| CVE-2024-53191 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix warning when unbinding If there is an error during some initialization related to firmware, the buffers dp->tx_ring[i].tx_status are released. However this is released again when the device is unbinded (ath12k_pci), and we get: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 2098 at mm/slub.c:4689 free_large_kmalloc+0x4d/0x80 Call Trace: free_large_kmalloc ath12k_dp_free ath12k_core_deinit ath12k_pci_remove ... The issue is always reproducible from a VM because the MSI addressing initialization is failing. In order to fix the issue, just set the buffers to NULL after releasing in order to avoid the double free. | |||||
| CVE-2024-53133 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Handle dml allocation failure to avoid crash [Why] In the case where a dml allocation fails for any reason, the current state's dml contexts would no longer be valid. Then subsequent calls dc_state_copy_internal would shallow copy invalid memory and if the new state was released, a double free would occur. [How] Reset dml pointers in new_state to NULL and avoid invalid pointer (cherry picked from commit bcafdc61529a48f6f06355d78eb41b3aeda5296c) | |||||
| CVE-2024-50235 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: clear wdev->cqm_config pointer on free When we free wdev->cqm_config when unregistering, we also need to clear out the pointer since the same wdev/netdev may get re-registered in another network namespace, then destroyed later, running this code again, which results in a double-free. | |||||
| CVE-2024-50071 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: nuvoton: fix a double free in ma35_pinctrl_dt_node_to_map_func() 'new_map' is allocated using devm_* which takes care of freeing the allocated data on device removal, call to .dt_free_map = pinconf_generic_dt_free_map double frees the map as pinconf_generic_dt_free_map() calls pinctrl_utils_free_map(). Fix this by using kcalloc() instead of auto-managed devm_kcalloc(). | |||||
| CVE-2024-49989 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: fix double free issue during amdgpu module unload Flexible endpoints use DIGs from available inflexible endpoints, so only the encoders of inflexible links need to be freed. Otherwise, a double free issue may occur when unloading the amdgpu module. | CVE-2024-45402 | 1 Dena | 1 Picotls | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| Picotls is a TLS protocol library that allows users select different crypto backends based on their use case. When parsing a spoofed TLS handshake message, picotls (specifically, bindings within picotls that call the crypto libraries) may attempt to free the same memory twice. This double free occurs during the disposal of multiple objects without any intervening calls to malloc Typically, this triggers the malloc implementation to detect the error and abort the process. However, depending on the internals of malloc and the crypto backend being used, the flaw could potentially lead to a use-after-free scenario, which might allow for arbitrary code execution. The vulnerability is addressed with commit 9b88159ce763d680e4a13b6e8f3171ae923a535d. | |||||
| CVE-2024-44098 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| In lwis_device_event_states_clear_locked of lwis_event.c, there is a possible privilege escalation due to a double free. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. | |||||

| CVE-2024-42147 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: hisilicon/debugfs - Fix debugfs uninit process issue During the zip probe process, the debugfs failure does not stop the probe. When debugfs initialization fails, jumping to the error branch will also release regs, in addition to its own rollback operation. As a result, it may be released repeatedly during the regs uninit process. Therefore, the null check needs to be added to the regs uninit process. | |||||
| CVE-2024-42138 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mlxsw: core_linecards: Fix double memory deallocation in case of invalid INI file In case of invalid INI file mlxsw_linecard_types_init() deallocates memory but doesn't reset pointer to NULL and returns 0. In case of any error occurred after mlxsw_linecard_types_init() call, mlxsw_linecards_init() calls mlxsw_linecard_types_fini() which performs memory deallocation again. Add pointer reset to NULL. | CVE-2024-41965 | 1 Vim | 1 Vim | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.2 MEDIUM |
| Vim is an open source command line text editor. double-free in dialog_changed() in Vim < v9.1.0648. When abandoning a buffer, Vim may ask the user what to do with the modified buffer. If the user wants the changed buffer to be saved, Vim may create a new Untitled file, if the buffer did not have a name yet. However, when setting the buffer name to Unnamed, Vim will falsely free a pointer twice, leading to a double-free and possibly later to a heap-use-after-free, which can lead to a crash. The issue has been fixed as of Vim patch v9.1.0648. | |||||
| CVE-2024-41957 | 1 Vim | 1 Vim | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.5 MEDIUM |
| Vim is an open source command line text editor. Vim < v9.1.0647 has double free in src/alloc.c:616. When closing a window, the corresponding tagstack data will be cleared and freed. However a bit later, the quickfix list belonging to that window will also be cleared and if that quickfix list points to the same tagstack data, Vim will try to free it again, resulting in a double-free/use-after-free access exception. Impact is low since the user must intentionally execute vim with several non-default flags, but it may cause a crash of Vim. The issue has been fixed as of Vim patch v9.1.0647 | |||||
| CVE-2024-40940 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix tainted pointer delete is case of flow rules creation fail In case of flow rule creation fail in mlx5_lag_create_port_sel_table(), instead of previously created rules, the tainted pointer is deleted deveral times. Fix this bug by using correct flow rules pointers. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. | |||||
