| CVE-2026-77365 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.2 HIGH | ||
| The Optimole – Optimize Images | Convert WebP & AVIF | CDN & Lazy Load | Image Optimization plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'a' (above_fold_images) parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. | |||||
| CVE-2026-75628 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 5.7 MEDIUM | ||
| Punk::OAuth2 versions before 0.03 for Perl allow an attacker-chosen off-site redirect after login because same_origin_path accepts a backslash or tab in the return parameter. oauth2_login reads the return parameter from the initiation request, runs same_origin_path over it, and stores the survivor in the session flow record as the post-login redirect target. That check rejects a value that does not begin with a slash, one with a slash as its second byte, and one containing CR or LF. A backslash and a tab pass. The URL Standard treats a backslash as equivalent to a slash for special schemes, so `/\evil.example` parses with the authority `evil.example`. It also strips ASCII tab before parsing, so a tab between two leading slashes leaves `//evil.example`. A crafted link to the application's own login route lands the victim on the attacker's site after a genuine authentication. The redirect carries no authorization code or access token. | |||||
| CVE-2026-74802 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH | ||
| SiYuan versions before 3.7.4 contain a cross-site WebSocket hijacking vulnerability in the admin-only /ws/network/proxy endpoint that explicitly disables origin validation by setting CheckOrigin to unconditionally return true. Attackers can craft malicious webpages that establish WebSocket connections to this endpoint and direct the SiYuan kernel process to proxy arbitrary network traffic to attacker-chosen targets, enabling authenticated network pivoting through the victim's machine. | |||||
| CVE-2026-65931 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | N/A | ||
| LimeSurvey Community Edition 7.0.5 contains an authenticated improper authorization vulnerability in the survey menu entry creation endpoint. An authenticated user with only the global settings:read permission can directly invoke POST /index.php/admin/menuentries/sa/create and create new survey menu entries without the expected settings:update privilege. The endpoint also allows the attacker to submit menu IDs that the normal interface and intended update workflow restrict for non-superadministrators, enabling unauthorized changes to administrative navigation records. This issue affects LimeSurvey: 7.0.5. | |||||
| CVE-2026-65897 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Grav API Plugin versions before 1.0.10 fail to validate the groups field in InvitationsController::create(), allowing authenticated api.users.write callers to assign invited accounts to groups that grant api.super permissions. Attackers can create invitation records with elevated group membership, and when accepted, the new account gains full super-admin API access without the inviter holding those permissions. | |||||
| CVE-2026-65896 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH | ||
| Grav API Plugin (Composer package getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 1.0.10 fails to properly validate the slug field in the POST /pages/{route}/move endpoint. PagesController::move() sanitizes the slug only with ltrim($body['slug'], '.'), which strips leading periods but does not neutralize '/' or '..' segments. An authenticated API caller with the api.pages.write permission can supply path traversal sequences (e.g., 01.home/../../../pwned) to move an entire page directory (content and media) to an arbitrary writable location outside user/pages/, including outside the Grav installation. | |||||
| CVE-2026-65895 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 8.5 HIGH | ||
| Grav API Plugin versions before 1.0.10 fail to restrict write access to security-critical plugin configuration scopes, allowing authenticated users with api.config.write privilege to modify rate limiting and CORS settings. Attackers can disable rate limiting site-wide to enable credential brute-forcing attacks and reconfigure CORS policies to include attacker-controlled origins with credentials enabled. | |||||
| CVE-2026-61231 | 1 Oracle | 1 Virtual Directory | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Virtual Directory product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Virtual Directory Server). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via LDAP to compromise Oracle Virtual Directory. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Virtual Directory. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). | |||||
| CVE-2026-5510 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 6.4 MEDIUM | ||
| The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'give_form' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 4.14.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on the continue_button_title and display_style shortcode attributes, which are passed through sanitize_text_field() but not properly escaped when output in HTML data attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. | |||||
| CVE-2026-5241 | 1 Huggingface | 1 Transformers | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 9.6 CRITICAL |
| A vulnerability in the LightGlue model loading path of huggingface/transformers version 5.2.0 allows an attacker-controlled model repository to execute arbitrary code during model initialization. The issue arises because the `trust_remote_code` parameter, intended to prevent remote code execution, is overridden by untrusted serialized configuration data in a nested code path. Specifically, when loading a LightGlue model using `AutoModel.from_pretrained()` with `trust_remote_code=False`, the `LightGlueConfig` reads the `trust_remote_code` value from the untrusted `config.json` file and propagates it into nested `AutoConfig.from_pretrained()` calls. This results in the execution of attacker-provided Python modules, even when the victim explicitly disables remote code execution. The vulnerability poses a high risk for environments such as API inference servers, research notebooks, CI/CD pipelines, and model evaluation workers, potentially leading to credential theft, lateral movement, or persistence/backdoor deployment. | |||||
| CVE-2026-58652 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| luci-app-travelmate (and the travelmate package) contain a privilege-escalation flaw: a LuCI/rpcd session holding the luci-app-travelmate write ACL is granted config-wide UCI write access to the travelmate configuration. While the LuCI UI restricts the auto-login script picker to /etc/travelmate/*.login, this is only a frontend restriction. The backend travelmate service (running as root) reads the raw UCI 'script' and 'script_args' values and executes the configured path when the captive-portal auto-login branch (f_check() in travelmate-functions.sh) is reached. An attacker with delegated write permissions can set script to /bin/sh and script_args to attacker-controlled arguments, resulting in arbitrary command execution as root. Confirmed in luci-app-travelmate/travelmate 2.4.5-r3; the sink is still present in travelmate 2.4.6-1 and no patched version is known. | |||||
