CVE-2021-4028 2 Linux, Suse 2 Linux Kernel, Linux Enterprise 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A flaw in the Linux kernel's implementation of RDMA communications manager listener code allowed an attacker with local access to setup a socket to listen on a high port allowing for a list element to be used after free. Given the ability to execute code, a local attacker could leverage this use-after-free to crash the system or possibly escalate privileges on the system.
CVE-2021-4022 1 Rizin 1 Rizin 2026-06-17 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found in rizin. The bug involves an ELF64 binary for the HPPA architecture. When a specially crafted binarygets analysed by rizin, it causes rizin to crash by freeing an uninitialized (and potentially user controlled, depending on the build) memory address.
CVE-2021-47669 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: vxcan: vxcan_xmit: fix use after free bug After calling netif_rx_ni(skb), dereferencing skb is unsafe. Especially, the canfd_frame cfd which aliases skb memory is accessed after the netif_rx_ni().
CVE-2021-47653 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: davinci: vpif: fix use-after-free on driver unbind The driver allocates and registers two platform device structures during probe, but the devices were never deregistered on driver unbind. This results in a use-after-free on driver unbind as the device structures were allocated using devres and would be freed by driver core when remove() returns. Fix this by adding the missing deregistration calls to the remove() callback and failing probe on registration errors. Note that the platform device structures must be freed using a proper release callback to avoid leaking associated resources like device names.
CVE-2021-47639 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86/mmu: Zap _all_ roots when unmapping gfn range in TDP MMU Zap both valid and invalid roots when zapping/unmapping a gfn range, as KVM must ensure it holds no references to the freed page after returning from the unmap operation. Most notably, the TDP MMU doesn't zap invalid roots in mmu_notifier callbacks. This leads to use-after-free and other issues if the mmu_notifier runs to completion while an invalid root zapper yields as KVM fails to honor the requirement that there must be _no_ references to the page after the mmu_notifier returns. The bug is most easily reproduced by hacking KVM to cause a collision between set_nx_huge_pages() and kvm_mmu_notifier_release(), but the bug exists between kvm_mmu_notifier_invalidate_range_start() and memslot updates as well. Invalidating a root ensures pages aren't accessible by the guest, and KVM won't read or write page data itself, but KVM will trigger e.g. kvm_set_pfn_dirty() when zapping SPTEs, and thus completing a zap of an invalid root _after_ the mmu_notifier returns is fatal. CVE-2021-47634 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ubi: Fix race condition between ctrl_cdev_ioctl and ubi_cdev_ioctl Hulk Robot reported a KASAN report about use-after-free: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in __list_del_entry_valid+0x13d/0x160 Read of size 8 at addr ffff888035e37d98 by task ubiattach/1385 [...] Call Trace: klist_dec_and_del+0xa7/0x4a0 klist_put+0xc7/0x1a0 device_del+0x4d4/0xed0 cdev_device_del+0x1a/0x80 ubi_attach_mtd_dev+0x2951/0x34b0 [ubi] ctrl_cdev_ioctl+0x286/0x2f0 [ubi] Allocated by task 1414: device_add+0x60a/0x18b0 cdev_device_add+0x103/0x170 ubi_create_volume+0x1118/0x1a10 [ubi] ubi_cdev_ioctl+0xb7f/0x1ba0 [ubi] Freed by task 1385: cdev_device_del+0x1a/0x80 ubi_remove_volume+0x438/0x6c0 [ubi] ubi_cdev_ioctl+0xbf4/0x1ba0 [ubi] [...] ================================================================== The lock held by ctrl_cdev_ioctl is ubi_devices_mutex, but the lock held by ubi_cdev_ioctl is ubi->device_mutex. Therefore, the two locks can be concurrent. ctrl_cdev_ioctl contains two operations: ubi_attach and ubi_detach. ubi_detach is bug-free because it uses reference counting to prevent concurrency. However, uif_init and uif_close in ubi_attach may race with ubi_cdev_ioctl. uif_init will race with ubi_cdev_ioctl as in the following stack. cpu1 cpu2 cpu3 _______________________|________________________|______________________ ctrl_cdev_ioctl ubi_attach_mtd_dev uif_init ubi_cdev_ioctl ubi_create_volume cdev_device_add ubi_add_volume // sysfs exist kill_volumes ubi_cdev_ioctl ubi_remove_volume cdev_device_del // first free ubi_free_volume cdev_del // double free cdev_device_del And uif_close will race with ubi_cdev_ioctl as in the following stack. cpu1 cpu2 cpu3 _______________________|________________________|______________________ ctrl_cdev_ioctl ubi_attach_mtd_dev uif_init ubi_cdev_ioctl ubi_create_volume cdev_device_add ubi_debugfs_init_dev //error goto out_uif; uif_close kill_volumes ubi_cdev_ioctl ubi_remove_volume cdev_device_del // first free ubi_free_volume // double free The cause of this problem is that commit 714fb87e8bc0 make device "available" before it becomes accessible via sysfs. Therefore, we roll back the modification. We will fix the race condition between ubi device creation and udev by removing ubi_get_device in vol_attribute_show and dev_attribute_show.This avoids accessing uninitialized ubi_devices[ubi_num]. ubi_get_device is used to prevent devices from being deleted during sysfs execution. However, now kernfs ensures that devices will not be deleted before all reference counting are released. The key process is shown in the following stack. device_del device_remove_attrs device_remove_groups sysfs_remove_groups sysfs_remove_group remove_files kernfs_remove_by_name kernfs_remove_by_name_ns __kernfs_remove kernfs_drain
CVE-2021-47596 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hns3: fix use-after-free bug in hclgevf_send_mbx_msg Currently, the hns3_remove function firstly uninstall client instance, and then uninstall acceletion engine device. The netdevice is freed in client instance uninstall process, but acceletion engine device uninstall process still use it to trace runtime information. This causes a use after free problem. So fixes it by check the instance register state to avoid use after free.
