumed and the privileges associated with the affected users.
CVE-2026-2053 1 Wso2 1 Api Manager 2026-10-25 N/A 8.3 HIGH
The WSO2 API Manager's message flow component, when processing WS-Addressing headers, does not sufficiently validate or restrict user-controlled input within these headers. This omission allows an attacker to manipulate WS-Addressing headers to specify arbitrary destinations for server-initiated requests. Successful exploitation allows an unauthenticated attacker to control the destination of server-initiated requests originating from the WSO2 API Manager. This direct control can enable unauthorized access to internal network resources or services that would typically be inaccessible from external networks.
CVE-2025-12737 1 Wso2 8 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Identity Server and 5 more 2026-10-19 N/A 8.4 HIGH
The administrative operations within the Carbon Console do not adequately validate specific user-supplied input. This oversight allows a malicious actor with administrative privileges to inject and execute arbitrary code remotely. Successful exploitation enables a threat actor with administrative privileges and Carbon Console access to execute remote arbitrary code through specific administrative operations, leading to a complete compromise of the affected system.
CVE-2025-9152 1 Wso2 2 Api Control Plane, Api Manager 2026-10-18 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
An improper privilege management vulnerability exists in WSO2 API Manager due to missing authentication and authorization checks in the keymanager-operations Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) endpoint. A malicious user can exploit this flaw to generate access tokens with elevated privileges, potentially leading to administrative access and the ability to perform unauthorized operations.
CVE-2025-5770 1 Wso2 3 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Identity Server 2026-10-18 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the authentication endpoints of multiple WSO2 products due to a lack of output encoding. A malicious actor can inject arbitrary JavaScript payloads into the authentication endpoint, which are reflected back in the response, enabling browser-based attacks. Exploitation may result in redirection to malicious websites, UI manipulation, or unauthorized data access from the victim’s browser. However, session-related cookies are protected with the httpOnly flag, which mitigates session hijacking via this vector.
CVE-2025-4760 1 Wso2 4 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Traffic Manager and 1 more 2026-10-18 N/A 4.8 MEDIUM
An authenticated stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to improper validation of user-supplied input during API document upload in the Publisher portal. A user with publisher privileges can upload a crafted API document containing malicious JavaScript, which is later rendered in the browser when accessed by other users. A successful attack could result in redirection to malicious websites, unauthorized UI modifications, or exfiltration of browser-accessible data. However, session-related sensitive cookies are protected by the httpOnly flag, preventing session hijacking.
CVE-2025-5717 1 Wso2 4 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Open Banking Am and 1 more 2026-10-18 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
An authenticated remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to improper input validation in the event processor admin service. A user with administrative access to the SOAP admin services can exploit this flaw by deploying a Siddhi execution plan containing malicious Java code, resulting in arbitrary code execution on the server. Exploitation of this vulnerability requires a valid user account with administrative privileges, limiting the attack surface to authenticated but potentially malicious users.
CVE-2024-8008 1 Wso2 6 Api Manager, Enterprise Integrator, Identity Server and 3 more 2026-10-16 N/A 5.2 MEDIUM
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to insufficient output encoding in error messages generated by the JDBC user store connection validation request. A malicious actor can inject a specially crafted payload into the request, causing the browser to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the vulnerable page. This vulnerability may allow UI manipulation, redirection to malicious websites, or data exfiltration from the browser. However, since all session-related sensitive cookies are protected with the httpOnly flag, session hijacking is not possible.
CVE-2025-8325 1 Wso2 4 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Traffic Manager and 1 more 2026-10-14 N/A 6.3 MEDIUM
The software fails to enforce role-based access controls for certain Gateway API invocations. Users with the 'Internal/Everyone' role can invoke these APIs, bypassing intended permission checks. This same vulnerability also affects Internal Service APIs, potentially exposing them in WSO2 APIM 3.x versions. A malicious actor with a valid user account on a vulnerable deployment can perform sensitive operations against the Gateway REST API regardless of their actual roles or privileges. This could lead to unintended behavior or misuse, particularly in production environments.
CVE-2025-8154 1 Wso2 4 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Traffic Manager and 1 more 2026-10-14 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
In Webhook API invocations, the component accepts user-supplied input for HTTP request headers without sufficient validation or sanitization, allowing these headers to be injected into HTTP responses. By exploiting this vulnerability, a malicious actor can inject or overwrite arbitrary HTTP response headers. This can lead to various adverse effects, including the manipulation of browser caching, alteration of security-related headers, and the injection of sensitive information such as cookie values, potentially enabling session hijacking or other malicious activities.
