| CVE-2026-55588 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| ORAS (OCI Registry As Storage) is a CLI and library for managing artifacts in OCI registries. In ORAS CLI versions up to and including 1.3.2, the recursive referrer traversal does not track visited descriptors, so a malicious OCI registry that returns a cyclic referrer graph causes unbounded recursion and memory growth. This affects oras discover, whose recursive traversal is enabled by default because the --depth option defaults to 0 (unlimited), as well as the recursive referrer counting used by the oras backup and oras restore workflows. A cyclic graph can be as simple as A referring to B and B referring back to A. A malicious registry can use this to cause a client-side denial of service, exhausting CPU and memory and hanging automation or CI/CD pipelines that run ORAS against untrusted registry metadata. The vulnerability does not extend to code execution, artifact substitution, or integrity bypass. This issue has been fixed in version 1.3.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77384 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| libp2p is a JavaScript implementation of the libp2p networking stack. Prior to version 4.2.9, the reservation refresh path in reservation-store.ts reuses the same retimeableSignal but unconditionally registers another abort listener on every refresh. As a result, a remote peer can repeatedly send valid RESERVE requests for the same reservation, causing unbounded listener and closure growth in @libp2p/circuit-relay-v2 relay servers and leading to denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.9. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55099 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| icalendar is an RFC 5545 compatible parser and generator of iCalendar files for Python. From 7.1.0 until 7.1.3, the Component equality method in src/icalendar/cal/component.py compares nested subcomponents with two membership loops, and each membership test invokes the same method on child components, causing O(2^n) work relative to nesting depth. Component.from_ical accepts arbitrarily nested BEGIN:VEVENT blocks without a depth limit, so an attacker can submit a sub-kilobyte .ics file containing equal nested subtrees and trigger the cost when an application performs equality, inequality, membership, deduplication, test-assertion, round-trip, or normalization comparisons. Parsing alone does not trigger the issue, and comparisons that differ early short-circuit, but a few hundred bytes can pin a CPU core for minutes or indefinitely, causing denial of service in calendar sync or import endpoints, invite processing, and other comparison paths. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.3. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55373 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 6.2 MEDIUM | ||
| OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. Versions prior to 3.2.10, 3.3.12, and 3.4.13 contain an infinite-loop vulnerability in SampleCountChannel. The helper roundListSizeUp() rounds a sample-list size up to the next power of two using repeated unsigned left shifts, which terminates for normal values but fails for UINT_MAX: the sequence reaches 0x80000000, and the next left shift wraps the 32-bit value to 0. Because 0 remains less than UINT_MAX, the loop never progresses and never exits. The bug is reachable through public OpenEXRUtil APIs, either by editing the sample-count buffer through SampleCountChannel::Edit (whose destructor calls endEdit()) or by calling SampleCountChannel::set(x, y, UINT_MAX) on a valid pixel. This issue has been fixed in versions 3.2.10, 3.3.12, and 3.4.13. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53965 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| The MCP PHP SDK (Composer package mcp/sdk) is the official Model Context Protocol SDK for PHP. In versions 0.5.0 through 0.7.0, the HTTP client transport reads a Server-Sent Events response stream incrementally and appends each chunk to an in-memory buffer with no upper bound. The buffer is only flushed when an SSE event delimiter, a double newline, is found, so a remote MCP server that streams response bytes without ever sending the delimiter causes the buffer to grow without limit. A malicious, compromised, or man-in-the-middle-controlled server that the client connects to over the HTTP transport can exploit this to exhaust the client process's memory, triggering a fatal allocation error or OS out-of-memory kill and denying service to the MCP client. The issue affects any client using HttpTransport against an untrusted server endpoint and does not require authentication or user interaction beyond initiating the connection. This issue is fixed in version 0.7.