| CVE-2026-80054 | 1 Dell | 1 Secure Connect Gateway | 2026-09-16 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48722 | 2026-09-15 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Nextflow is a DSL for data-driven computational pipelines. From 25.09.2-edge until 25.10.6 and 26.04.3, nextflow auth login writes Seqera Platform OIDC bearer tokens to ${NXF_HOME:-~/.nextflow}/seqera-auth.config through AuthCommandImpl.writeConfig in plugins/nf-tower/src/main/io/seqera/tower/plugin/auth/AuthCommandImpl.groovy without setting restrictive file permissions, allowing the default umask 022 to create the file with mode 0644. On a multi-user POSIX host, a local user who can traverse the victim's home directory can read seqera-auth.config and impersonate the victim against Seqera Platform within the token's scope. Single-user systems and headless CI runners that do not use the interactive login flow are not affected. This issue is fixed in 25.10.6 and 26.04.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-76159 | 2026-09-15 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource in the configuration loader of Duplicati for Windows versions before v2.4.0.0 allows a local low-privileged attacker to escalate privileges to NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM via an attacker-controlled preload.json file. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54447 | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 8.4 HIGH | ||
| garminconnect is a Python 3 API wrapper for Garmin Connect that retrieves statistics and manages activities. Prior to 0.3.5, garminconnect/client.py Client.dump creates the OAuth token directory and garmin_tokens.json without explicit owner-only modes, so a permissive umask such as 022 can leave the directory mode at 0755 and the token file mode at 0644. garmin_tokens.json contains di_refresh_token, and another unprivileged user on a shared Linux or macOS host can read the token and obtain persistent access to the victim's Garmin Connect account, including health, fitness, activity, and device data. The Garmin.login tokenstore path is affected, and a pre-existing loosely permissioned token file remains exposed until rewritten or manually restricted. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.5. | |||||
| CVE-2026-84828 | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw was found in PCS (Pacemaker Configuration System). A local attacker with membership in the 'haclient' group can exploit the 'pcs host auth --token' command to read the contents of arbitrary files on the filesystem, provided the files are shorter than 256 bytes. The file contents are read with root privileges by the pcsd daemon and can be exfiltrated by the attacker through subsequent cluster node communication. This allows disclosure of sensitive data such as API keys, tokens, or configuration secrets that would otherwise be inaccessible to the attacker. | |||||
| CVE-2024-58383 | 2026-09-14 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH | ||
| Froxlor before 2.2.0 (affected up to and including 2.2.0-rc3) generates /etc/pure-ftpd/db/mysql.conf with mode 0644 via the XML configuration templates in lib/configfiles/, even though the file contains the Froxlor SQL user's password. On systems where the parent directories are world readable (the default on Debian 12), any unprivileged local user able to execute commands or code on the host — including virtual users without SSH access who can upload PHP/CGI scripts — can read the file and obtain the Froxlor database credentials. Database access can then be leveraged to alter an administrator's password hash and TOTP seed, log in as a Froxlor administrator, and ultimately gain root privileges. Only instances configured to use pure-ftpd are affected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-87988 | 2026-09-11 | N/A | N/A | ||
| An arbitrary file access vulnerability in Mistral Vibe allows an attacker to bypass workspace restrictions through commands classified as unconditionally allowed. Missing path validation for these commands enables access to files outside the active workspace without user approval. | |||||
| CVE-2026-57843 | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM | ||
| NetBSD contains an information disclosure vulnerability in mm_open() within sys/dev/mm.c that allows unprivileged local users to obtain real kernel virtual addresses by opening world-accessible devices such as /dev/null or /dev/zero, which incorrectly receive the PK_KMEM process flag. Attackers can exploit this misconfigured flag to bypass the CANSEE_KPTR obfuscation mechanism and read kernel virtual addresses for sensitive kernel structures including struct proc, kauth_cred, filedesc, and vmspace via sysctl KERN_PROC queries. | |||||
| CVE-2026-19583 | 2026-09-11 | N/A | 9.9 CRITICAL | ||
| Velociraptor allows some sensitive artifacts to be gated by additional permissions. For example, the Linux.Sys.BashShell artifact allows arbitrary command execution on endpoints, and so it requires the EXECVE permission to schedule. However, no such check was implemented for client monitoring artifacts. Additionally there was no requirement that client monitoring artifacts carry the CLIENT_EVENTS type. This allows any user who can schedule client monitoring artifacts to also schedule otherwise restricted artifacts (such as Linux.Sys.BashShell). | |||||
| CVE-2026-79783 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 3.6 LOW | ||
