CVE-2026-43057 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.5 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: correctly handle tunneled traffic on IPV6_CSUM GSO fallback NETIF_F_IPV6_CSUM only advertises support for checksum offload of packets without IPv6 extension headers. Packets with extension headers must fall back onto software checksumming. Since TSO depends on checksum offload, those must revert to GSO. The below commit introduces that fallback. It always checks network header length. For tunneled packets, the inner header length must be checked instead. Extend the check accordingly. A special case is tunneled packets without inner IP protocol. Such as RFC 6951 SCTP in UDP. Those are not standard IPv6 followed by transport header either, so also must revert to the software GSO path.
CVE-2026-43033 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: authencesn - Do not place hiseq at end of dst for out-of-place decryption When decrypting data that is not in-place (src != dst), there is no need to save the high-order sequence bits in dst as it could simply be re-copied from the source. However, the data to be hashed need to be rearranged accordingly. Thanks,
CVE-2026-43030 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix regsafe() for pointers to packet In case rold->reg->range == BEYOND_PKT_END && rcur->reg->range == N regsafe() may return true which may lead to current state with valid packet range not being explored. Fix the bug.
CVE-2026-43028 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: x_tables: ensure names are nul-terminated Reject names that lack a \0 character before feeding them to functions that expect c-strings. Fixes tag is the most recent commit that needs this change.
CVE-2026-43026 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ctnetlink: zero expect NAT fields when CTA_EXPECT_NAT absent ctnetlink_alloc_expect() allocates expectations from a non-zeroing slab cache via nf_ct_expect_alloc(). When CTA_EXPECT_NAT is not present in the netlink message, saved_addr and saved_proto are never initialized. Stale data from a previous slab occupant can then be dumped to userspace by ctnetlink_exp_dump_expect(), which checks these fields to decide whether to emit CTA_EXPECT_NAT. The safe sibling nf_ct_expect_init(), used by the packet path, explicitly zeroes these fields. Zero saved_addr, saved_proto and dir in the else branch, guarded by IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_NF_NAT) since these fields only exist when NAT is enabled. Confirmed by priming the expect slab with NAT-bearing expectations, freeing them, creating a new expectation without CTA_EXPECT_NAT, and observing that the ctnetlink dump emits a spurious CTA_EXPECT_NAT containing stale data from the prior allocation.
CVE-2026-43024 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: reject immediate NF_QUEUE verdict nft_queue is always used from userspace nftables to deliver the NF_QUEUE verdict. Immediately emitting an NF_QUEUE verdict is never used by the userspace nft tools, so reject immediate NF_QUEUE verdicts. The arp family does not provide queue support, but such an immediate verdict is still reachable. Globally reject NF_QUEUE immediate verdicts to address this issue.
CVE-2026-31768 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ti-adc161s626: use DMA-safe memory for spi_read() Add a DMA-safe buffer and use it for spi_read() instead of a stack memory. All SPI buffers must be DMA-safe. Since we only need up to 3 bytes, we just use a u8[] instead of __be16 and __be32 and change the conversion functions appropriately.
CVE-2026-31752 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: br_nd_send: validate ND option lengths br_nd_send() walks ND options according to option-provided lengths. A malformed option can make the parser advance beyond the computed option span or use a too-short source LLADDR option payload. Validate option lengths against the remaining NS option area before advancing, and only read source LLADDR when the option is large enough for an Ethernet address.
CVE-2026-31737 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ftgmac100: fix ring allocation unwind on open failure ftgmac100_alloc_rings() allocates rx_skbs, tx_skbs, rxdes, txdes, and rx_scratch in stages. On intermediate failures it returned -ENOMEM directly, leaking resources allocated earlier in the function. Rework the failure path to use staged local unwind labels and free allocated resources in reverse order before returning -ENOMEM. This matches common netdev allocation cleanup style.
CVE-2026-31682 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: br_nd_send: linearize skb before parsing ND options br_nd_send() parses neighbour discovery options from ns->opt[] and assumes that these options are in the linear part of request. Its callers only guarantee that the ICMPv6 header and target address are available, so the option area can still be non-linear. Parsing ns->opt[] in that case can access data past the linear buffer. Linearize request before option parsing and derive ns from the linear network header.
CVE-2026-31680 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipv6: flowlabel: defer exclusive option free until RCU teardown `ip6fl_seq_show()` walks the global flowlabel hash under the seq-file RCU read-side lock and prints `fl->opt->opt_nflen` when an option block is present. Exclusive flowlabels currently free `fl->opt` as soon as `fl->users` drops to zero in `fl_release()`. However, the surrounding `struct ip6_flowlabel` remains visible in the global hash table until later garbage collection removes it and `fl_free_rcu()` finally tears it down. A concurrent `/proc/net/ip6_flowlabel` reader can therefore race that early `kfree()` and dereference freed option state, triggering a crash in `ip6fl_seq_show()`. Fix this by keeping `fl->opt` alive until `fl_free_rcu()`. That matches the lifetime already required for the enclosing flowlabel while readers can still reach it under RCU.