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53530 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| RaTeX is a KaTeX-compatible math rendering engine written in Rust. Prior to version 0.1.11, the public parser entrypoint `ratex_parser::parse(&str)` panics on the 9-byte input `\verbéxé` (i.e. `\verb` followed by the non-ASCII delimiter `é`). When handling a `\verb` command, the parser slices the verbatim argument with byte indices (`arg[1..arg.len() - 1]`); if the delimiter character is multibyte UTF-8, index `1` lands inside that character and Rust panics with *“byte index 1 is not a char boundary”*. Because RaTeX’s release profile sets `panic = "abort"` (`Cargo.toml:48`), the panic aborts the entire process — not just the current request/thread — making this a hard denial of service for any service that renders untrusted LaTeX. Version 0.1.11 fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48050 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Arc is an open, SQL-native time-series database for telemetry. Versions prior to 26.06.1 register Go's `net/http/pprof` handlers at `/debug/pprof/*` via `app.Use(pprof.New())` in `internal/api/server.go`, and `/debug/pprof` is added to `PublicPrefixes` in `cmd/arc/main.go`. The auth middleware short-circuits before the token check on prefix match, so the endpoints are reachable without any authentication. Version 26.06.1 contains a patch. Some workarounds are available. Block `/debug/pprof*` at a reverse proxy / load balancer in front of Arc, restrict Arc's API port to known-trusted networks via firewall rules, and/or patch the running build: comment out `app.Use(pprof.New())` in `internal/api/server.go` and rebuild. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53531 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| RaTeX is a KaTeX-compatible math rendering engine written in Rust. Prior to version 0.1.11, RaTeX’s recursive-descent parser recurses one (or more) native stack frame per nesting level at `{`, `\left`, `\sqrt{`, `^{`, etc, with no maximum depth limit. A short, ~10 KB input of nested groups overflows the 8 MB main-thread stack and aborts the process. With `panic = "abort"` (`Cargo.toml:48`), and because a Rust stack overflow is always a fatal `SIGABRT` regardless of panic strategy this is an unrecoverable, whole-process denial of service reachable from a single untrusted LaTeX string. Version 0.1.11 fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77354 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. From 0.124.0 until 0.142.0, openapi3filter.sliceMapToSlice in openapi3filter/req_resp_decoder.go converts attacker-controlled sparse indexes from a deepObject query parameter into a dense slice by allocating entries from zero through the largest supplied index, after which buildResObj creates another slice of the same length. This allocation occurs before schema validation, so maxItems does not prevent it. An unauthenticated client can send a small query such as param[items][50000000]=x to an endpoint whose deepObject schema contains an array, forcing multi-gigabyte heap allocation and causing an OOM kill or restart loop. Other request-body encodings and styled parameters that do not produce bracketed integer indexes are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.142.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-49249 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Boruta is a standalone authorization server that aims to implement OAuth 2.0 and Openid Connect up to decentralized identity specifications. Prior to version 0.10.0, BorutaIdentityWeb.UserSettingsController.update/2 atomizes every key of the user-supplied request body via String.to_atom/1 before any validation. Because String.to_atom interns atoms permanently in the BEAM atom table (default cap 1,048,576 atoms; ERL_MAX_ATOMS), any authenticated end user can send PUT /users/settings with a user[<fresh-key>]=... body containing fresh keys per request and exhaust the global VM atom table. Once the table is full, the BEAM aborts with no more index entries in atom_tab and the entire OIDC server (auth, admin, gateway apps in the umbrella) crashes. The route is protected only by require_authenticated_user and a per-IP rate limit of 10 requests/second; a logged-in end user can hit it. The keys are atomized unconditionally before the downstream Accounts.update_user/6 call, so even failing updates contribute to exhaustion. This issue has been patched in version 0.10.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-62295 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.11, the JSON utility parser in org.hl7.fhir.utilities.json.parser.JsonParser enforces no maximum nesting depth for arrays or objects. As a result, a small but deeply nested, syntactically valid FHIR JSON document can trigger unbounded readArray() or readObject() recursion, raising a StackOverflowError before structural validation runs. An attacker who can submit JSON resources for validation can thus crash the request thread, and services that do not isolate StackOverflowError safely may experience worker loss or process instability — a denial-of-service condition. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.11. | |||||
| CVE-2026-65819 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| gopacket provides packet processing capabilities for Go. Through version 1.7.0, multiple layer decoders use attacker-controlled lengths, counts, or offsets before validating them against packet buffers, allowing a crafted packet decoded through DecodingLayerParser or DecodeFromBytes to trigger an unrecovered panic and remotely deny service. A patch commit is available at 210f25f. | |||||
