| A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the DNSSEC validation of dnsmasq allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted DNS packet. | |||||
| CVE-2026-4890 | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| A Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in the DNSSEC validation of dnsmasq allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted DNS packet. | |||||
| CVE-2026-39363 | 2 Vitejs, Voidzero | 2 Vite, Vite\+ | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Vite is a frontend tooling framework for JavaScript. From 6.0.0 to before 6.4.2, 7.3.2, and 8.0.5, if it is possible to connect to the Vite dev server’s WebSocket without an Origin header, an attacker can invoke fetchModule via the custom WebSocket event vite:invoke and combine file://... with ?raw (or ?inline) to retrieve the contents of arbitrary files on the server as a JavaScript string (e.g., export default "..."). The access control enforced in the HTTP request path (such as server.fs.allow) is not applied to this WebSocket-based execution path. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.4.2, 7.3.2, and 8.0.5. | |||||
| CVE-2026-34756 | 1 Vllm | 1 Vllm | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.1.0 to before 0.19.0, a Denial of Service vulnerability exists in the vLLM OpenAI-compatible API server. Due to the lack of an upper bound validation on the n parameter in the ChatCompletionRequest and CompletionRequest Pydantic models, an unauthenticated attacker can send a single HTTP request with an astronomically large n value. This completely blocks the Python asyncio event loop and causes immediate Out-Of-Memory crashes by allocating millions of request object copies in the heap before the request even reaches the scheduling queue. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-34755 | 1 Vllm | 1 Vllm | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models (LLMs). From 0.7.0 to before 0.19.0, the VideoMediaIO.load_base64() method at vllm/multimodal/media/video.py splits video/jpeg data URLs by comma to extract individual JPEG frames, but does not enforce a frame count limit. The num_frames parameter (default: 32), which is enforced by the load_bytes() code path, is completely bypassed in the video/jpeg base64 path. An attacker can send a single API request containing thousands of comma-separated base64-encoded JPEG frames, causing the server to decode all frames into memory and crash with OOM. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.19.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-34070 | 1 Langchain | 1 Langchain Core | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications. Prior to version 1.2.22, multiple functions in langchain_core.prompts.loading read files from paths embedded in deserialized config dicts without validating against directory traversal or absolute path injection. When an application passes user-influenced prompt configurations to load_prompt() or load_prompt_from_config(), an attacker can read arbitrary files on the host filesystem, constrained only by file-extension checks (.txt for templates, .json/.yaml for examples). This issue has been patched in version 1.2.22. | |||||
| CVE-2026-33278 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Unbound | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| NLnet Labs Unbound 1.19.1 up to and including version 1.25.0 has a vulnerability in the DNSSEC validator that enables denial of service and possible remote code execution as a result of deep copying a data structure and erroneously overwriting a destination pointer. An adversary can exploit the vulnerability by controlling a malicious signed zone and querying a vulnerable Unbound. When DS sub-queries need to suspend validation due to NSEC3 computational budget exhaustion (introduced in Unbound 1.19.1), Unbound deep-copies response messages to preserve them across memory region teardown. A struct-assignment bug overwrites the destination's pointer with the source's pointer. After the sub-query region is freed, the resumed validator dereferences this dangling pointer, triggering a crash or potentially enabling arbitrary code execution. Unbound 1.25.1 contains a patch with a fix to preserve the correct pointer when deep copying the data structure. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31812 | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| Quinn is a pure-Rust, async-compatible implementation of the IETF QUIC transport protocol. Prior to 0.11.14, a remote, unauthenticated attacker can trigger a denial of service in applications using vulnerable quinn versions by sending a crafted QUIC Initial packet containing malformed quic_transport_parameters. In quinn-proto parsing logic, attacker-controlled varints are decoded with unwrap(), so truncated encodings cause Err(UnexpectedEnd) and panic. This is reachable over the network with a single packet and no prior trust or authentication. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.11.14. | |||||
| CVE-2026-1615 | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| Versions of the package jsonpath before 1.3.0 are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via unsafe evaluation of user-supplied JSON Path expressions. The library relies on the static-eval module to process JSON Path input, which is not designed to handle untrusted data safely. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a malicious JSON Path expression that, when evaluated, executes arbitrary JavaScript code, leading to Remote Code Execution in Node.js environments or Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in browser contexts. This affects all methods that evaluate JSON Paths against objects, including .query, .nodes, .paths, .value, .parent, and .apply. | |||||
