| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix RCU stall in bpf_fd_array_map_clear() Add a missing cond_resched() in bpf_fd_array_map_clear() loop. For PROG_ARRAY maps with many entries this loop calls prog_array_map_poke_run() per entry which can be expensive, and without yielding this can cause RCU stalls under load: rcu: Stack dump where RCU GP kthread last ran: CPU: 0 UID: 0 PID: 30932 Comm: kworker/0:2 Not tainted 6.14.0-13195-g967e8def1100 #2 PREEMPT(undef) Workqueue: events prog_array_map_clear_deferred RIP: 0010:write_comp_data+0x38/0x90 kernel/kcov.c:246 Call Trace: <TASK> prog_array_map_poke_run+0x77/0x380 kernel/bpf/arraymap.c:1096 __fd_array_map_delete_elem+0x197/0x310 kernel/bpf/arraymap.c:925 bpf_fd_array_map_clear kernel/bpf/arraymap.c:1000 [inline] prog_array_map_clear_deferred+0x119/0x1b0 kernel/bpf/arraymap.c:1141 process_one_work+0x898/0x19d0 kernel/workqueue.c:3238 process_scheduled_works kernel/workqueue.c:3319 [inline] worker_thread+0x770/0x10b0 kernel/workqueue.c:3400 kthread+0x465/0x880 kernel/kthread.c:464 ret_from_fork+0x4d/0x80 arch/x86/kernel/process.c:153 ret_from_fork_asm+0x19/0x30 arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:245 </TASK> | |||||
| CVE-2026-53084 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: return VMA snapshot from task_vma iterator Holding the per-VMA lock across the BPF program body creates a lock ordering problem when helpers acquire locks that depend on mmap_lock: vm_lock -> i_rwsem -> mmap_lock -> vm_lock Snapshot the VMA under the per-VMA lock in _next() via memcpy(), then drop the lock before returning. The BPF program accesses only the snapshot. The verifier only trusts vm_mm and vm_file pointers (see BTF_TYPE_SAFE_TRUSTED_OR_NULL in verifier.c). vm_file is reference- counted with get_file() under the lock and released via fput() on the next iteration or in _destroy(). vm_mm is already correct because lock_vma_under_rcu() verifies vma->vm_mm == mm. All other pointers are left as-is by memcpy() since the verifier treats them as untrusted. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53085 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: fix mm lifecycle in open-coded task_vma iterator The open-coded task_vma iterator reads task->mm locklessly and acquires mmap_read_trylock() but never calls mmget(). If the task exits concurrently, the mm_struct can be freed as it is not SLAB_TYPESAFE_BY_RCU, resulting in a use-after-free. Safely read task->mm with a trylock on alloc_lock and acquire an mm reference. Drop the reference via bpf_iter_mmput_async() in _destroy() and error paths. bpf_iter_mmput_async() is a local wrapper around mmput_async() with a fallback to mmput() on !CONFIG_MMU. Reject irqs-disabled contexts (including NMI) up front. Operations used by _next() and _destroy() (mmap_read_unlock, bpf_iter_mmput_async) take spinlocks with IRQs disabled (pool->lock, pi_lock). Running from NMI or from a tracepoint that fires with those locks held could deadlock. A trylock on alloc_lock is used instead of the blocking task_lock() (get_task_mm) to avoid a deadlock when a softirq BPF program iterates a task that already holds its alloc_lock on the same CPU. | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bcmgenet: fix racing timeout handler The bcmgenet_timeout handler tries to take down all tx queues when a single queue times out. This is over zealous and causes many race conditions with queues that are still chugging along. Instead lets only restart the timed out queue. | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bcmgenet: fix leaking free_bds While reclaiming the tx queue we fast forward the write pointer to drop any data in flight. These dropped frames are not added back to the pool of free bds. We also need to tell the netdev that we are dropping said data. | |||||

