| CVE-2017-6632 | 1 Cisco | 2 Firepower Threat Defense, Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-08-11 | 7.8 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
| A vulnerability in the logging configuration of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) policies for Cisco FirePOWER System Software 5.3.0 through 6.2.2 could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition due to high consumption of system resources. The vulnerability is due to the logging of certain TCP packets by the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a flood of crafted TCP packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition. The success of an exploit is dependent on how an administrator has configured logging for SSL policies for a device. This vulnerability affects Cisco FirePOWER System Software that is configured to log connections by using SSL policy default actions. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvd07072. | |||||
| CVE-2018-15399 | 1 Cisco | 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-08-11 | 7.1 HIGH | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| A vulnerability in the TCP syslog module of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to exhaust the 1550-byte buffers on an affected device, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to a missing boundary check in an internal function. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by establishing a man-in-the-middle position between an affected device and its configured TCP syslog server and then maliciously modifying the TCP header in segments that are sent from the syslog server to the affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust buffer on the affected device and cause all TCP-based features to stop functioning, resulting in a DoS condition. The affected TCP-based features include AnyConnect SSL VPN, clientless SSL VPN, and management connections such as Secure Shell (SSH), Telnet, and HTTPS. | |||||
| CVE-2018-0230 | 1 Cisco | 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-08-11 | 7.8 HIGH | 8.6 HIGH |
| A vulnerability in the internal packet-processing functionality of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software for Cisco Firepower 2100 Series Security Appliances could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to stop processing traffic, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to the affected software improperly validating IP Version 4 (IPv4) and IP Version 6 (IPv6) packets after the software reassembles the packets (following IP Fragmentation). An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a series of malicious, fragmented IPv4 or IPv6 packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause Snort processes on the affected device to hang at 100% CPU utilization, which could cause the device to stop processing traffic and result in a DoS condition until the device is reloaded manually. This vulnerability affects Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software Releases 6.2.1 and 6.2.2, if the software is running on a Cisco Firepower 2100 Series Security Appliance. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvf91098. | |||||

| A vulnerability in the packet processing functionality of Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to inefficient memory management. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of TCP packets to a specific port on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust system memory, which could cause the device to reload unexpectedly. No manual intervention is needed to recover the device after it has reloaded. | |||||
| CVE-2021-44228 | 12 Apache, Apple, Bentley and 9 more | 166 Log4j, Xcode, Synchro and 163 more | 2026-08-11 | 9.3 HIGH | 10.0 CRITICAL |
| Apache Log4j2 2.0-beta9 through 2.15.0 (excluding security releases 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1) JNDI features used in configuration, log messages, and parameters do not protect against attacker controlled LDAP and other JNDI related endpoints. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from LDAP servers when message lookup substitution is enabled. From log4j 2.15.0, this behavior has been disabled by default. From version 2.16.0 (along with 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1), this functionality has been completely removed. Note that this vulnerability is specific to log4j-core and does not affect log4net, log4cxx, or other Apache Logging Services projects. | |||||
| CVE-2019-15256 | 1 Cisco | 24 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Asa 5505, Asa 5505 Firmware and 21 more | 2026-08-11 | 7.8 HIGH | 8.6 HIGH |
| A vulnerability in the Internet Key Exchange version 1 (IKEv1) feature of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to trigger a reload of an affected device, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to improper management of system memory. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious IKEv1 traffic to an affected device. The attacker does not need valid credentials to authenticate the VPN session, nor does the attacker's source address need to match a peer statement in the crypto map applied to the ingress interface of the affected device. An exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust system memory resources, leading to a reload of an affected device. | |||||

| CVE-2026-70646 | 2026-08-08 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| aiosend is a synchronous and asynchronous Crypto Pay API client. Pror to version 3.0.7, `WebhookHandler.feed_update()` deserializes the entire request body before verifying the HMAC signature. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to force expensive parsing of arbitrary JSON payloads that will ultimately be rejected, leading to unnecessary CPU and memory consumption. Version 3.0.7 fixes the issue. Some workarounds are available. Restrict request body size at the reverse proxy or web framework, rate-limit webhook endpoints, and/or reject oversized requests before JSON parsing. | |||||
| CVE-2026-56816 | 1 Netty | 1 Netty | 2026-08-07 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. Prior to 4.2.16.Final, Netty's `Http3FrameCodec` buffers incoming data for HTTP/3 reserved frame types up to the wire-specified payload length without limits; `decodeFrame` trusts `payLoadLength`, allowing an attacker to open multiple QUIC streams and send reserved frames with very large payload lengths to cause memory exhaustion and denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.16.Final. | |||||
| CVE-2026-56145 | 1 Elastic | 1 Elasticsearch | 2026-08-07 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). A low-privileged authenticated user with permission to execute EQL sequence queries against an index they control can send a specially crafted query that triggers excessive memory consumption, causing the Elasticsearch node to crash. | |||||
| CVE-2026-63136 | 1 Elastic | 1 Elasticsearch | 2026-08-07 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead to denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130). A user with search privileges can submit a specially crafted search request that causes a data node to exhaust available heap memory, resulting in node unavailability and cluster degradation. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to cause cluster downtime requiring manual intervention to restore service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-50645 | 1 Apache | 1 Cxf | 2026-08-07 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| There is no restriction on the amount of attachment headers that a message can contain when being deserialized by Apache CXF, which can lead to uncontrolled resource consumption or a denial of service attack. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.2 or 4.1.7 or 3.6.12, which fix this issue by imposing a maximum default of 500 attachments per message. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46273 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-07 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ibmveth: Disable GSO for packets with small MSS Some physical adapters on Power systems do not support segmentation offload when the MSS is less than 224 bytes. Attempting to send such packets causes the adapter to freeze, stopping all traffic until manually reset. Implement ndo_features_check to disable GSO for packets with small MSS values. The network stack will perform software segmentation instead. The 224-byte minimum matches ibmvnic commit <f10b09ef687f> ("ibmvnic: Enforce stronger sanity checks on GSO packets") which uses the same physical adapters in SEA configurations. The issue occurs specifically when the hardware attempts to perform segmentation (gso_segs > 1) with a small MSS. Single-segment GSO packets (gso_segs == 1) do not trigger the problematic LSO code path and are transmitted normally without segmentation. Add an ndo_features_check callback to disable GSO when MSS < 224 bytes. Also call vlan_features_check() to ensure proper handling of VLAN packets, particularly QinQ (802.1ad) configurations where the hardware parser may not support certain offload features. Validated using iptables to force small MSS values. Without the fix, the adapter freezes. With the fix, packets are segmented in software and transmission succeeds. Comprehensive regression testing completedd (MSS tests, performance, stability). | |||||
