| CVE-2026-20057 | 1 Cisco | 4 Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense, Snort and 1 more | 2026-08-20 | N/A | 5.8 MEDIUM |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) feature which could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to crash. This vulnerability is due to lack of proper error checking when decompressing VBA data. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted VBA data to the Snort 3 Detection Engine on the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to unexpectedly restart causing a a denial of service (DoS) condition. | |||||
| CVE-2026-64275 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-17 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: elan_i2c - prevent division by zero and arithmetic underflow The Elan I2C touchpad driver queries the device for its physical dimensions and trace counts to calculate the device resolution and width. However, if the device firmware or device tree provides invalid zero values for x_traces or y_traces, it results in a fatal division-by-zero exception leading to a kernel panic during device probe. Add checks to ensure these parameters are non-zero before performing the division. If invalid trace values are detected, fall back to a safe default of 1. Additionally, prevent an arithmetic underflow in the touch reporting logic. Previously, if the calculated or fallback width was smaller than ETP_FWIDTH_REDUCE (90), the subtraction would underflow, resulting in a massive unsigned integer being reported to userspace. Clamp the adjusted width to a minimum of 0 to safely handle small physical dimensions and fallback scenarios. Completing the probe with safe fallback values ensures the sysfs nodes are created, keeping the firmware update path intact so a recovery firmware can be flashed to the device. | |||||
| CVE-2022-49294 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-13 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Check if modulo is 0 before dividing. [How & Why] If a value of 0 is read, then this will cause a divide-by-0 panic. | |||||
| CVE-2026-64236 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-12 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: davinci: fix division by zero on missing clock-frequency When the 'clock-frequency' property is missing from the device tree, the driver falls back to DAVINCI_I2C_DEFAULT_BUS_FREQ. However, this macro was defined in kHz (100), whereas the device tree property is expected in Hz. The probe function divided the fallback value by 1000, causing integer truncation that resulted in dev->bus_freq = 0. This triggered a deterministic division-by-zero kernel panic when calculating clock dividers later in the probe sequence. Fix this by redefining DAVINCI_I2C_DEFAULT_BUS_FREQ in Hz (100000) to match the expected device tree property unit, allowing the existing division logic to work correctly for both cases. | |||||
| CVE-2024-57932 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gve: guard XDP xmit NDO on existence of xdp queues In GVE, dedicated XDP queues only exist when an XDP program is installed and the interface is up. As such, the NDO XDP XMIT callback should return early if either of these conditions are false. In the case of no loaded XDP program, priv->num_xdp_queues=0 which can cause a divide-by-zero error, and in the case of interface down, num_xdp_queues remains untouched to persist XDP queue count for the next interface up, but the TX pointer itself would be NULL. The XDP xmit callback also needs to synchronize with a device transitioning from open to close. This synchronization will happen via the GVE_PRIV_FLAGS_NAPI_ENABLED bit along with a synchronize_net() call, which waits for any RCU critical sections at call-time to complete. | |||||
| CVE-2024-36968 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.6 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: Fix div-by-zero in l2cap_le_flowctl_init() l2cap_le_flowctl_init() can cause both div-by-zero and an integer overflow since hdev->le_mtu may not fall in the valid range. Move MTU from hci_dev to hci_conn to validate MTU and stop the connection process earlier if MTU is invalid. Also, add a missing validation in read_buffer_size() and make it return an error value if the validation fails. Now hci_conn_add() returns ERR_PTR() as it can fail due to the both a kzalloc failure and invalid MTU value. divide error: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP KASAN NOPTI CPU: 0 PID: 67 Comm: kworker/u5:0 