CVE-2021-47571 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8192e: Fix use after free in _rtl92e_pci_disconnect() The free_rtllib() function frees the "dev" pointer so there is use after free on the next line. Re-arrange things to avoid that.
CVE-2021-47565 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: mpt3sas: Fix kernel panic during drive powercycle test While looping over shost's sdev list it is possible that one of the drives is getting removed and its sas_target object is freed but its sdev object remains intact. Consequently, a kernel panic can occur while the driver is trying to access the sas_address field of sas_target object without also checking the sas_target object for NULL.
CVE-2021-47549 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sata_fsl: fix UAF in sata_fsl_port_stop when rmmod sata_fsl When the `rmmod sata_fsl.ko` command is executed in the PPC64 GNU/Linux, a bug is reported: ================================================================== BUG: Unable to handle kernel data access on read at 0x80000800805b502c Oops: Kernel access of bad area, sig: 11 [#1] NIP [c0000000000388a4] .ioread32+0x4/0x20 LR [80000000000c6034] .sata_fsl_port_stop+0x44/0xe0 [sata_fsl] Call Trace: .free_irq+0x1c/0x4e0 (unreliable) .ata_host_stop+0x74/0xd0 [libata] .release_nodes+0x330/0x3f0 .device_release_driver_internal+0x178/0x2c0 .driver_detach+0x64/0xd0 .bus_remove_driver+0x70/0xf0 .driver_unregister+0x38/0x80 .platform_driver_unregister+0x14/0x30 .fsl_sata_driver_exit+0x18/0xa20 [sata_fsl] .__se_sys_delete_module+0x1ec/0x2d0 .system_call_exception+0xfc/0x1f0 system_call_common+0xf8/0x200 ================================================================== The triggering of the BUG is shown in the following stack: driver_detach device_release_driver_internal __device_release_driver drv->remove(dev) --> platform_drv_remove/platform_remove drv->remove(dev) --> sata_fsl_remove iounmap(host_priv->hcr_base); <---- unmap kfree(host_priv); <---- free devres_release_all release_nodes dr->node.release(dev, dr->data) --> ata_host_stop ap->ops->port_stop(ap) --> sata_fsl_port_stop ioread32(hcr_base + HCONTROL) <---- UAF host->ops->host_stop(host) The iounmap(host_priv->hcr_base) and kfree(host_priv) functions should not be executed in drv->remove. These functions should be executed in host_stop after port_stop. Therefore, we move these functions to the new function sata_fsl_host_stop and bind the new function to host_stop.
CVE-2021-47525 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: liteuart: fix use-after-free and memleak on unbind Deregister the port when unbinding the driver to prevent it from being used after releasing the driver data and leaking memory allocated by serial core.
CVE-2021-47521 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: sja1000: fix use after free in ems_pcmcia_add_card() If the last channel is not available then "dev" is freed. Fortunately, we can just use "pdev->irq" instead. Also we should check if at least one channel was set up.
CVE-2021-47479 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-17 N/A 7.0 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: rtl8712: fix use-after-free in rtl8712_dl_fw Syzbot reported use-after-free in rtl8712_dl_fw(). The problem was in race condition between r871xu_dev_remove() ->ndo_open() callback. It's easy to see from crash log, that driver accesses released firmware in ->ndo_open() callback. It may happen, since driver was releasing firmware _before_ unregistering netdev. Fix it by moving unregister_netdev() before cleaning up resources.
