| CVE-2026-45864 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-25 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: prevent infinite loops caused by the next valid being the same When processing valid within the range [valid : pos), if valid cannot be retrieved correctly, for example, if the retrieved valid value is always the same, this can trigger a potential infinite loop, similar to the hung problem reported by syzbot [1]. Adding a check for the valid value within the loop body, and terminating the loop and returning -EINVAL if the value is the same as the current value, can prevent this. [1] INFO: task syz.4.21:6056 blocked for more than 143 seconds. | CVE-2026-54530 | 1 Pypdf Project | 1 Pypdf | 2026-06-25 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.13.0, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop. This requires extracting the text in layout mode. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.13.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54531 | 1 Pypdf Project | 1 Pypdf | 2026-06-25 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.13.0, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop. This requires merging a file with outlines into a writer. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.13.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45919 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-24 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/rt: Skip currently executing CPU in rto_next_cpu() CPU0 becomes overloaded when hosting a CPU-bound RT task, a non-CPU-bound RT task, and a CFS task stuck in kernel space. When other CPUs switch from RT to non-RT tasks, RT load balancing (LB) is triggered; with HAVE_RT_PUSH_IPI enabled, they send IPIs to CPU0 to drive the execution of rto_push_irq_work_func. During push_rt_task on CPU0, if next_task->prio < rq->donor->prio, resched_curr() sets NEED_RESCHED and after the push operation completes, CPU0 calls rto_next_cpu(). Since only CPU0 is overloaded in this scenario, rto_next_cpu() should ideally return -1 (no further IPI needed). However, multiple CPUs invoking tell_cpu_to_push() during LB increments rd->rto_loop_next. Even when rd->rto_cpu is set to -1, the mismatch between rd->rto_loop and rd->rto_loop_next forces rto_next_cpu() to restart its search from -1. With CPU0 remaining overloaded (satisfying rt_nr_migratory && rt_nr_total > 1), it gets reselected, causing CPU0 to queue irq_work to itself and send self-IPIs repeatedly. As long as CPU0 stays overloaded and other CPUs run pull_rt_tasks(), it falls into an infinite self-IPI loop, which triggers a CPU hardlockup due to continuous self-interrupts. The trigging scenario is as follows: cpu0 cpu1 cpu2 pull_rt_task tell_cpu_to_push <------------irq_work_queue_on rto_push_irq_work_func push_rt_task resched_curr(rq) pull_rt_task rto_next_cpu tell_cpu_to_push <-------------------------- atomic_inc(rto_loop_next) rd->rto_loop != next rto_next_cpu irq_work_queue_on rto_push_irq_work_func Fix redundant self-IPI by filtering the initiating CPU in rto_next_cpu(). This solution has been verified to effectively eliminate spurious self-IPIs and prevent CPU hardlockup scenarios. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54651 | 1 Pypdf Project | 1 Pypdf | 2026-06-24 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.13.1, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to an infinite loop. This requires merging a file with threads/articles into a writer. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.13.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42781 | 1 F5 | 21 Big-ip Access Policy Manager, Big-ip Advanced Firewall Manager, Big-ip Advanced Web Application Firewall and 18 more | 2026-06-23 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| When embedded Packet Velocity Acceleration (ePVA) acceleration is configured, undisclosed local ethernet traffic can cause an increase in ePVA and Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) resource utilization. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48986 | 2026-06-22 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM | ||
| pam_usb provides hardware authentication for Linux using removable media. In pam_usb 0.9.1 and earlier, usb_get_process_parent_id() can cause an infinite loop DoS because it does not initialize *ppid on failure. In pusb_local_login(), the same variable is reused as input and output in a process-tree while loop; if /proc/<pid>/stat cannot be read (for example, when an ancestor process exits during authentication), the PID is not updated and the loop does not terminate. This hangs the authenticating process (such as sudo, sshd, or login) until it is forcibly terminated. This issue has been fixed in version 0.9.2. | |||||

| When a Client SSL profile is configured with Allow Dynamic Record Sizing on a UDP virtual server, undisclosed traffic can cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to terminate. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | |||||
