CVE-2026-6443 2026-10-26 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
All plugins by Essentialplugin for WordPress are vulnerable to an injected backdoor in various versions. This is due to the plugin being sold to a malicious threat actor that embedded a backdoor in all of the plugin's they acquired. This makes it possible for the threat actor to maintain a persistent backdoor and inject spam into the affected sites.
CVE-2026-45321 16 Abhishake1, Agentworkhq, Antoinebcx and 13 more 171 Supersurkhet\/cli, Supersurkhet\/sdk, Taskflow-corp\/cli and 168 more 2026-10-26 N/A 9.6 CRITICAL
On 2026-05-11, between approximately 19:20 and 19:26 UTC, 84 malicious versions across 42 @tanstack/* packages were published to the npm registry. The publishes were authenticated via the legitimate GitHub Actions OIDC trusted-publisher binding for TanStack/router, but the publish workflow itself was not modified. The attacker chained three known vulnerability classes — a pull_request_target "Pwn Request" misconfiguration, GitHub Actions cache poisoning across the fork↔base trust boundary, and runtime memory extraction of the OIDC token from the Actions runner process — to publish credential-stealing malware under a trusted identity. Each affected package received exactly two malicious versions, published a few minutes apart.
CVE-2026-8398 2 Disc-soft, Microsoft 2 Daemon Tools, Windows 2026-10-26 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
A supply chain attack compromised the official installation packages of DAEMON Tools Lite (Windows versions 12.5.0.2421 through 12.5.0.2434), distributed from the legitimate website daemon-tools.cc between approximately April 8, 2026, and May 5, 2026. Attackers gained unauthorized access to the vendor's (AVB Disc Soft) build or distribution infrastructure and trojanized three binaries: DTHelper.exe, DiscSoftBusServiceLite.exe, and DTShellHlp.exe. These files were digitally signed with the legitimate AVB Disc Soft code-signing certificate, allowing the malicious installers to appear trustworthy and bypass signature-based detection.
CVE-2026-46412 2026-10-24 N/A 10.0 CRITICAL
@beproduct/nestjs-auth is a NestJS authentication module for BeProduct IDS (Identity Server) with OpenID Connect support. Between 2026-05-11 20:19 UTC and 22:56 UTC, an attacker used a compromised npm publish token to publish 18 malicious versions of `@beproduct/nestjs-auth` (0.1.2 through 0.1.19). The postinstall payload attempted to harvest npm tokens (from `~/.npmrc`); GitHub personal access tokens, OAuth tokens (`gho_*`), and Actions OIDC tokens; AWS credentials (from environment variables and `~/.aws/credentials`); HashiCorp Vault tokens; and other secrets present in environment variables. Version `0.1.20` is a clean republish from the original `0.1.1` source tree. Anyone who installed any version in the range `>=0.1.2 <=0.1.19` should remove the package and clean the npm cache; install the clean version; rotate every credential present in the install environment, including all npm publish tokens, all GitHub PATs and OAuth tokens, AWS access keys, HashiCorp Vault tokens, and any other secret that was in env vars or config files at install time; scan affected hosts for indicators of compromise and, if any are found, treat the host as compromised and reimage; and check committed repository history for unexpected additions in `.claude/` or `.vscode/` directories. The worm is known to commit `setup.mjs` + hook configs to PR branches via automated agent runtimes.
CVE-2026-67595 2026-10-24 N/A 8.1 HIGH
VaahCMS versions 2.0.0 through 2.3.4 contain a malicious obfuscated JavaScript payload embedded in the Blade template responsible for rendering security OTP emails, allowing remote attackers to execute unauthorized code in any browser that renders the affected email template with JavaScript enabled. The payload establishes a WebSocket connection to a hardcoded command-and-control endpoint, installs a password-field keylogger using MutationObserver to capture dynamically added inputs, scrapes WhatsApp Web DOM content, and accepts remote commands to redirect or overwrite the rendered page.
CVE-2026-34841 1 Usebruno 1 Bruno 2026-10-23 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Bruno is an open source IDE for exploring and testing APIs. Prior to 3.2.1, Bruno was affected by a supply chain attack involving compromised versions of the axios npm package, which introduced a hidden dependency deploying a cross-platform Remote Access Trojan (RAT). Users of @usebruno/cli who ran npm install between 00:21 UTC and ~03:30 UTC on March 31, 2026 may have been impacted. Upgrade to 3.2.1
CVE-2026-48158 2026-10-23 N/A N/A
use-context-selector is a React useContextSelector hook in userland Between 2026-05-18 15:57:18 and 2026-05-19 15:24:34, the default branch contained malicious commits 9d8481a513b7b0d1c0941b220c69b25de748641b through 6f2dae054ca014068bdbbb4db96006424d674124 that executed remote attacker-controlled code on developer machines during `npm install`. The commits were removed by force-push, but local clones, forks, and direct-SHA URLs may still contain them, and `npm install` against an affected checkout will still execute the code today. The package was not published to npm. `src/install.js` was added and wired into the `postinstall` script. It fetched a JavaScript payload from an attacker-controlled HTTPS endpoint (configurable via an environment variable), disabled TLS verification, and evaluated the response as code with `require` available. Execution was deliberately skipped on CI and cloud/serverless environments, targeting developer workstations. The second-stage payload was attacker-hosted and cannot be reconstructed. Assume full compromise of anything reachable from a Node process with the user's permissions. Those who ran `npm install` against an affected checkout on a developer machine on or after 2026-05-18 15:57:18 should treat the machine as compromised, rotate every credential the machine could reach, audit account activity** since 2026-05-18 15:57:18, and clean local clones.