CVE-2025-6024 1 Wso2 2 Api Manager, Identity Server 2026-10-14 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
The authentication endpoint fails to encode user-supplied input before rendering it in the web page, allowing for script injection. An attacker can leverage this by injecting malicious scripts into the authentication endpoint. This can result in the user's browser being redirected to a malicious website, manipulation of the web page's user interface, or the retrieval of information from the browser. However, session hijacking is not possible due to the httpOnly flag protecting session-related cookies.
CVE-2025-8591 1 Wso2 8 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Identity Server and 5 more 2026-10-06 N/A 6.1 MEDIUM
The software accepts user-supplied input via a URL parameter without adequate output encoding before reflecting it back to the user's browser. This condition allows an attacker to inject malicious script content into pages served by the application. By leveraging this weakness, an attacker can cause the user's browser to redirect to a malicious website, modify the UI of the webpage, or retrieve information from the browser. However, the impact is mitigated by the use of httpOnly flags on session-related cookies, preventing session hijacking.
CVE-2025-13475 1 Wso2 2 Api Manager, Identity Server 2026-10-06 N/A 3.5 LOW
In multi-tenanted deployments, the application consent management mechanism fails to correctly isolate consent scopes between tenants. Consent granted by a user for a specific SaaS application within one tenant can be incorrectly applied to SaaS applications with the same name in other tenants, leading to unintended cross-tenant consent sharing. This vulnerability may result in the exposure of user data across tenants, enabling SaaS applications in different tenants to access and modify information without explicit user authorization. This can lead to unauthorized data access and privacy violations. This vulnerability has no impact if the deployment does not support multi-tenancy.
CVE-2025-13736 1 Wso2 5 Api Manager, Identity Server, Identity Server As Key Manager and 2 more 2026-09-29 N/A 3.7 LOW
When Multi-Attribute Login is enabled, the login interface fails to consistently mask the existence of user accounts. For valid users, the server resolves and displays their canonical username, while for non-existent users, it echoes the original input. This occurs regardless of the validate_username configuration. The discovery of valid usernames can increase the risk of brute force attacks, social engineering attacks, and targeted information leakage. Attackers can leverage this information to craft more effective phishing campaigns or social engineering tactics to compromise user accounts or extract sensitive data.
CVE-2025-13394 1 Wso2 9 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Enterprise Integrator and 6 more 2026-09-29 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
The Ajax processor within the Carbon console fails to adequately protect state-changing operations from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. Specifically, it utilizes the HTTP GET method for these operations, and while the SameSite=Lax cookie attribute is employed for mitigation, this mechanism is bypassed as it permits cookies to be sent with cross-origin top-level navigation requests, including GET requests. This allows an attacker to trick an authenticated user's browser into unknowingly executing unintended actions. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform unauthorized state-altering requests on behalf of authenticated users. This could lead to consequences such as data modification, account changes, or other actions that could result in data compromise or loss of user control over their account. However, this attack is only feasible if the Carbon console and related services are exposed to the public internet, which is not recommended according to WSO2's security guidelines.
CVE-2025-15039 1 Wso2 9 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Identity Server and 6 more 2026-09-29 N/A 9.4 CRITICAL
The Conditional Authentication (Adaptive Authentication) script does not correctly enforce the completion of all required authentication steps when a specific multi-step pattern involving certain authenticators is configured. This allows an attacker to bypass intermediate authentication challenges by exploiting how the script handles callbacks and re-execution of authentication steps. Successful exploitation allows a malicious actor to gain unauthorized access to a targeted user account. This vulnerability can only be exploited when all of the following conditions are met: the application login flow contains a specific secondary authenticator, the Conditional Authentication script is configured with particular event callbacks and re-executes an authentication step, the targeted user has one of the impacted authenticators enrolled, and the attacker successfully completes any preceding authentication steps.
CVE-2025-9804 1 Wso2 15 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Api Manager Analytics and 12 more 2026-09-26 N/A 9.6 CRITICAL
An improper access control vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to insufficient permission enforcement in certain internal SOAP Admin Services and System REST APIs. A low-privileged user may exploit this flaw to perform unauthorized operations, including accessing server-level information. This vulnerability affects only internal administrative interfaces. APIs exposed through the WSO2 API Manager's API Gateway remain unaffected.
CVE-2026-5430 1 Wso2 4 Api Control Plane, Api Manager, Traffic Manager and 1 more 2026-09-25 N/A 10.0 CRITICAL
The JWT authentication mechanism accepts tokens signed with algorithms other than those explicitly configured or supported. This allows an attacker to craft a JWT with an unsupported algorithm, which is then incorrectly validated, leading to unauthorized access. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in unauthorized access to the system, including the potential compromise of administrative accounts and full account takeover. The CVSS score is adjusted to 9.8 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H) in single-tenant deployments, reflecting that the impact is contained within a single security authority boundary.
