| FrontAccounting through 2.4.20 generates a CSRF token in end_form() in includes/ui/ui_controls.inc and embeds it as the _token hidden field in every form it renders, but only admin/users.php and admin/change_current_user_password.php call check_csrf_token() to validate it. No financial transaction handler validates the token, including gl/gl_journal.php, gl/gl_bank.php, purchasing/supplier_invoice.php, sales/customer_invoice.php, sales/customer_payments.php and admin/company_preferences.php, so those endpoints act on POST data with no origin check. An attacker who gets an authenticated user to load a page under attacker control can auto-submit a cross-origin form to any of them and have the forged journal entry, invoice, customer payment, bank transaction or company configuration change recorded under the victim's session. | |||||

| In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who holds the "power" Splunk role could store a Dashboard Studio workflow action containing attacker-controlled Search Processing Language (SPL). When another authenticated user selects the action from Event Actions and selects Continue, Splunk Enterprise runs the injected SPL using the permissions of that user. The injected SPL could access or modify data available to that user. The vulnerability is possible because Dashboard Studio does not sufficiently validate workflow-action URLs before submitting requests. The vulnerability requires the attacker to phish the affected user by tricking them into initiating a request within their browser. The user who holds the "power" Splunk role should not be able to exploit the vulnerability at will. | |||||

| The referrer enforcement introduced with TYPO3-CORE-SA-2020-006 (CVE-2020-11069) became ineffective in TYPO3 v13.0, where TYPO3 CMS started serving the backend and Install Tool applications from the site's main entry script instead of the dedicated typo3/ directory. Whether a request originated from the backend or Install Tool itself was determined by comparing the referrer against the directory of the entry script, which since then is the site root. As a consequence, requests originating from any script running on one of the TYPO3 instance's own domains, such as a frontend page, were accepted by backend routes and Install Tool endpoints. Attackers able to execute JavaScript on one of those domains, for instance by exploiting a cross-site scripting vulnerability, could invoke these endpoints via Fetch/XHR with the privileges of an authenticated victim's user session. | CTI-Transmute contained a cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the administrative user deletion functionality. The /account/delete/<id> endpoint accepted HTTP GET requests for an operation that modified application state. An unauthenticated remote attacker could construct a malicious link or embed a request targeting this endpoint and induce an authenticated CTI-Transmute administrator to visit the attacker-controlled content. If the administrator had an active session, the browser would automatically include the administrator’s session credentials, causing the selected user account to be deleted without the administrator intentionally confirming the operation. Successful exploitation requires interaction from a currently authenticated administrator who has permission to delete users. The attacker does not need a CTI-Transmute account or administrative privileges because the forged request executes using the victim administrator’s session. The vulnerability could allow an attacker to delete arbitrary user accounts, resulting in unauthorized modification of application state and denial of access for affected users. Depending on whether administrators can delete other administrators or the final administrative account, exploitation could also disrupt administration of the CTI-Transmute instance. The patch resolves the issue by restricting the deletion endpoint to HTTP POST requests and submitting the deletion through a form containing a CSRF token. | |||||