CVE-2026-111862 2026-10-20 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Rank Math SEO PRO for WordPress is affected by a supply-chain compromise in a subset of version 3.0.123 packages downloaded or updated between October 15, 2026 at 20:02 UTC and October 16, 2026 at 07:12 UTC. Rank Math states that the affected plugin files contained malware that could compromise a website if the plugin was activated and directs sites that activated an affected package to treat the website as compromised. The malware may establish persistent access, communicate with rank1cdn[.]com, recreate hidden backdoors on page visits, and expose WordPress credentials, database credentials, API keys, and other secrets accessible to the web server. Rank Math identifies three malicious wp_options keys, hidden PHP backdoors, unauthorized administrator accounts, a fake WordPress core file, PHP-executable .cache files, and a system cron marker as incident indicators. Only packages obtained during the vendor-confirmed window are claimed as affected; version 3.0.123 alone is not sufficient to establish compromise. Rank Math removed the affected files and released version 3.0.124 as the clean replacement.
CVE-2025-59144 2026-10-19 N/A N/A
debug is a JavaScript debugging utility. On 8 September 2025, the npm publishing account for debug was taken over after a phishing attack. Version 4.4.2 was published, functionally identical to the previous patch version, but with a malware payload added attempting to redirect cryptocurrency transactions to the attacker's own addresses from within browser environments. Local environments, server environments, command line applications, etc. are not affected. If the package was used in a browser context (e.g. a direct <script> inclusion, or via a bundling tool such as Babel, Rollup, Vite, Next.js, etc.) there is a chance the malware still exists and such bundles will need to be rebuilt. The malware seemingly only targets cryptocurrency transactions and wallets such as MetaMask. npm removed the offending package from the registry over the course of the day on 8 September, preventing further downloads from npm proper. On 13 September, the package owner published new patch versions to help cache-bust those using private registries who might still have the compromised version cached. Users should upgrade to the latest patch version, completely remove their node_modules directory, clean their package manager's global cache, and rebuild any browser bundles from scratch. Those operating private registries or registry mirrors should purge the offending versions from any caches. This issue has been resolved in 4.4.3.
CVE-2026-77651 2026-10-18 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
The arrayref crate 0.3.10 for Rust can trigger execution of malicious code when compiling a project that uses the crate, because it has a rogue dependency that registers with a command-and-control server to offer arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2026-77649 2026-10-18 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
The internment crate 0.8.7 for Rust can trigger execution of malicious code when compiling a project that uses the crate, because it has a rogue dependency that registers with a command-and-control server to offer arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2026-77650 2026-10-18 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
The append-only-vec crate 0.1.9 for Rust can trigger execution of malicious code when compiling a project that uses the crate, because it has a rogue dependency that registers with a command-and-control server to offer arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2026-48027 1 Nx 1 Nx Console 2026-10-14 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Nx Console is the user interface for Nx & Lerna. On 19 May 2026, a malicious version of Nx Console, 18.95.0, was published at 12:30 PM UTC and removed soon after at 12:48 PM UTC, leaving it available for ~18 minutes in Visual Studio Marketplace. For OpenVSX, the problem was detected later, and the compromised version was available from 12:33 UTC to 13:09 UTC (~36 minutes). Version 18.100.0 of Nx Console is not compromised and users may remediate by upgrading to that version.
CVE-2025-59145 2026-09-30 N/A N/A
color-name is a JSON with CSS color names. On 8 September 2025, an npm publishing account for color-name was taken over after a phishing attack. Version 2.0.1 was published, functionally identical to the previous patch version, but with a malware payload added attempting to redirect cryptocurrency transactions to the attacker's own addresses from within browser environments. See references below for more information on the payload. npm removed the offending package from the registry over the course of the day on 8 September, preventing further downloads from npm proper. On 13 September, the package owner published new patch versions to help cache-bust those using private registries who might still have the compromised version cached. Users should update to the latest patch version, completely remove their node_modules directory, clean their package manager's global cache, and rebuild any browser bundles from scratch. Those operating private registries or registry mirrors should purge the offending versions from any caches. This issue is resolved in 2.0.2.
CVE-2025-59374 1 Asus 1 Live Update 2026-09-25 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
"UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED" Certain versions of the ASUS Live Update client were distributed with unauthorized modifications introduced through a supply chain compromise. The modified builds could cause devices meeting specific targeting conditions to perform unintended actions. Only devices that met these conditions and installed the compromised versions were affected. The Live Update client has already reached End-of-Support (EOS) in October 2021, and no currently supported devices or products are affected by this issue.
CVE-2026-97230 2026-09-25 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
IO::Socket::SSL::SelfCertificate versions 1.00 for Perl contains malware which executes Python code from an obfuscated URL. The generate_certificate runs a Python script saved as a certificate file. The pyhton script attempts to retrieve code from a hardcoded http URL that is obfuscated with base64 encoding and run the response body directly. The impact is that arbitrary code can be invoked as the user, without a dropped script being saved on the affected host. The releases have no test scripts nor build hooks. The intention may have been to trigger the payload after installation. The dropper script is in lib/Crypt/SelfCertificate/sample/cert.pem. This is similar to CVE-2026-95831 for the module Crypt::SelfCertificate. The SHA-256 digests of the files are ba24ee8ec3b7f47f65bed62e16fb413ace50653cf44bd8ea90914390922831e0 IO-Socket-SSL-SelfCertificate-1.00.tar.gz 821d38830e5eb8607738421c25ac25f59fff02a6ab67daa32fbd020429454dac IO-Socket-SSL-SelfCertificate-1.00/lib/IO/Socket/SSL/SelfCertificate/sample/cert.pem d483cb7b23b7271cb11cf242bff4a2e1c02df0b9525eb0429abeea8961c399d5 IO-Socket-SSL-SelfCertificate-1.00-upload.tar.gz
