CVE-2022-30333 4 Debian, Linux, Opengroup and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Unix and 1 more 2026-08-04 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
RARLAB UnRAR before 6.12 on Linux and UNIX allows directory traversal to write to files during an extract (aka unpack) operation, as demonstrated by creating a ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file. NOTE: WinRAR and Android RAR are unaffected.
CVE-2026-17744 2 Google, Linux 2 Chrome, Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 N/A 7.1 HIGH
Inappropriate implementation in File Input in Google Chrome on Linux prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-17877 2 Google, Linux 2 Chrome, Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 N/A 8.4 HIGH
Inappropriate implementation in Chromoting in Google Chrome on Linux prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a local attacker to perform OS-level privilege escalation via malicious network traffic. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-52993 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: fix double-free in tipc_buf_append() tipc_msg_validate() can potentially reallocate the skb it is validating, freeing the old one. In tipc_buf_append(), it was being called with a pointer to a local variable which was a copy of the caller's skb pointer. If the skb was reallocated and validation subsequently failed, the error handling path would free the original skb pointer, which had already been freed, leading to double-free. Fix this by checking if head now points to a newly allocated reassembled skb. If it does, reassign *headbuf for later freeing operations.
CVE-2026-53364 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_conn: Fix memory leak in hci_le_big_terminate() hci_le_big_terminate() allocates iso_list_data via kzalloc_obj but returns 0 without freeing it when neither pa_sync_term nor big_sync_term flags are set after evaluating the PA and BIG sync connection state. This early-return path was introduced when hci_le_big_terminate() was refactored to take struct hci_conn instead of raw u8 parameters, adding PA/BIG flag evaluation logic. The existing kfree() on hci_cmd_sync_queue failure does not cover this path.
CVE-2026-46130 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-verity-fec: fix reading parity bytes split across blocks (take 3) fec_decode_bufs() assumes that the parity bytes of the first RS codeword it decodes are never split across parity blocks. This assumption is false. Consider v->fec->block_size == 4096 && v->fec->roots == 17 && fio->nbufs == 1, for example. In that case, each call to fec_decode_bufs() consumes v->fec->roots * (fio->nbufs << DM_VERITY_FEC_BUF_RS_BITS) = 272 parity bytes. Considering that the parity data for each message block starts on a block boundary, the byte alignment in the parity data will iterate through 272*i mod 4096 until the 3 parity blocks have been consumed. On the 16th call (i=15), the alignment will be 4080 bytes into the first block. Only 16 bytes remain in that block, but 17 parity bytes will be needed. The code reads out-of-bounds from the parity block buffer. Fortunately this doesn't normally happen, since it can occur only for certain non-default values of fec_roots *and* when the maximum number of buffers couldn't be allocated due to low memory. For example with block_size=4096 only the following cases are affected: fec_roots=17: nbufs in [1, 3, 5, 15] fec_roots=19: nbufs in [1, 229] fec_roots=21: nbufs in [1, 3, 5, 13, 15, 39, 65, 195] fec_roots=23: nbufs in [1, 89] Regardless, fix it by refactoring how the parity blocks are read.
CVE-2026-45901 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: revert commit_mutex usage in reset path It causes circular lock dependency between commit_mutex, nfnl_subsys_ipset and nlk_cb_mutex when nft reset, ipset list, and iptables-nft with '-m set' rule run at the same time. Previous patches made it safe to run individual reset handlers concurrently so commit_mutex is no longer required to prevent this.
CVE-2025-38299 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: mediatek: mt8195: Set ETDM1/2 IN/OUT to COMP_DUMMY() ETDM2_IN_BE and ETDM1_OUT_BE are defined as COMP_EMPTY(), in the case the codec dai_name will be null. Avoid a crash if the device tree is not assigning a codec to these links. CVE-2021-23134 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more 16 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 13 more 2026-07-30 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
Use After Free vulnerability in nfc sockets in the Linux Kernel before 5.12.4 allows local attackers to elevate their privileges. In typical configurations, the issue can only be triggered by a privileged local user with the CAP_NET_RAW capability.
CVE-2021-20322 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 32 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 29 more 2026-07-30 5.8 MEDIUM 7.4 HIGH
A flaw in the processing of received ICMP errors (ICMP fragment needed and ICMP redirect) in the Linux kernel functionality was found to allow the ability to quickly scan open UDP ports. This flaw allows an off-path remote user to effectively bypass the source port UDP randomization. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and possibly integrity, because software that relies on UDP source port randomization are indirectly affected as well.