| CVE-2026-62296 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.11, XhtmlParser.java imposes no maximum element nesting depth, so a deeply nested text.div narrative triggers unbounded recursion between parseElementInner() and parseElement(), raising a StackOverflowError. An attacker who can submit FHIR resources containing such narratives can thus crash a parsing or validation worker thread, affecting validator services and any application that parses attacker-supplied FHIR JSON or XML. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.11. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73413 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Shescape is a simple shell escape library for JavaScript. From 2.1.11 until 2.1.14 and 3.0.1, the flag-protection loop in compose in src/internal/compose.js repeatedly joins and slices flag fragments when flagProtection is enabled, which is the default, making processing quadratic in input size across the escape, escapeAll, quote, and quoteAll APIs. An attacker who can supply a large untrusted input containing many flag fragments can consume CPU and cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.14 and 3.0.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71870 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.15.0, a crafted PDF can cause large memory consumption when pypdf/_cmap.py function parse_bfrange parses unusually large source-code or destination-string tokens in a font /ToUnicode CMap during text extraction. This issue is fixed in 6.15.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73556 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.26.0, the structured_outputs.regex parameter in vllm/v1/structured_output/backend_lm_format_enforcer.py is passed to lmformatenforcer.RegexParser without compile_regex_with_timeout or validation in validate_structured_output_request_lm_format_enforcer, allowing an unauthenticated /v1/completions request against the lm-format-enforcer backend to consume a CPU core and stall the structured-output engine path with a catastrophic regular expression. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54338 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| JupyterHub is software that allows users to create a multi-user server for Jupyter notebooks. Prior to 5.5.0, invalid input to form-based login authenticators can place an unbounded attacker-controlled username in failed-login logs, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to consume logging and storage resources. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73507 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final, io.netty.handler.codec.xml.XmlFrameDecoder.decode() failed to preserve closing-tag parser state across invocations, so an unauthenticated remote attacker could trickle-feed repeated </ sequences that repeatedly rescanned the accumulated buffer and exhausted an EventLoop thread's CPU, causing denial of service with a maxFrameLength of 1 MB. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.136.Final and 4.2.16.Final. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73559 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. From 0.19.0 until 0.26.0, the /v1/completions CompletionRequest.prompt field in vllm/entrypoints/openai/completion/protocol.py accepts an unbounded list[str] or list[list[int]], prompt_to_seq() in vllm/renderers/inputs/preprocess.py and OnlineRenderer.preprocess_completion() in vllm/renderers/online_renderer.py expand every element, and vllm/entrypoints/openai/completion/serving.py creates one engine generator and response slot per prompt, allowing an authenticated API client to exhaust CPU, memory, async scheduling capacity, engine request slots, and response buffering with one request. This issue is fixed in version 0.26.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-49343 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM | ||
| Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. In versions prior to 1.7.18, the account-data trie syncers are vulnerable to a resource-exhaustion flaw that leaks bounded throttler slots on error paths. In syncDataTrie() (in both userAccountsSyncer.go and kappAccountsSyncer.go), StartProcessing() reserves a slot from the NumGoRoutinesThrottler, but the corresponding EndProcessing() is only called on the success path and on the duplicate-root early return. As a result, any error from trie.NewTrie(), trie.NewTrieSyncer(), or trieSyncer.StartSyncing() (including the network-dependent timeout path) permanently consumes one slot for the lifetime of the throttler. An attacker who can repeatedly cause trie-node sync failures or timeouts during bootstrap can exhaust the bounded throttler, after which further account-data trie syncs stop making progress and SyncAccounts() returns a timeout. Because epoch bootstrap in syncUserAccountsState() and syncKappAccountsState() aborts on any such error, this causes bootstrap to fail, a core availability issue affecting fresh, restarting, or resyncing nodes and validators. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.18. | |||||
