| CVE-2025-36398 | 1 Ibm | 4 Ds8900f, Ds8900f Firmware, Ds8a00 and 1 more | 2026-09-29 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| IBM System Storage DS8A00 10.1.3.0 through 10.11.35.0 and IBM DS8900F 89.40.83.0 through 89.44.25.0 could allow an authenticated user to read or modify another user's command history due to an externally controlled filename. | |||||
| CVE-2026-92164 | 2026-09-29 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Streamlink is a CLI utility which pipes video streams from various services into a video player. Prior to 8.6.0, HTTPSession mounts a FileAdapter for the file scheme and inherits redirect handling from requests.Session without rejecting cross-protocol redirects. A remote server controlling an HTTP or HTTPS URL reached by Streamlink can return a redirect to a local file URL, causing HTTPSession to read the local file and return its contents to the response consumer. This bypasses the direct file URL checks added for HLS and DASH content because the manifest contains an ordinary network URL and the scheme transition occurs later during fetch handling. The flaw applies to every request made through HTTPSession, and a segment fetch can place the local file contents into stream output. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77139 | 2026-09-28 | N/A | N/A | ||
| The extension fails to validate a client-supplied template element key before using it to build file paths for saving and deleting Mask template files. An authenticated backend user with access to the Mask module can supply a key containing path traversal sequences to create or delete .html files outside the configured template directory. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77247 | 1 Mcp-atlassian | 1 Mcp Atlassian | 2026-09-28 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, Jira and Confluence upload tools interpret caller-controlled path arguments on the MCP server and open those files before sending them as attachments. In remote or multi-user deployments, a permitted client can disclose host files without shell or direct filesystem access. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through AttachmentsMixin.upload_attachment, AttachmentsMixin.upload_attachments, file_path, file_paths, and jira update_issue, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0. | |||||
| CVE-2024-13984 | 2026-09-26 | N/A | N/A | ||
| QiAnXin TianQing Management Center versions up to and including 6.7.0.4130 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the rptsvr component that allows unauthenticated attackers to upload files to arbitrary locations on the server. The /rptsvr/upload endpoint fails to sanitize the filename parameter in multipart form-data requests, enabling path traversal. This allows attackers to place executable files in web-accessible directories, potentially leading to remote code execution. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-08-23 UTC. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77621 | 2026-09-26 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Vector is a high-performance observability data pipeline. From 0.10.0 until 0.57.0, the file sink renders its templated path from event fields and opens the result without confining it to an intended directory. When an untrusted source supplies an event field used by the path template, the value can contain an absolute path or parent-directory traversal, causing Vector to create parent directories and create or overwrite files outside the intended location with the Vector process privileges. The resulting file write can modify sensitive files and can lead to code execution when a scheduled task, authorization file, or subsequently executed script is targeted. This issue is fixed in version 0.57.0. | |||||
| CVE-2025-10058 | 2026-09-26 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH | ||
| The WP Import – Ultimate CSV XML Importer for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the upload_function() function in all versions up to, and including, 7.27. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). | |||||
| CVE-2026-2604 | 2026-09-25 | N/A | 5.6 MEDIUM | ||
| A flaw was found in evolution-data-server. Inconsistent comparison logic in the addressbook file backend allows a Flatpak application with D-Bus access to craft a malicious URI containing directory traversal sequences. This URI is stored without proper validation during contact creation or modification. Later, during contact deletion, the URI is processed with a less strict check, leading to the deletion of arbitrary files on the host filesystem. This could potentially include critical Flatpak override files. | |||||
| CVE-2025-67461 | 1 Zoom | 1 Rooms | 2026-09-25 | N/A | 5.0 MEDIUM |
| External control of file name or path in Zoom Rooms for macOS before version 6.6.0 may allow an authenticated user to conduct a disclosure of information via local access. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54584 | 2026-09-25 | N/A | N/A | ||
| mport is the MidnightBSD Package Manager. mport before 2.7.8 used TMPDIR while extracting package metafiles, including when running as root or in setuid/setgid contexts. An attacker able to control the environment for a privileged mport invocation could redirect temporary metadata extraction to an attacker-controlled location. PR 123 ignores unsafe TMPDIR values in privileged contexts and rejects empty TMPDIR. This issue has been patched in version 2.7.8. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53581 | 2026-09-25 | N/A | 9.0 CRITICAL | ||
| OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.9 of opnsense/core and version 26.4_20 of BE/opnsense/core, a path traversal vulnerability in the NTP configuration module allows an attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on the system as the root user. By manipulating the GPS or PPS serial port parameter, an attacker with access to the NTP configuration can escape the intended directory and force the system to write user-controlled data to any file on the filesystem. Version 26.1.9 of opnsense/core and version 26.4_20 of BE/opnsense/core patch the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-61647 | 2026-09-24 | N/A | N/A | ||