CVE-2021-23133 5 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 24 Brocade Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 21 more 2026-07-30 6.9 MEDIUM 6.7 MEDIUM
A race condition in Linux kernel SCTP sockets (net/sctp/socket.c) before 5.12-rc8 can lead to kernel privilege escalation from the context of a network service or an unprivileged process. If sctp_destroy_sock is called without sock_net(sk)->sctp.addr_wq_lock then an element is removed from the auto_asconf_splist list without any proper locking. This can be exploited by an attacker with network service privileges to escalate to root or from the context of an unprivileged user directly if a BPF_CGROUP_INET_SOCK_CREATE is attached which denies creation of some SCTP socket.
CVE-2021-27364 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 4 more 2026-07-30 3.6 LOW 7.1 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.11.3. drivers/scsi/scsi_transport_iscsi.c is adversely affected by the ability of an unprivileged user to craft Netlink messages.
CVE-2021-27365 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 6 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup and 3 more 2026-07-30 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 5.11.3. Certain iSCSI data structures do not have appropriate length constraints or checks, and can exceed the PAGE_SIZE value. An unprivileged user can send a Netlink message that is associated with iSCSI, and has a length up to the maximum length of a Netlink message.
CVE-2023-4244 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. Due to a race condition between nf_tables netlink control plane transaction and nft_set element garbage collection, it is possible to underflow the reference counter causing a use-after-free vulnerability. We recommend upgrading past commit 3e91b0ebd994635df2346353322ac51ce84ce6d8.
CVE-2023-1281 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Use After Free vulnerability in Linux kernel traffic control index filter (tcindex) allows Privilege Escalation. The imperfect hash area can be updated while packets are traversing, which will cause a use-after-free when 'tcf_exts_exec()' is called with the destroyed tcf_ext. A local attacker user can use this vulnerability to elevate its privileges to root. This issue affects Linux Kernel: from 4.14 before git commit ee059170b1f7e94e55fa6cadee544e176a6e59c2.
CVE-2026-53167 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fuse: limit FUSE_NOTIFY_RETRIEVE to uptodate folios FUSE_NOTIFY_RETRIEVE must be limited to uptodate folios; !uptodate folios can contain uninitialized data. Since FUSE_NOTIFY_RETRIEVE is intended to only return data that is already in the page cache and not wait for data from the FUSE daemon, treat !uptodate folios as if they weren't present. This only has security impact on systems that don't enable automatic zero-initialization of all page allocations via CONFIG_INIT_ON_ALLOC_DEFAULT_ON or init_on_alloc=1.
CVE-2025-71311 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 N/A 8.2 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: Initialize new folios before use KMSAN reports an uninitialized value in longest_match_std(), invoked from ntfs_compress_write(). When new folios are allocated without being marked uptodate and ni_read_frame() is skipped because the caller expects the frame to be completely overwritten, some reserved folios may remain only partially filled, leaving the rest memory uninitialized.
CVE-2025-71302 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: fix for dma-fence safe access rules Commit 506aa8b02a8d6 ("dma-fence: Add safe access helpers and document the rules") details the dma-fence safe access rules. The most common culprit is that drm_sched_fence_get_timeline_name may race with group_free_queue.
CVE-2025-71300 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Revert "arm64: zynqmp: Add an OP-TEE node to the device tree" This reverts commit 06d22ed6b6635b17551f386b50bb5aaff9b75fbe. OP-TEE logic in U-Boot automatically injects a reserved-memory node along with optee firmware node to kernel device tree. The injection logic is dependent on that there is no manually defined optee node. Having the node in zynqmp.dtsi effectively breaks OP-TEE's insertion of the reserved-memory node, causing memory access violations during runtime.
CVE-2025-71292 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-30 N/A 7.5 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: nlink overflow in jfs_rename If nlink is maximal for a directory (-1) and inside that directory you perform a rename for some child directory (not moving from the parent), then the nlink of the first directory is first incremented and later decremented. Normally this is fine, but when nlink = -1 this causes a wrap around to 0, and then drop_nlink issues a warning. After applying the patch syzbot no longer issues any warnings. I also ran some basic fs tests to look for any regressions.