| CVE-2026-56121 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| Feast before 0.63.0 contains an unsafe deserialization vulnerability that allows unauthenticated or unauthorized attackers to achieve remote code execution by sending a crafted gRPC request to the registry server. The user_defined_function.body field of an OnDemandFeatureView spec is decoded from base64 and passed to dill.loads() before any authorization check is performed, enabling attackers to embed a malicious serialized Python object with an arbitrary __reduce__ method to execute OS commands as the feast service account. | |||||
| CVE-2026-4398 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM | ||
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 18.3 before 19.1.7, 19.2 before 19.2.5, and 19.3 before 19.3.1 that, under certain conditions, an authenticated user could have assigned compliance frameworks from namespaces they were not authorized to access to their own project, due to missing namespace validation on self-managed instances. | |||||
| CVE-2026-49851 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Mistune is a Python Markdown parser with renderers and plugins. Prior to 3.3.0, Mistune is vulnerable to a CPU exhaustion DoS due to superlinear (approximately O(n²)) behavior in parse_link_text. When parsing Markdown containing many consecutive [ characters, parse_link_text repeatedly scans the input using a regex search inside a loop. Each iteration re-scans a large portion of the remaining string, resulting in quadratic-time behavior. An attacker-controlled Markdown input can therefore trigger excessive CPU usage with a very small payload. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.3.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44727 | 1 Jupyter | 1 Jupyter Server | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. Prior to 2.20, the nbconvert HTTP handlers in jupyter_server render user-authored notebook HTML under the Jupyter origin without a sandbox directive in their Content-Security-Policy. Combined with nbconvert.HTMLExporter's default non-sanitizing behavior, a notebook carrying an HTML payload in a display_data output triggers stored XSS with cookie access, full /api/* authority, and kernel RCE. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.20. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44724 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| systeminformation is a System and OS information library for node.js. From 4.17.0 to 5.31.5, on Linux, systeminformation is vulnerable to command injection in networkInterfaces() when an active NetworkManager connection profile name contains shell metacharacters. The vulnerable value is obtained internally from real nmcli device status output. The library sanitizes the network interface name before using it in shell commands, but it does not apply equivalent sanitization to the parsed NetworkManager connection profile name. That unsanitized connectionName is then interpolated into three shell command strings executed through execSync(). This vulnerability is fixed in 5.31.6. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44513 | 1 Huggingface | 1 Diffusers | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| Diffusers is the a library for pretrained diffusion models. Prior to 0.38.0, a trust_remote_code bypass in DiffusionPipeline.from_pretrained allows arbitrary remote code execution despite the user passing trust_remote_code=False (or omitting it, which is the default). The vulnerability has three variants, all sharing the same root cause — the trust_remote_code gate was implemented inside DiffusionPipeline.download() rather than at the actual dynamic-module load site, so any code path that bypassed or short-circuited download() also bypassed the security check. DiffusionPipeline.from_pretrained('repoA', custom_pipeline='attacker/repoB', trust_remote_code=False) — the gate evaluated against repoA's file list rather than repoB's, so repoB's pipeline.py was loaded and executed. DiffusionPipeline.from_pretrained('/local/snapshot', custom_pipeline='attacker/repoB', trust_remote_code=False) — the local-path branch never invoked download(), so the gate was never reached and remote code from repoB executed. DiffusionPipeline.from_pretrained('/local/snapshot', trust_remote_code=False) where the snapshot contains custom component files (e.g. unet/my_unet_model.py) referenced from model_index.json — same root cause; the local path skipped download() and custom component code executed. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.38.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44289 | 1 Protobufjs Project | 1 Protobufjs | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| protobufjs compiles protobuf definitions into JavaScript (JS) functions. Prior to 7.5.6 and 8.0.2, protobufjs could recurse without a depth limit while decoding nested protobuf data. This affected both skipping unknown group fields and generated decoding of nested message fields. A crafted protobuf binary payload could cause the JavaScript call stack to be exhausted during decoding. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.5.6 and 8.0.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44020 | 1 Docling | 1 Docling | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.13.0 until 2.74.0, the USPTO patent XML parser used the standard xml.sax.parseString() without protection against XML External Entity (XXE) attacks. An attacker could craft malicious USPTO patent XML files with external entity references that could read arbitrary files from the server filesystem, perform Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks, or cause denial of service through entity expansion (Billion Laughs attack). The vulnerability affects three USPTO patent format parsers: ICE (v4.x), Grant v2.5, and Application v1.x. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.74.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44017 | 1 Docling | 1 Docling | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. Prior to 2.91.0, the EasyOCR model download functionality extracted ZIP archives without validating member paths, enabling Zip Slip attacks. If an attacker could compromise the model download source (via supply chain attack, DNS spoofing, or MITM), they could write arbitrary files to any location writable by the process, potentially achieving remote code execution by overwriting Python files or system binaries, persistent backdoors by modifying startup scripts or SSH keys, and data corruption or system compromise. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.91.0. | |||||