| CVE-2026-43496 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: sch_red: Replace direct dequeue call with peek and qdisc_dequeue_peeked When red qdisc has children (eg qfq qdisc) whose peek() callback is qdisc_peek_dequeued(), we could get a kernel panic. When the parent of such qdiscs (eg illustrated in patch #3 as tbf) wants to retrieve an skb from its child (red in this case), it will do the following: 1a. do a peek() - and when sensing there's an skb the child can offer, then - the child in this case(red) calls its child's (qfq) peek. qfq does the right thing and will return the gso_skb queue packet. Note: if there wasnt a gso_skb entry then qfq will store it there. 1b. invoke a dequeue() on the child (red). And herein lies the problem. - red will call the child's dequeue() which will essentially just try to grab something of qfq's queue. | CVE-2026-43494 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/rds: reset op_nents when zerocopy page pin fails When iov_iter_get_pages2() fails in rds_message_zcopy_from_user(), the pinned pages are released with put_page(), and rm->data.op_mmp_znotifier is cleared. But we fail to properly clear rm->data.op_nents. Later when rds_message_purge() is called from rds_sendmsg() the cleanup loop iterates over the incorrectly non zero number of op_nents and frees them again. Fix this by properly resetting op_nents when it should be in rds_message_zcopy_from_user(). | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: wwan: t7xx: validate port_count against message length in t7xx_port_enum_msg_handler t7xx_port_enum_msg_handler() uses the modem-supplied port_count field as a loop bound over port_msg->data[] without checking that the message buffer contains sufficient data. A modem sending port_count=65535 in a 12-byte buffer triggers a slab-out-of-bounds read of up to 262140 bytes. Add a sizeof(*port_msg) check before accessing the port message header fields to guard against undersized messages. Add a struct_size() check after extracting port_count and before the loop. In t7xx_parse_host_rt_data(), guard the rt_feature header read with a remaining-buffer check before accessing data_len, validate feat_data_len against the actual remaining buffer to prevent OOB reads and signed integer overflow on offset. Pass msg_len from both call sites: skb->len at the DPMAIF path after skb_pull(), and the validated feat_data_len at the handshake path. | |||||

| CVE-2026-43497 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fbdev: udlfb: add vm_ops to dlfb_ops_mmap to prevent use-after-free dlfb_ops_mmap() uses remap_pfn_range() to map vmalloc framebuffer pages to userspace but sets no vm_ops on the VMA. This means the kernel cannot track active mmaps. When dlfb_realloc_framebuffer() replaces the backing buffer via FBIOPUT_VSCREENINFO, existing mmap PTEs are not invalidated. On USB disconnect, dlfb_ops_destroy() calls vfree() on the old pages while userspace PTEs still reference them, resulting in a use-after-free: the process retains read/write access to freed kernel pages. Add vm_operations_struct with open/close callbacks that maintain an atomic mmap_count on struct dlfb_data. In dlfb_realloc_framebuffer(), check mmap_count and return -EBUSY if the buffer is currently mapped, preventing buffer replacement while userspace holds stale PTEs. Tested with PoC using dummy_hcd + raw_gadget USB device emulation. | |||||
| CVE-2026-6406 | 4 Apple, Docker, Linux and 1 more | 4 Macos, Docker Desktop, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2026-07-23 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| The Docker CLI --use-api-socket flag bypasses Enhanced Container Isolation (ECI) restrictions in Docker Desktop. When ECI is enabled, Docker socket mounts from containers are denied unless explicitly allowed via the admin-settings configuration. However, the --use-api-socket flag adds the Docker socket mount via the HostConfig.Mounts field rather than the HostConfig.Binds field. The ECI enforcement in the Docker Desktop API proxy only inspected Binds, allowing the mount to pass unchecked. This grants a container full access to the Docker Engine socket and, if the host user has logged in to container registries, their authentication credentials. A local attacker with the ability to run Docker CLI commands can exploit this to escape ECI restrictions, access the Docker Engine, and potentially escalate privileges. | |||||
