| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: raspberrypi-ts - fix refcount leak in rpi_ts_probe rpi_firmware_get() take reference, we need to release it in error paths as well. Use devm_rpi_firmware_get() helper to handling the resources. Also remove the existing rpi_firmware_put(). | |||||
| CVE-2023-53501 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd/iommu_v2: Fix pasid_state refcount dec hit 0 warning on pasid unbind When unbinding pasid - a race condition exists vs outstanding page faults. To prevent this, the pasid_state object contains a refcount. * set to 1 on pasid bind * incremented on each ppr notification start * decremented on each ppr notification done * decremented on pasid unbind Since refcount_dec assumes that refcount will never reach 0: the current implementation causes the following to be invoked on pasid unbind: REFCOUNT_WARN("decrement hit 0; leaking memory") Fix this issue by changing refcount_dec to refcount_dec_and_test to explicitly handle refcount=1. | |||||
| CVE-2023-53191 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/alpine-msi: Fix refcount leak in alpine_msix_init_domains of_irq_find_parent() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, We should use of_node_put() on it when not needed anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak. | |||||
| CVE-2023-53177 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: hi846: fix usage of pm_runtime_get_if_in_use() pm_runtime_get_if_in_use() does not only return nonzero values when the device is in use, it can return a negative errno too. And especially during resuming from system suspend, when runtime pm is not yet up again, -EAGAIN is being returned, so the subsequent pm_runtime_put() call results in a refcount underflow. Fix system-resume by handling -EAGAIN of pm_runtime_get_if_in_use(). | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/ti-sci: Fix refcount leak in ti_sci_intr_irq_domain_probe of_irq_find_parent() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, We should use of_node_put() on it when not needed anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak. | |||||
| CVE-2023-53118 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: core: Fix a procfs host directory removal regression scsi_proc_hostdir_rm() decreases a reference counter and hence must only be called once per host that is removed. This change does not require a scsi_add_host_with_dma() change since scsi_add_host_with_dma() will return 0 (success) if scsi_proc_host_add() is called. | |||||
| CVE-2023-53073 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/x86/amd/core: Always clear status for idx The variable 'status' (which contains the unhandled overflow bits) is not being properly masked in some cases, displaying the following warning: WARNING: CPU: 156 PID: 475601 at arch/x86/events/amd/core.c:972 amd_pmu_v2_handle_irq+0x216/0x270 This seems to be happening because the loop is being continued before the status bit being unset, in case x86_perf_event_set_period() returns 0. This is also causing an inconsistency because the "handled" counter is incremented, but the status bit is not cleaned. Move the bit cleaning together above, together when the "handled" counter is incremented. | |||||
| CVE-2023-53061 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix possible refcount leak in smb2_open() Reference count of acls will leak when memory allocation fails. Fix this by adding the missing posix_acl_release(). | |||||

| CVE-2023-52697 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: Intel: sof_sdw_rt_sdca_jack_common: ctx->headset_codec_dev = NULL sof_sdw_rt_sdca_jack_exit() are used by different codecs, and some of them use the same dai name. For example, rt712 and rt713 both use "rt712-sdca-aif1" and sof_sdw_rt_sdca_jack_exit(). As a result, sof_sdw_rt_sdca_jack_exit() will be called twice by mc_dailink_exit_loop(). Set ctx->headset_codec_dev = NULL; after put_device(ctx->headset_codec_dev); to avoid ctx->headset_codec_dev being put twice. | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/core: Fix ETH_P_1588 flow dissector When a PTP ethernet raw frame with a size of more than 256 bytes followed by a 0xff pattern is sent to __skb_flow_dissect, nhoff value calculation is wrong. For example: hdr->message_length takes the wrong value (0xffff) and it does not replicate real header length. In this case, 'nhoff' value was overridden and the PTP header was badly dissected. | CVE-2023-52527 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4, ipv6: Fix handling of transhdrlen in __ip{,6}_append_data() Including the transhdrlen in length is a problem when the packet is partially filled (e.g. something like send(MSG_MORE) happened previously) when appending to an IPv4 or IPv6 packet as we don't want to repeat the transport header or account for it twice. This can happen under some circumstances, such as splicing into an L2TP socket. The symptom observed is a warning in __ip6_append_data(): WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 5042 at net/ipv6/ip6_output.c:1800 __ip6_append_data.isra.0+0x1be8/0x47f0 net/ipv6/ip6_output.c:1800 that occurs when MSG_SPLICE_PAGES is used to append more data to an already partially occupied skbuff. The warning occurs when 'copy' is larger than the amount of data in the message iterator. This is because the requested length includes the transport header length when it shouldn't. This can be triggered by, for example: sfd = socket(AF_INET6, SOCK_DGRAM, IPPROTO_L2TP); bind(sfd, ...); // ::1 connect(sfd, ...); // ::1 port 7 send(sfd, buffer, 4100, MSG_MORE); sendfile(sfd, dfd, NULL, 1024); Fix this by only adding transhdrlen into the length if the write queue is empty in l2tp_ip6_sendmsg(), analogously to how UDP does things. l2tp_ip_sendmsg() looks like it won't suffer from this problem as it builds the UDP packet itself. | |||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: think-lmi: Fix reference leak If a duplicate attribute is found using kset_find_obj(), a reference to that attribute is returned which needs to be disposed accordingly using kobject_put(). Move the setting name validation into a separate function to allow for this change without having to duplicate the cleanup code for this setting. As a side note, a very similar bug was fixed in commit 7295a996fdab ("platform/x86: dell-sysman: Fix reference leak"), so it seems that the bug was copied from that driver. Compile-tested only. | |||||