| CVE-2026-17042 | 1 Ibm | 20 Power Hardware Management Console \(7063-cr2\), Power Hardware Management Console \(7063-cr2\) Firmware, Power System Ac922 \(8335-gth\) and 17 more | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
| IBM Power Systems Firmware FW950.00 through FW950.H2, OP940.00 through OP940.a1 (Power9), and OP940.00 - OP940.81 (Power HMC) is affected by a vulnerability in host firmware NVRAM parsing. An attacker with root access to a guest partition on an OpenPOWER system can write a specially crafted NVRAM image, causing the host firmware boot stage to crash with possible memory corruption. This condition persists until operator intervention — clearing NVRAM via the service processor — to restore normal operation. This vulnerability only affects OpenPOWER systems; systems running PowerVM are not affected. Successful exploitation results in an integrity and availability impact to the managed system. | |||||
| CVE-2026-19657 | 1 Scada-lts | 1 Scada-lts | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 6.1 MEDIUM |
| ScadaLTS 2.7.8.1 reflects user-supplied input into an HTML response without sanitization. An unauthenticated attacker who lures a victim into visiting a crafted URL can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the victim's browser session. | |||||
| CVE-2026-17468 | 1 Ibm | 1 Documentation Offline | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| IBM Documentation Offline 1.0.0 through 1.4.1 could allow a remote attacker to forge valid session tokens due to the use of a hardcoded cryptographic key. | |||||
| CVE-2026-17473 | 1 Ibm | 1 Documentation Offline | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| IBM Documentation Offline 1.0.0 through 1.4.1 could allow a remote attacker to read arbitrary files due to improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory. | |||||
| CVE-2026-17063 | 1 Ibm | 38 Power System E1050 \(9043-mrx\), Power System E1050 \(9043-mrx\) Firmware, Power System E1080 \(9080-hex\) and 35 more | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 7.9 HIGH |
| IBM Power Systems Firmware FW1120.00, FW1110.00 through FW1110.30, and FW1060.00 through FW1060.80 is affected by a vulnerability in the interface between the BMC/FSP and the host system. An attacker with service account or root access to the BMC/FSP can access and disrupt host processor state, potentially affecting the managed system and all hosted partitions, resulting in an confidentiality, and availability impact. | |||||
| CVE-2019-25031 | 2 Debian, Nlnetlabs | 2 Debian Linux, Unbound | 2026-08-25 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| Unbound before 1.9.5 allows configuration injection in create_unbound_ad_servers.sh upon a successful man-in-the-middle attack against a cleartext HTTP session. NOTE: The vendor does not consider this a vulnerability of the Unbound software. create_unbound_ad_servers.sh is a contributed script from the community that facilitates automatic configuration creation. It is not part of the Unbound installation | |||||
| CVE-2026-78154 | 2026-08-25 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Rejected reason: ** REJECT ** DO NOT USE THIS CANDIDATE NUMBER. ConsultIDs: none. Reason: This candidate was withdrawn by its CNA. Further investigation showed that it was not a security issue. Notes: The endpoint is public on purpose and the invitation code is the credential. This is the standalone SDK onboarding path for mobile apps that have no backend of their own: a developer generates a code via the authenticated dashboard endpoint, the user types it into the app, and it's redeemed for SDK-scoped tokens. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71365 | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 7.7 HIGH | ||
| A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was found in AWX's webhook status callback mechanism. When processing GitHub pull request webhooks, AWX extracts the status callback URL (pull_request.statuses_url) from the incoming webhook payload without validating the target host against the expected Git provider. This URL is persisted in job extra variables and later used to send authenticated status updates. A user with admin role on a webhook-enabled job template can read the template's webhook signing key, forge a signed GitHub webhook payload with an arbitrary statuses_url, and cause AWX to POST status updates to an attacker-controlled or internal URL. The status update request includes the configured Git Personal Access Token (PAT) in the Authorization header, resulting in credential leakage to the attacker-specified endpoint. | |||||
| CVE-2026-68238 | 2026-08-25 | N/A | N/A | ||
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Release VFCT ACPI table reference amdgpu_acpi_vfct_bios() fetches the VFCT table with acpi_get_table() but never releases it. acpi_get_table() takes a reference on the table (incrementing its validation_count and mapping it on the 0->1 transition); without a paired acpi_put_table() the mapping is leaked on every call, whether or not a matching VBIOS image is found. Route all exit paths after the table is acquired through a common acpi_put_table(). The VBIOS image is copied out with kmemdup() before the table is released, so it remains valid for the caller.
