| Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.9.0, administrative role changes and user deletions do not iterate SESSION_POOL to disconnect affected sessions. As a result, a user whose admin role has been revoked retains admin privileges within their existing Socket.IO session for as long as they keep the connection alive (via automatic heartbeats). The gap is exclusive to the Socket.IO session cache. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.0. | |||||

| Pocket ID is an OIDC provider that allows users to authenticate with their passkeys to your services. Prior to 2.6.0, The createTokenFromRefreshToken function (oidc_service.go) validates the refresh token's cryptographic integrity but does not re-validate the user's current authorization state before issuing new tokens. This allows (1) the client to refresh the token indefinitely after authorization revocation, (2) the refresh token to continue to work after the account is disabled, and (3) the token to work after the client is removed from the group. | FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.217, the /user-setup/{hash} endpoint accepts a 60-character random invite_hash to set a new user's password. The endpoint performs no expiration check — the hash remains valid indefinitely until consumed. Combined with realistic hash-leakage scenarios (forwarded invite emails, HTTP referrer to external CDNs on the setup page, server-side log exposure, abandoned invite emails in shared inboxes), this enables unauthenticated permanent account takeover months or years after invite issuance. If the leaked invite was sent to an admin, the takeover yields admin access. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.217. | |||||

| pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python. Versions up to and including 0.5.0b3.dev97 cache `role` and `permission` in the session at login and continues to authorize requests using these cached values, even after an admin changes the user's role/permissions in the database. As a result, an already logged-in user can keep old (revoked) privileges until logout/session expiry, enabling continued privileged actions. This is a core authorization/session-consistency issue and is not resolved by toggling an optional security feature. | blueprintUE is a tool to help Unreal Engine developers. Prior to 4.2.0, when a user changes their password via the profile edit page, or when a password reset is completed via the reset link, neither operation invalidates existing authenticated sessions for that user. A server-side session store associates userID → session; the current password change/reset flow updates only the password column in the users table and does not destroy or mark invalid any active sessions. As a result, an attacker who has already compromised a session retains full access to the account indefinitely — even after the legitimate user has detected the intrusion and changed their password — until the session's natural expiry time (configured as SESSION_GC_MAXLIFETIME, defaulting to 86400 seconds / 24 hours, with SESSION_LIFETIME=0 meaning persistent until browser close or GC, whichever is later). | WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `verifyTokenSocket()` function in `plugin/YPTSocket/functions.php` has its token timeout validation commented out, causing WebSocket tokens to never expire despite being generated with a 12-hour timeout. This allows captured or legitimately obtained tokens to provide permanent WebSocket access, even after user accounts are deleted, banned, or demoted from admin. Admin tokens grant access to real-time connection data for all online users including IP addresses, browser info, and page locations. Commit 5d5237121bf82c24e9e0fdd5bc1699f1157783c5 fixes the issue. | |||||