Tainted: G W 6.9.0-rc5+ #20 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS 1.15.0-1 04/01/2014 Workqueue: hci0 hci_rx_work RIP: 0010:l2cap_le_flowctl_init+0x19e/0x3f0 net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c:547 Code: e8 17 17 0c 00 66 41 89 9f 84 00 00 00 bf 01 00 00 00 41 b8 02 00 00 00 4c 89 fe 4c 89 e2 89 d9 e8 27 17 0c 00 44 89 f0 31 d2 <66> f7 f3 89 c3 ff c3 4d 8d b7 88 00 00 00 4c 89 f0 48 c1 e8 03 42 RSP: 0018:ffff88810bc0f858 EFLAGS: 00010246 RAX: 00000000000002a0 RBX: 0000000000000000 RCX: dffffc0000000000 RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: ffff88810bc0f7c0 RDI: ffffc90002dcb66f RBP: ffff88810bc0f880 R08: aa69db2dda70ff01 R09: 0000ffaaaaaaaaaa R10: 0084000000ffaaaa R11: 0000000000000000 R12: ffff88810d65a084 R13: dffffc0000000000 R14: 00000000000002a0 R15: ffff88810d65a000 FS: 0000000000000000(0000) GS:ffff88811ac00000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: 0000000020000100 CR3: 0000000103268003 CR4: 0000000000770ef0 PKRU: 55555554 Call Trace: <TASK> l2cap_le_connect_req net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c:4902 [inline] l2cap_le_sig_cmd net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c:5420 [inline] l2cap_le_sig_channel net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c:5486 [inline] l2cap_recv_frame+0xe59d/0x11710 net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c:6809 l2cap_recv_acldata+0x544/0x10a0 net/bluetooth/l2cap_core.c:7506 hci_acldata_packet net/bluetooth/hci_core.c:3939 [inline] hci_rx_work+0x5e5/0xb20 net/bluetooth/hci_core.c:4176 process_one_work kernel/workqueue.c:3254 [inline] process_scheduled_works+0x90f/0x1530 kernel/workqueue.c:3335 worker_thread+0x926/0xe70 kernel/workqueue.c:3416 kthread+0x2e3/0x380 kernel/kthread.c:388 ret_from_fork+0x5c/0x90 arch/x86/kernel/process.c:147 ret_from_fork_asm+0x1a/0x30 arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:244 </TASK> Modules linked in: ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- | |||||

| CVE-2022-49330 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: fix tcp_mtup_probe_success vs wrong snd_cwnd syzbot got a new report [1] finally pointing to a very old bug, added in initial support for MTU probing. tcp_mtu_probe() has checks about starting an MTU probe if tcp_snd_cwnd(tp) >= 11. But nothing prevents tcp_snd_cwnd(tp) to be reduced later and before the MTU probe succeeds. This bug would lead to potential zero-divides. Debugging added in commit 40570375356c ("tcp: add accessors to read/set tp->snd_cwnd") has paid off :) While we are at it, address potential overflows in this code. | CVE-2026-10679 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-07-30 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |
| The DesignWare SPI driver (drivers/spi/spi_dw.c) computed the SPI BAUDR clock divider as info->clock_frequency / config->frequency without validating config->frequency. spi_transceive is a Zephyr __syscall and its verify handler (drivers/spi/spi_handlers.c) copies the caller-supplied spi_config from userspace without checking the frequency field, so a userspace thread that has been granted access to a DesignWare SPI device kernel object can pass frequency = 0 and trigger an unsigned integer divide-by-zero in spi_dw_configure(). On Cortex-M Mainline (SCB->CCR.DIV_0_TRP is set in z_arm_fault_init()) and on ARC (a dedicated __ev_div_zero vector) this raises a CPU exception, resulting in a kernel fault and local denial of service. The fix rejects zero frequency and frequencies above clock_frequency / 2 (the DesignWare SSI databook minimum SCKDIV of 2) with -EINVAL. The defect affects all Zephyr releases up to and including v4.4.0; exploitation requires CONFIG_USERSPACE=y and an unprivileged thread already granted SPI driver permission. There is no memory-corruption or information-disclosure impact. | |||||

| CVE-2026-5747 | 1 Amazon | 1 Firecracker | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| An out-of-bounds write issue in the virtio PCI transport in Firecracker 1.13.0 through 1.14.3 and 1.15.0 on x86_64 and aarch64 might allow a local guest user with root privileges to crash the Firecracker VMM process or potentially execute arbitrary code on the host via modification of virtio queue configuration registers after device activation. Achieving code execution on the host requires additional preconditions, such as the use of a custom guest kernel or specific snapshot configurations. To remediate this, users should upgrade to Firecracker 1.14.4 or 1.15.1 and later. | |||||
