CVE-2023-52926 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: IORING_OP_READ did not correctly consume the provided buffer list when read i/o returned < 0 (except for -EAGAIN and -EIOCBQUEUED return). This can lead to a potential use-after-free when the completion via io_rw_done runs at separate context.
CVE-2023-52925 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: don't fail inserts if duplicate has expired nftables selftests fail: run-tests.sh testcases/sets/0044interval_overlap_0 Expected: 0-2 . 0-3, got: W: [FAILED] ./testcases/sets/0044interval_overlap_0: got 1 Insertion must ignore duplicate but expired entries. Moreover, there is a strange asymmetry in nft_pipapo_activate: It refetches the current element, whereas the other ->activate callbacks (bitmap, hash, rhash, rbtree) use elem->priv. Same for .remove: other set implementations take elem->priv, nft_pipapo_remove fetches elem->priv, then does a relookup, remove this. I suspect this was the reason for the change that prompted the removal of the expired check in pipapo_get() in the first place, but skipping exired elements there makes no sense to me, this helper is used for normal get requests, insertions (duplicate check) and deactivate callback. In first two cases expired elements must be skipped. For ->deactivate(), this gets called for DELSETELEM, so it seems to me that expired elements should be skipped as well, i.e. delete request should fail with -ENOENT error.
CVE-2023-52924 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: don't skip expired elements during walk There is an asymmetry between commit/abort and preparation phase if the following conditions are met: 1. set is a verdict map ("1.2.3.4 : jump foo") 2. timeouts are enabled In this case, following sequence is problematic: 1. element E in set S refers to chain C 2. userspace requests removal of set S 3. kernel does a set walk to decrement chain->use count for all elements from preparation phase 4. kernel does another set walk to remove elements from the commit phase (or another walk to do a chain->use increment for all elements from abort phase) If E has already expired in 1), it will be ignored during list walk, so its use count won't have been changed. Then, when set is culled, ->destroy callback will zap the element via nf_tables_set_elem_destroy(), but this function is only safe for elements that have been deactivated earlier from the preparation phase: lack of earlier deactivate removes the element but leaks the chain use count, which results in a WARN splat when the chain gets removed later, plus a leak of the nft_chain structure. Update pipapo_get() not to skip expired elements, otherwise flush command reports bogus ENOENT errors.

CVE-2023-52918 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: pci: cx23885: check cx23885_vdev_init() return cx23885_vdev_init() can return a NULL pointer, but that pointer is used in the next line without a check. Add a NULL pointer check and go to the error unwind if it is NULL.
CVE-2023-52915 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: dvb-usb-v2: af9035: Fix null-ptr-deref in af9035_i2c_master_xfer In af9035_i2c_master_xfer, msg is controlled by user. When msg[i].buf is null and msg[i].len is zero, former checks on msg[i].buf would be passed. Malicious data finally reach af9035_i2c_master_xfer. If accessing msg[i].buf[0] without sanity check, null ptr deref would happen. We add check on msg[i].len to prevent crash. Similar commit: commit 0ed554fd769a ("media: dvb-usb: az6027: fix null-ptr-deref in az6027_i2c_xfer()")
CVE-2023-52914 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/poll: add hash if ready poll request can't complete inline If we don't, then we may lose access to it completely, leading to a request leak. This will eventually stall the ring exit process as well.

CVE-2023-52906 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_mpls: Fix warning during failed attribute validation The 'TCA_MPLS_LABEL' attribute is of 'NLA_U32' type, but has a validation type of 'NLA_VALIDATE_FUNCTION'. This is an invalid combination according to the comment above 'struct nla_policy': " Meaning of `validate' field, use via NLA_POLICY_VALIDATE_FN: NLA_BINARY Validation function called for the attribute. All other Unused - but note that it's a union " This can trigger the warning [1] in nla_get_range_unsigned() when validation of the attribute fails. Despite being of 'NLA_U32' type, the associated 'min'/'max' fields in the policy are negative as they are aliased by the 'validate' field. Fix by changing the attribute type to 'NLA_BINARY' which is consistent with the above comment and all other users of NLA_POLICY_VALIDATE_FN(). As a result, move the length validation to the validation function. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: xhci: Check endpoint is valid before dereferencing it When the host controller is not responding, all URBs queued to all endpoints need to be killed. This can cause a kernel panic if we dereference an invalid endpoint. Fix this by using xhci_get_virt_ep() helper to find the endpoint and checking if the endpoint is valid before dereferencing it. CVE-2023-52900 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nilfs2: fix general protection fault in nilfs_btree_insert() If nilfs2 reads a corrupted disk image and tries to reads a b-tree node block by calling __nilfs_btree_get_block() against an invalid virtual block address, it returns -ENOENT because conversion of the virtual block address to a disk block address fails. However, this return value is the same as the internal code that b-tree lookup routines return to indicate that the block being searched does not exist, so functions that operate on that b-tree may misbehave. When nilfs_btree_insert() receives this spurious 'not found' code from nilfs_btree_do_lookup(), it misunderstands that the 'not found' check was successful and continues the insert operation using incomplete lookup path data, causing the following crash: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xdffffc0000000005: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP KASAN KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000028-0x000000000000002f] ... By returning -EINVAL, it propagates without glitches, and for all relevant b-tree operations, functions in the upper bmap layer output an error message indicating corrupted b-tree metadata via nilfs_bmap_convert_error(), and code -EIO will be eventually returned as it should be.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xhci: Fix null pointer dereference when host dies Make sure xhci_free_dev() and xhci_kill_endpoint_urbs() do not race and cause null pointer dereference when host suddenly dies. Usb core may call xhci_free_dev() which frees the xhci->devs[slot_id] virt device at the same time that xhci_kill_endpoint_urbs() tries to loop through all the device's endpoints, checking if there are any cancelled urbs left to give back. hold the xhci spinlock while freeing the virt device
