| CVE-2026-46251 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.4 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix block_group_tree dirty_list corruption When the incompat flag EXTENT_TREE_V2 is set, we unconditionally add the block group tree to the switch_commits list before calling switch_commit_roots, as we do for the tree root and the chunk root. However, the block group tree uses normal root dirty tracking and in any transaction that does an allocation and dirties a block group, the block group root will already be linked to a list by the dirty_list field and this use of list_add_tail() is invalid and corrupts the prev/next members of block_group_root->dirty_list. This is apparent on a subsequent list_del on the prev if we enable CONFIG_DEBUG_LIST: [32.1571] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [32.1572] list_del corruption. next->prev should beffff958890202538, but was ffff9588992bd538. | CVE-2026-46238 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: stop caching unowned originator pointers in BAT IV BAT IV keeps the last-hop neighbor address in each neigh_node, but some paths also cache an originator pointer derived from a temporary lookup. That pointer is not owned by the neigh_node and may no longer refer to a live originator entry after purge handling runs. Stop storing the auxiliary originator pointer in the BAT IV neighbor state. When BAT IV needs the neighbor originator data, resolve it from the stored neighbor address and drop the reference again after use. [sven: avoid bonding logic for outgoing OGM] | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: rc: xbox_remote: heed DMA restrictions The buffer for IO must not be part of the device structure because that violates the DMA coherency rules. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46232 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: playstation: Clamp num_touch_reports A device would never lie about the number of touch reports would it? If it does the loop in dualshock4_parse_report will read off the end of the touch_reports array, up to about 2 KiB for the maximum number of 256 loop iteraions. The data that is read is emitted via evdev if the DS4_TOUCH_POINT_INACTIVE bit happens to be set. Protect against this by clamping the num_touch_reports value provided by the device to the maximum size of the touch_reports array. | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: bla: put backbone reference on failed claim hash insert When batadv_bla_add_claim() fails to insert a new claim into the hash, it leaked a reference to the backbone_gw for which the claim was intended. Call batadv_backbone_gw_put() on the error path to release the reference and avoid leaking the backbone_gw object. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46229 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Clear VRAM on allocation to prevent stale data exposure KFD VRAM allocations set AMDGPU_GEM_CREATE_VRAM_WIPE_ON_RELEASE but not AMDGPU_GEM_CREATE_VRAM_CLEARED, leaving freshly allocated VRAM with stale data from prior use observable by compute kernels. The GEM ioctl path already sets VRAM_CLEARED for all userspace allocations via amdgpu_gem_create_ioctl() and amdgpu_mode_dumb_create(). The KFD path was missing this flag, allowing stale page table remnants to leak into user buffers. This causes crashes in RCCL P2P transport where non-zero data in ptrExchange/head/tail fields corrupts the protocol handshake. | |||||

| CVE-2026-46218 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Add bounds checking to ib_{get,set}_value The uvd/vce/vcn code accesses the IB at predefined offsets without checking that the IB is large enough. Check the bounds here. The caller is responsible for making sure it can handle arbitrary return values. Also make the idx a uint32_t to prevent overflows causing the condition to fail. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46206 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: reject new tp_meter sessions during teardown Prevent tp_meter from starting new sender or receiver sessions after mesh_state has left BATADV_MESH_ACTIVE. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46205 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: media: atomisp: Disallow all private IOCTLs Disallow all private IOCTLs. These aren't quite as safe as one could assume of IOCTL handlers; disable them for now. Instead of removing the code, return in the beginning of the function if cmd is non-zero in order to keep static checkers happy. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46202 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: appletb-kbd: run inactivity autodim from workqueues The autodim code in hid-appletb-kbd takes backlight_device->ops_lock via backlight_device_set_brightness() -> mutex_lock() from two different atomic contexts: * appletb_inactivity_timer() is a struct timer_list callback, so it runs in softirq context. Every expiry triggers BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at kernel/locking/mutex.c:591 Call Trace: <IRQ> __might_resched __mutex_lock backlight_device_set_brightness appletb_inactivity_timer call_timer_fn run_timer_softirq * reset_inactivity_timer() is called from appletb_kbd_hid_event() and appletb_kbd_inp_event(). On real USB hardware these run in softirq/IRQ context (URB completion and input-event dispatch). When the Touch Bar has already been dimmed or turned off, the reset path calls backlight_device_set_brightness() directly to restore brightness, producing the same warning. Both call sites hit the same mutex_lock()-from-atomic bug. Fix them together by moving the blocking work onto the system workqueue: * Convert the inactivity timer from struct timer_list to struct delayed_work; the callback (appletb_inactivity_work) now runs in process context where mutex_lock() is legal. * Add a dedicated struct work_struct restore_brightness_work and have reset_inactivity_timer() schedule it instead of calling backlight_device_set_brightness() directly. Cancel both works synchronously during driver tear-down alongside the existing backlight reference drop. The semantics are unchanged (same delays, same state transitions on dim, turn-off and user activity); only the execution context of the sleeping call changes. The timer field and callback are renamed to match their new type; reset_inactivity_timer() keeps its name because it is invoked from input event paths that read naturally as "reset the inactivity timer". | |||||

| CVE-2026-46192 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: microchip-core-qspi: don't attempt to transmit during emulated read-only dual/quad operations The core will deal with reads by creating clock cycles itself, there's no need to generate clock cycles by transmitting garbage data at the driver level. Further, transmitting garbage data just bricks the transfer since QSPI doesn't have a dedicated master-out line like MOSI in regular SPI. I'm not entirely sure if the transfer is bricked because of the garbage data being transmitted on the bus or because the core loses track of whether it is supposed to be sending or receiving data. | |||||
