| CVE-2025-66626 | 1 Argoproj | 1 Argo Workflows | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. Versions 3.6.13 and below and versions 3.7.0 through 3.7.4, contain unsafe untar code that handles symbolic links in archives. Concretely, the computation of a link's target and the subsequent check are flawed. An attacker can overwrite the file /var/run/argo/argoexec with a script of their choice, which would be executed at the pod's start. The patch deployed against CVE-2025-62156 is ineffective against malicious archives containing symbolic links. This issue is fixed in versions 3.6.14 and 3.7.5. | |||||

| A link following vulnerability has been reported to affect several QNAP operating system versions. The remote attackers can then exploit the vulnerability to traverse the file system to unintended locations. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following versions: QTS 5.2.8.3350 build 20251216 and later QuTS hero h5.3.2.3354 build 20251225 and later QuTS hero h5.2.8.3350 build 20251216 and later | |||||
| CVE-2025-65843 | 1 Acustica-audio | 1 Aquarius | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.7 HIGH |
| Aquarius Desktop 3.0.069 for macOS contains an insecure file handling vulnerability in its support data archive generation feature. The application follows symbolic links placed inside the ~/Library/Logs/Aquarius directory and treats them as regular files. When building the support ZIP, Aquarius recursively enumerates logs using a JUCE directory iterator configured to follow symlinks, and later writes file data without validating whether the target is a symbolic link. A local attacker can exploit this behavior by planting symlinks to arbitrary filesystem locations, resulting in unauthorized disclosure or modification of arbitrary files. When chained with the associated HelperTool privilege escalation issue, root-owned files may also be exposed. | |||||
| CVE-2025-64437 | 1 Kubevirt | 1 Kubevirt | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.0 MEDIUM |
| KubeVirt is a virtual machine management add-on for Kubernetes. In versions before 1.5.3 and 1.6.1, the virt-handler does not verify whether the launcher-sock is a symlink or a regular file. This oversight can be exploited, for example, to change the ownership of arbitrary files on the host node to the unprivileged user with UID 107 (the same user used by virt-launcher) thus, compromising the CIA (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability) of data on the host. To successfully exploit this vulnerability, an attacker should be in control of the file system of the virt-launcher pod. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.5.3 and 1.6.1. | |||||
| CVE-2025-63946 | 1 Tencent | 1 Pcmanager | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| A privilege escalation (PE) vulnerability in the Tencent PC Manager app thru 17.10.28554.205 on Windows devices enables a local user to execute programs with elevated privileges. However, execution requires that the local user is able to successfully exploit a race condition. | |||||
| CVE-2025-63945 | 1 Tencent | 1 Ioa | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| A privilege escalation (PE) vulnerability in the Tencent iOA app thru 210.9.28693.621001 on Windows devices enables a local user to execute programs with elevated privileges. However, execution requires that the local user is able to successfully exploit a race condition. | |||||
| CVE-2025-62676 | 1 Fortinet | 1 Forticlient | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| An Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') vulnerability [CWE-59] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiClientWindows 7.4.0 through 7.4.4, FortiClientWindows 7.2.0 through 7.2.12, FortiClientWindows 7.0 all versions may allow a local low-privilege attacker to perform an arbitrary file write with elevated permissions via crafted named pipe messages. | |||||
| CVE-2025-62364 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.2 MEDIUM | ||
| text-generation-webui is an open-source web interface for running Large Language Models. In versions through 3.13, a Local File Inclusion vulnerability exists in the character picture upload feature. An attacker can upload a text file containing a symbolic link to an arbitrary file path. When the application processes the upload, it follows the symbolic link and serves the contents of the targeted file through the web interface. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to read sensitive files on the server, potentially exposing system configurations, credentials, and other confidential information. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.14. No known workarounds exist. | |||||
| CVE-2025-62363 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| yt-grabber-tui is a terminal user interface application for downloading videos. In versions before 1.0-rc, the application allows users to configure the path to the yt-dlp executable via the path_to_yt_dlp configuration setting. An attacker with write access to the configuration file or the filesystem location of the configured executable can replace the executable with malicious code or create a symlink to an arbitrary executable. When the application invokes yt-dlp, the malicious code is executed with the privileges of the user running yt-grabber-tui. This vulnerability has been patched in version 1.0-rc. | |||||
| CVE-2025-60710 | 1 Microsoft | 3 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2, Windows Server 2025 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in Host Process for Windows Tasks allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | |||||
| CVE-2025-5718 | 1 Axis | 233 A1210 \(-b\), A1214, A1601 and 230 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| The ACAP Application framework could allow privilege escalation through a symlink attack. This vulnerability can only be exploited if the Axis device is configured to allow the installation of unsigned ACAP applications, and if an attacker convinces the victim to install a malicious ACAP application. | |||||
| CVE-2025-5474 | 1 2brightsparks | 1 Syncbackfree | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH |
| 2BrightSparks SyncBackFree Link Following Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of 2BrightSparks SyncBackFree. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. User interaction on the part of an administrator is also required. The specific flaw exists within the Mirror functionality. By creating a junction, an attacker can abuse the service to delete arbitrary files. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-26962. | |||||
| CVE-2025-5296 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.3 HIGH | ||
| CWE-59: Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') vulnerability exists that could cause arbitrary data to be written to protected locations, potentially leading to escalation of privilege, arbitrary file corruption, exposure of application and system information or persistent denial of service when a low-privileged attacker tampers with the installation folder. | |||||
| CVE-2025-59510 | 1 Microsoft | 13 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 10 more | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |

| CVE-2025-58373 | 1 Roocode | 1 Roo Code | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| Roo Code is an AI-powered autonomous coding agent that lives in users' editors. Versions 3.25.23 and below contain a vulnerability where .rooignore protections could be bypassed using symlinks. This allows an attacker with write access to the workspace to trick the extension into reading files that were intended to be excluded. As a result, sensitive files such as .env or configuration files could be exposed. An attacker able to modify files within the workspace could gain unauthorized access to sensitive information by bypassing .rooignore rules. This could include secrets, configuration details, or other excluded project data. This is fixed in version 3.26.0. | |||||
| CVE-2025-57749 | 1 N8n | 1 N8n | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| n8n is a workflow automation platform. Before 1.106.0, a symlink traversal vulnerability was discovered in the Read/Write File node in n8n. While the node attempts to restrict access to sensitive directories and files, it does not properly account for symbolic links (symlinks). An attacker with the ability to create symlinks—such as by using the Execute Command node—could exploit this to bypass the intended directory restrictions and read from or write to otherwise inaccessible paths. Users of n8n.cloud are not impacted. Affected users should update to version 1.106.0 or later. | |||||