CVE-2026-31674 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ip6t_rt: reject oversized addrnr in rt_mt6_check() Reject rt match rules whose addrnr exceeds IP6T_RT_HOPS. rt_mt6() expects addrnr to stay within the bounds of rtinfo->addrs[]. Validate addrnr during rule installation so malformed rules are rejected before the match logic can use an out-of-range value.
CVE-2026-31670 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: rfkill: prevent unlimited numbers of rfkill events from being created Userspace can create an unlimited number of rfkill events if the system is so configured, while not consuming them from the rfkill file descriptor, causing a potential out of memory situation. Prevent this from bounding the number of pending rfkill events at a "large" number (i.e. 1000) to prevent abuses like this.
CVE-2026-31664 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: clear trailing padding in build_polexpire() build_expire() clears the trailing padding bytes of struct xfrm_user_expire after setting the hard field via memset_after(), but the analogous function build_polexpire() does not do this for struct xfrm_user_polexpire. The padding bytes after the __u8 hard field are left uninitialized from the heap allocation, and are then sent to userspace via netlink multicast to XFRMNLGRP_EXPIRE listeners, leaking kernel heap memory contents. Add the missing memset_after() call, matching build_expire().
CVE-2026-31628 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/CPU: Fix FPDSS on Zen1 Zen1's hardware divider can leave, under certain circumstances, partial results from previous operations. Those results can be leaked by another, attacker thread. Fix that with a chicken bit.
CVE-2026-31563 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.5 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: macb: Use dev_consume_skb_any() to free TX SKBs The napi_consume_skb() function is not intended to be called in an IRQ disabled context. However, after commit 6bc8a5098bf4 ("net: macb: Fix tx_ptr_lock locking"), the freeing of TX SKBs is performed with IRQs disabled. CVE-2026-31555 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: futex: Clear stale exiting pointer in futex_lock_pi() retry path Fuzzying/stressing futexes triggered: WARNING: kernel/futex/core.c:825 at wait_for_owner_exiting+0x7a/0x80, CPU#11: futex_lock_pi_s/524 When futex_lock_pi_atomic() sees the owner is exiting, it returns -EBUSY and stores a refcounted task pointer in 'exiting'. CVE-2026-31508 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: openvswitch: Avoid releasing netdev before teardown completes The patch cited in the Fixes tag below changed the teardown code for OVS ports to no longer unconditionally take the RTNL. After this change, the netdev_destroy() callback can proceed immediately to the call_rcu() invocation if the IFF_OVS_DATAPATH flag is already cleared on the netdev. The ovs_netdev_detach_dev() function clears the flag before completing the unregistration, and if it gets preempted after clearing the flag (as can happen on an -rt kernel), netdev_destroy() can complete and the device can be freed before the unregistration completes. This leads to a splat like: [ 998.393867] Oops: general protection fault, probably for non-canonical address 0xff00000001000239: 0000 [#1] SMP PTI [ 998.393877] CPU: 42 UID: 0 PID: 55177 Comm: ip Kdump: loaded Not tainted 6.12.0-211.1.1.el10_2.x86_64+rt #1 PREEMPT_RT [ 998.393886] Hardware name: Dell Inc. CVE-2026-31503 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udp: Fix wildcard bind conflict check when using hash2 When binding a udp_sock to a local address and port, UDP uses two hashes (udptable->hash and udptable->hash2) for collision detection. The current code switches to "hash2" when hslot->count > 10. "hash2" is keyed by local address and local port. "hash" is keyed by local port only. The issue can be shown in the following bind sequence (pseudo code): bind(fd1, "[fd00::1]:8888") bind(fd2, "[fd00::2]:8888") bind(fd3, "[fd00::3]:8888") bind(fd4, "[fd00::4]:8888") bind(fd5, "[fd00::5]:8888") bind(fd6, "[fd00::6]:8888") bind(fd7, "[fd00::7]:8888") bind(fd8, "[fd00::8]:8888") bind(fd9, "[fd00::9]:8888") bind(fd10, "[fd00::10]:8888") /* Correctly return -EADDRINUSE because "hash" is used * instead of "hash2". udp_lib_lport_inuse() detects the * conflict. */ bind(fail_fd, "[::]:8888") /* After one more socket is bound to "[fd00::11]:8888", * hslot->count exceeds 10 and "hash2" is used instead. */ bind(fd11, "[fd00::11]:8888") bind(fail_fd, "[::]:8888") /* succeeds unexpectedly */ The same issue applies to the IPv4 wildcard address "0.0.0.0" and the IPv4-mapped wildcard address "::ffff:0.0.0.0". For example, if there are existing sockets bound to "192.168.1.[1-11]:8888", then binding "0.0.0.0:8888" or "[::ffff:0.0.0.0]:8888" can also miss the conflict when hslot->count > 10. TCP inet_csk_get_port() already has the correct check in inet_use_bhash2_on_bind(). Rename it to inet_use_hash2_on_bind() and move it to inet_hashtables.h so udp.c can reuse it in this fix.