| CVE-2025-70100 | 1 Gkostka | 1 Lwext4 | 2026-07-22 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |

| CVE-2026-37232 | 1 Openairinterface | 1 Openairinterface5g | 2026-07-22 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in OpenAirInterface5G 2.4.0 (nr-softmodem) in the E2SM-KPM RAN Function's PRB utilization metric calculation. The functions fill_RRU_PrbTotDl() and fill_RRU_PrbTotUl() in openair2/E2AP/RAN_FUNCTION/O-RAN/ran_func_kpm_subs.c (lines 182 and 197) compute PRB usage percentages by dividing by the difference of two consecutive total_prb_aggregate samples without checking for zero. When a malicious xApp sends a high volume of E42_RIC_SUBSCRIPTION_REQUESTs via the FlexRIC iApp (port 36422/SCTP), the E2 Agent generates KPM Indication reports at high frequency. If two consecutive sampling intervals yield identical PRB aggregate values, the divisor becomes zero, triggering SIGFPE and crashing the entire 5G base station process (nr-softmodem). This results in complete 5G cell service interruption for all connected UEs. No authentication is required. | |||||

Using unsigned int, the same integer size as the individual DRR quanta, can overflow and even cause division by zero, like it happened in the following splat: Oops: divide error: 0000 [#1] SMP PTI CPU: 13 UID: 0 PID: 487 Comm: tc Tainted: G E 6.19.0-virtme #45 PREEMPT(full) Tainted: [E]=UNSIGNED_MODULE Hardware name: Bochs Bochs, BIOS Bochs 01/01/2011 RIP: 0010:ets_offload_change+0x11f/0x290 [sch_ets] Code: e4 45 31 ff eb 03 41 89 c7 41 89 cb 89 ce 83 f9 0f 0f 87 b7 00 00 00 45 8b 08 31 c0 45 01 cc 45 85 c9 74 09 41 6b c4 64 31 d2 <41> f7 f2 89 c2 44 29 fa 45 89 df 41 83 fb 0f 0f 87 c7 00 00 00 44 RSP: 0018:ffffd0a180d77588 EFLAGS: 00010246 RAX: 00000000ffffff38 RBX: ffff8d3d482ca000 RCX: 0000000000000000 RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: 0000000000000000 RDI: ffffd0a180d77660 RBP: ffffd0a180d77690 R08: ffff8d3d482ca2d8 R09: 00000000fffffffe R10: 0000000000000000 R11: 0000000000000000 R12: 00000000fffffffe R13: ffff8d3d472f2000 R14: 0000000000000003 R15: 0000000000000000 FS: 00007f440b6c2740(0000) GS:ffff8d3dc9803000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: 000000003cdd2000 CR3: 0000000007b58002 CR4: 0000000000172ef0 Call Trace: <TASK> ets_qdisc_change+0x870/0xf40 [sch_ets] qdisc_create+0x12b/0x540 tc_modify_qdisc+0x6d7/0xbd0 rtnetlink_rcv_msg+0x168/0x6b0 netlink_rcv_skb+0x5c/0x110 netlink_unicast+0x1d6/0x2b0 netlink_sendmsg+0x22e/0x470 ____sys_sendmsg+0x38a/0x3c0 ___sys_sendmsg+0x99/0xe0 __sys_sendmsg+0x8a/0xf0 do_syscall_64+0x111/0xf80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f RIP: 0033:0x7f440b81c77e Code: 4d 89 d8 e8 d4 bc 00 00 4c 8b 5d f8 41 8b 93 08 03 00 00 59 5e 48 83 f8 fc 74 11 c9 c3 0f 1f 80 00 00 00 00 48 8b 45 10 0f 05 <c9> c3 83 e2 39 83 fa 08 75 e7 e8 13 ff ff ff 0f 1f 00 f3 0f 1e fa RSP: 002b:00007fff951e4c10 EFLAGS: 00000202 ORIG_RAX: 000000000000002e RAX: ffffffffffffffda RBX: 0000000000481820 RCX: 00007f440b81c77e RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: 00007fff951e4cd0 RDI: 0000000000000003 RBP: 00007fff951e4c20 R08: 0000000000000000 R09: 0000000000000000 R10: 0000000000000000 R11: 0000000000000202 R12: 00007fff951f4fa8 R13: 00000000699ddede R14: 00007f440bb01000 R15: 0000000000486980 </TASK> Modules linked in: sch_ets(E) netdevsim(E) ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- RIP: 0010:ets_offload_change+0x11f/0x290 [sch_ets] Code: e4 45 31 ff eb 03 41 89 c7 41 89 cb 89 ce 83 f9 0f 0f 87 b7 00 00 00 45 8b 08 31 c0 45 01 cc 45 85 c9 74 09 41 6b c4 64 31 d2 <41> f7 f2 89 c2 44 29 fa 45 89 df 41 83 fb 0f 0f 87 c7 00 00 00 44 RSP: 0018:ffffd0a180d77588 EFLAGS: 00010246 RAX: 00000000ffffff38 RBX: ffff8d3d482ca000 RCX: 0000000000000000 RDX: 0000000000000000 RSI: 0000000000000000 RDI: ffffd0a180d77660 RBP: ffffd0a180d77690 R08: ffff8d3d482ca2d8 R09: 00000000fffffffe R10: 0000000000000000 R11: 0000000000000000 R12: 00000000fffffffe R13: ffff8d3d472f2000 R14: 0000000000000003 R15: 0000000000000000 FS: 00007f440b6c2740(0000) GS:ffff8d3dc9803000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: 000000003cdd2000 CR3: 0000000007b58002 CR4: 0000000000172ef0 Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception Kernel Offset: 0x30000000 from 0xffffffff81000000 (relocation range: 0xffffffff80000000-0xffffffffbfffffff) ---[ end Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception ]--- Fix this using 64-bit integers for 'q_sum' and 'q_psum'. | |||||
