| CVE-2023-52688 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix the error handler of rfkill config When the core rfkill config throws error, it should free the allocated resources. Currently it is not freeing the core pdev create resources. Avoid this issue by calling the core pdev destroy in the error handler of core rfkill config. Found this issue in the code review and it is compile tested only. | |||||
| CVE-2023-52687 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: safexcel - Add error handling for dma_map_sg() calls Macro dma_map_sg() may return 0 on error. This patch enables checks in case of the macro failure and ensures unmapping of previously mapped buffers with dma_unmap_sg(). Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with static analysis tool SVACE. | |||||
| CVE-2023-52679 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of: Fix double free in of_parse_phandle_with_args_map In of_parse_phandle_with_args_map() the inner loop that iterates through the map entries calls of_node_put(new) to free the reference acquired by the previous iteration of the inner loop. This assumes that the value of "new" is NULL on the first iteration of the inner loop. Make sure that this is true in all iterations of the outer loop by setting "new" to NULL after its value is assigned to "cur". Extend the unittest to detect the double free and add an additional test case that actually triggers this path. | |||||

Fixes the below: drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../amdkfd/kfd_topology.c:1347 kfd_create_indirect_link_prop() warn: can 'gpu_link' even be NULL? drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../amdkfd/kfd_topology.c:1428 kfd_add_peer_prop() warn: can 'iolink1' even be NULL? drivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../amdkfd/kfd_topology.c:1433 kfd_add_peer_prop() warn: can 'iolink2' even be NULL? | |||||
| CVE-2023-52669 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: s390/aes - Fix buffer overread in CTR mode When processing the last block, the s390 ctr code will always read a whole block, even if there isn't a whole block of data left. Fix this by using the actual length left and copy it into a buffer first for processing. | |||||
| CVE-2023-52667 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: fix a potential double-free in fs_any_create_groups When kcalloc() for ft->g succeeds but kvzalloc() for in fails, fs_any_create_groups() will free ft->g. However, its caller fs_any_create_table() will free ft->g again through calling mlx5e_destroy_flow_table(), which will lead to a double-free. Fix this by setting ft->g to NULL in fs_any_create_groups(). | |||||
| CVE-2023-52664 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atlantic: eliminate double free in error handling logic Driver has a logic leak in ring data allocation/free, where aq_ring_free could be called multiple times on same ring, if system is under stress and got memory allocation error. Ring pointer was used as an indicator of failure, but this is not correct since only ring data is allocated/deallocated. Ring itself is an array member. Changing ring allocation functions to return error code directly. This simplifies error handling and eliminates aq_ring_free on higher layer. | |||||

| CVE-2023-52654 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/af_unix: disable sending io_uring over sockets File reference cycles have caused lots of problems for io_uring in the past, and it still doesn't work exactly right and races with unix_stream_read_generic(). The safest fix would be to completely disallow sending io_uring files via sockets via SCM_RIGHT, so there are no possible cycles invloving registered files and thus rendering SCM accounting on the io_uring side unnecessary. | |||||

| CVE-2023-52636 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: just wait for more data to be available on the socket A short read may occur while reading the message footer from the socket. Later, when the socket is ready for another read, the messenger invokes all read_partial_*() handlers, including read_partial_sparse_msg_data(). The expectation is that read_partial_sparse_msg_data() would bail, allowing the messenger to invoke read_partial() for the footer and pick up where it left off. However read_partial_sparse_msg_data() violates that and ends up calling into the state machine in the OSD client. The sparse-read state machine assumes that it's a new op and interprets some piece of the footer as the sparse-read header and returns bogus extents/data length, etc. To determine whether read_partial_sparse_msg_data() should bail, let's reuse cursor->total_resid. Because once it reaches to zero that means all the extents and data have been successfully received in last read, else it could break out when partially reading any of the extents and data. And then osd_sparse_read() could continue where it left off. [ idryomov: changelog ] | |||||
| CVE-2023-52628 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nftables: exthdr: fix 4-byte stack OOB write If priv->len is a multiple of 4, then dst[len / 4] can write past the destination array which leads to stack corruption. This construct is necessary to clean the remainder of the register in case ->len is NOT a multiple of the register size, so make it conditional just like nft_payload.c does. The bug was added in 4.1 cycle and then copied/inherited when tcp/sctp and ip option support was added. Bug reported by Zero Day Initiative project (ZDI-CAN-21950, ZDI-CAN-21951, ZDI-CAN-21961). | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_ct: fix skb leak and crash on ooo frags act_ct adds skb->users before defragmentation. If frags arrive in order, the last frag's reference is reset in: inet_frag_reasm_prepare skb_morph which is not straightforward. However when frags arrive out of order, nobody unref the last frag, and all frags are leaked. The situation is even worse, as initiating packet capture can lead to a crash[0] when skb has been cloned and shared at the same time. Fix the issue by removing skb_get() before defragmentation. act_ct returns TC_ACT_CONSUMED when defrag failed or in progress.