| NotebookLM MCP is an MCP server and HTTP service for interacting with Google NotebookLM and exporting generated content to local vault directories. Versions 1.6.0 through 2.0.2 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the `POST /batch-to-vault` endpoint, also exposed through the `batch_to_vault` MCP tool beginning in version 1.7.0, because attacker-controlled `vault_dir` and `slug_prefix` values can cause Markdown and JSON files to be written outside the intended vault directory to any location writable by the server process. Version 2.0.3 sanitizes `slug_prefix` and supports vault containment when `NOTEBOOKLM_VAULT_ROOT` is configured; containment is not enabled if that variable is unset. Users unable to upgrade should run the server as a dedicated unprivileged account restricted to the intended vault, keep the HTTP endpoint limited to localhost, and validate `vault_dir` values supplied by LLMs processing untrusted content. | |||||
| CVE-2026-50158 | 2026-09-24 | N/A | 7.7 HIGH | ||
| yutu is an AI-powered toolkit for managing and growing YouTube channels. Prior to 0.10.9, the caption-download MCP tool accepts a caller-controlled file parameter through cmd/caption/download.go and passes it to Caption.Download() in pkg/caption/caption.go, where os.Create() creates or truncates that path without using the pkg.Root confinement boundary backed by YUTU_ROOT. A principal able to invoke caption-download, including a local HTTP client when the MCP server runs with its default authentication-disabled configuration, can write downloaded caption bytes to any path writable by the yutu process outside YUTU_ROOT. This can overwrite application files, configuration, shell startup files, logs, or data and can cause persistent code execution or denial of service depending on the selected writable target. Live caption retrieval also requires usable service credentials and an accessible caption identifier. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.9. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53940 | 2026-09-24 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Conda is a system-level binary package and environment manager that runs on major operating systems and platforms. Prior to 26.5.2, parse_entry_point_def in conda/common/path/python.py accepted an unvalidated entry-point command from a noarch:python package's info/link.json metadata. CreatePythonEntryPointAction in conda/core/path_actions.py interpolated that command into target_short_path, and PrefixPathAction.target_full_path joined it to the installation prefix without verifying that the result remained under the intended bin or Scripts directory. create_python_entry_point in conda/gateways/disk/create.py then wrote an executable wrapper to the resulting path. A malicious package could use path separators, traversal segments, or an absolute command path to write outside the prefix or overwrite another in-prefix entry point during default install and environment transactions. Out-of-prefix writes require the target parent directory to exist, while an overwritten entry point can execute attacker-controlled Python when later invoked with the installing user's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 26.5.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-85668 | 2026-09-24 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Xinference (affected commit 4a94832, v3.x) contains an unauthenticated arbitrary-path file read vulnerability in the POST /v1/models/llm/auto-register endpoint, which accepts a caller-supplied model_path parameter without authentication or path confinement. The endpoint reads and parses config.json, tokenizer_config.json, and chat_template.jinja files at the supplied path and reflects the parsed content back to the caller, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to probe the server filesystem and extract content of files with those names in any directory. | |||||
| CVE-2026-13248 | 2026-09-24 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| An Authenticated Remote Code Execution via Arbitrary File Write in the Intermec Fingerprint Command Interface vulnerability in the web management interface in Honeywell PD45 Industrial Printer version F10.19.010040, allows an authenticated user with access to the admin or itadmin account to submit commands written in the Intermec Fingerprint programming language directly to the printer ’s internal command interpreter. An attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to the execution of malicious files and commands. Honeywell also recommends updating to the most recent firmware version, Honeywell PD45 Industrial Printer firmware F10.22.030745, which includes a fix for this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2026-69383 | 1 Microsoft | 5 Windows 11 23h2, Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2 and 2 more | 2026-09-24 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
| External control of file name or path in Windows Shell allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | |||||
| CVE-2026-83603 | 2026-09-23 | N/A | 8.4 HIGH | ||
| Netdata is an open source observability tool. Prior to 2.10.4, the setuid-root ndsudo helper command fail2ban-client-status-socket in src/collectors/utils/ndsudo.c accepts a caller-controlled --socket_path from the low-privileged netdata service account. The account can direct root fail2ban-client to a malicious UNIX socket, and fail2ban/client/csocket.py CSocket.receive() passes the returned data to pickle.loads(), allowing attacker-controlled code to execute as root on systems with fail2ban-client installed. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.4 and nightly build 2.10.0-782-nightly. | |||||
| CVE-2026-85684 | 2026-09-23 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL | ||
| marker through 2.0.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the FastAPI /marker/upload handler that fails to sanitize the file.filename parameter. Unauthenticated attackers can supply filenames containing directory traversal sequences to write arbitrary files to any location or delete existing files on the system. | |||||
| CVE-2026-90946 | 2026-09-23 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| DeepWiki-Open through commit d92819a contains an arbitrary file read vulnerability in the unauthenticated /ws/chat WebSocket endpoint that accepts repo_url as a filesystem path with no containment. Attackers can supply arbitrary directory paths to read all files with supported extensions including Python, JavaScript, YAML, and JSON files containing hardcoded secrets and credentials. | |||||
