CVE-2026-18718 2026-10-23 N/A 7.0 HIGH
Ghidra contains an arbitrary code execution vulnerability in the Swift demangler analyzer that allows an attacker to execute arbitrary binaries by supplying a malicious Ghidra project with a crafted Swift tool directory path. When a victim opens the attacker-supplied project, SwiftDemanglerAnalyzer restores the persisted Swift binary directory from project state and SwiftNativeDemangler executes the resolved binary without integrity or signature verification, causing attacker-controlled executables to run under the Ghidra process user with no prompt or confirmation.

PDFsam Enhanced Uncontrolled Search Path Element Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows phyiscally-present attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of PDFsam Enhanced. An attacker must first obtain the ability to mount a malicious drive onto the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the configuration of OpenSSL. The product loads an OpenSSL configuration file from an unsecured location. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-27867.

CVE-2025-1131 1 Sangoma 2 Asterisk, Certified Asterisk 2026-10-19 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the safe_asterisk script included with the Asterisk toolkit package. When Asterisk is started via this script (common in SysV init or FreePBX environments), it sources all .sh files located in /etc/asterisk/startup.d/ as root, without validating ownership or permissions. Non-root users with legitimate write access to /etc/asterisk can exploit this behaviour by placing malicious scripts in the startup.d directory, which will then execute with root privileges upon service restart.
CVE-2025-24842 2026-10-19 N/A 6.7 MEDIUM
Uncontrolled search path for the Intel(R) System Support Utility before version 4.1.0 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with a privileged user combined with a high complexity attack may enable local code execution.