| rclone before 1.74.4 fails to mask special permission bits when applying source-supplied mode metadata in the local backend, allowing attackers to set setuid/setgid bits on attacker-controlled files. When copying with metadata preservation from an untrusted remote, attackers can plant a setuid binary that escalates privileges to root if rclone runs as root, or to the service account user otherwise. | |||||
| CVE-2026-24049 | 1 Wheel Project | 1 Wheel | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| wheel is a command line tool for manipulating Python wheel files, as defined in PEP 427. In versions 0.40.0 through 0.46.1, the unpack function is vulnerable to file permission modification through mishandling of file permissions after extraction. The logic blindly trusts the filename from the archive header for the chmod operation, even though the extraction process itself might have sanitized the path. Attackers can craft a malicious wheel file that, when unpacked, changes the permissions of critical system files (e.g., /etc/passwd, SSH keys, config files), allowing for Privilege Escalation or arbitrary code execution by modifying now-writable scripts. This issue has been fixed in version 0.46.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-50544 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 6.3 MEDIUM | ||
| NortheBridge/luminalshine is a Sunshine-compatible game stream host for Moonlight. Prior to version 26.05.0-rc4, a latent gap exists on a default install, the file at `src/platform/windows/misc.cpp` lives at `C:\ProgramData\LuminalShine\config\apps.json` and is created by the `SYSTEM` service. Under Windows' default `C:\ProgramData` inheritance, that gives `BUILTIN\Users` only Read+Execute — not writable — so the canonical EoP doesn't actually trigger on a vanilla install. Version 26.05.0-rc4 contains a patch for the issue. As a workaround, use default condition DACLs for `ProgramData`. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48790 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Turso CLI is the command line interface (CLI) to the open-source database Turso. Versions prior to 1.0.26 persist the user's Turso platform JWT to `settings.json` using Viper's default `configPermissions` of `0o644`, leaving the credential file world-readable on standard Linux and macOS systems. Any other local UID on the host can read the file and recover the platform JWT, which grants full Turso platform access scoped to the user's organizations. Version 1.0.26 patches the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-79617 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH | ||
| Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Software Technologies Research Institute Pardus LightDM Greeter allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects Pardus LightDM Greeter: before 0.4.15. | |||||
| CVE-2026-80112 | 2026-09-08 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| PassMark PerformanceTest before 11.1 build 1012, BurnInTest before 11.1 build 1000, and OSForensics before 11.1 build 1016 contain an improper access control vulnerability in the DirectIo64.sys kernel driver that allows unprivileged local users to perform privileged hardware operations by opening a handle to the device object created without a security descriptor. Attackers can issue IOCTLs through the permissive default Windows ACL applied to the device to access restricted hardware operations regardless of privilege or integrity level. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82312 | 2026-09-08 | N/A | N/A | ||
| OpenVPN 2.0.0 through 2.6.22 and 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.6 on Windows allows local authenticated users to cause a denial of service via a NULL DACL on named IPC objects | |||||
| CVE-2026-10840 | 2026-09-06 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH | ||
| A flaw was found in the OpenShift Pipelines operator. The tekton-scheduler-rolebinding ClusterRoleBinding grants the system:authenticated group write access to Kueue and cert-manager custom resources via the tekton-scheduler-role ClusterRole. When Kueue or cert-manager CRDs are present on the cluster, any authenticated user can disrupt workload scheduling, tamper with scheduling priorities, delete other tenants' Workload objects, or induce cert-manager to overwrite TLS Secrets including the default ingress controller certificate. | |||||
| CVE-2026-14478 | 1 Autodesk | 1 Installer | 2026-09-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A maliciously created executable, when executed on the victim's machine, may allow a local low-privileged attacker to inject unauthenticated IPC messages into named pipes, modify pipe permissions or ownership, and potentially impact confidentiality, integrity, and availability. | |||||
| CVE-2026-78604 | 1 Elastic | 1 Elastic Agent | 2026-09-04 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource (CWE-732) in Elastic Agent can lead to local privilege escalation via Replace Binaries (CAPEC-642). On Windows systems where Elastic Agent is installed in unprivileged mode, resources used by the agent service are created with access controls broader than required. A local user could take advantage of this to cause the service to execute code of their choosing, ultimately obtaining SYSTEM-level privileges on the host. | |||||
| CVE-2021-43613 | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| An issue was discovered in SysPasswordDxe in Insyde InsydeH2O. User and administrator password hashes are exposed in runtime UEFI variables, leading to escalation of privilege | |||||
