CVE-2026-90651 2026-09-22 N/A 8.1 HIGH
Socket Firewall (socketdev/socket-registry-firewall) in registry mode before 2.0.0 does not verify upstream TLS certificates by default. When the api_ssl_verify and upstream_ssl_verify configuration keys are omitted from socket.yml, the generated configuration sets SOCKET_API_SSL_VERIFY='false' and UPSTREAM_SSL_VERIFY='false', and the OpenResty/Lua HTTP client used for outbound requests accepts any certificate, including self-signed and otherwise untrusted certificates, without validating the chain. An attacker positioned to intercept traffic between Socket Firewall and the Socket API or an upstream package registry can present a crafted certificate and modify responses in transit, including substituting malicious package content or altering the allow/block decisions the firewall enforces. Setting api_ssl_verify: true and upstream_ssl_verify: true enables verification; however, in versions before 1.1.334, the generated nginx configuration did not emit lua_ssl_trusted_certificate, and thus verification could not be used successfully without manually patching the generated configuration. Version 2.0.0 changes the default for both settings to true.
CVE-2026-84850 2026-09-20 N/A 4.8 MEDIUM
Improper certificate validation in the shared HTTP client used by synchronization and integration features in Devolutions Server 2026.2.16 and earlier allows a network-positioned attacker to intercept and tamper with outbound TLS connections via a spoofed or self-signed certificate.
CVE-2026-13327 2026-09-20 N/A 8.3 HIGH
Improper certificate validation on LDAPS connections to Active Directory in Devolutions Server 2026.2.16 and earlier allows a network-positioned attacker to intercept privileged directory service credentials via a spoofed domain controller certificate.
CVE-2026-49457 2026-09-18 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
erlang_quic is a pure Erlang QUIC implementation. Prior to version 1.4.4, the QUIC client did not authenticate the server during the TLS 1.3 handshake. The CertificateVerify signature was not checked, the certificate chain was not validated, and the hostname was not compared against the certificate, so `verify` was effectively a no-op on the client. A man-in-the-middle on the network path could present any certificate and impersonate any server, defeating the confidentiality and integrity of the connection. HTTP/3 uses the same client and was equally affected. Handshakes authenticated by a PSK (session resumption) are not affected, because the peer is authenticated by the PSK binder and no certificate is sent. This is fixed in 1.4.4. The client now verifies the CertificateVerify signature, validates the certificate chain against the trust store (`cacerts` option, the operating system store by default), and checks the hostname. Client `verify` now defaults to on; set `verify => false` to accept any certificate (for example a self-signed test server). No known workarounds are available before 1.4.4. `verify => true` had no effect, and inspecting the certificate after connecting does not help because without the signature check the peer is never proven to own the certificate it presents.
CVE-2026-50149 2026-09-18 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
Contour is a Kubernetes ingress controller using Envoy proxy. In versions 1.23.0 through 1.33.4, when an `HTTPProxy` is configured with incompatible combination of both `.spec.virtualhost.tls.enableFallbackCertificate: true` and `.spec.virtualhost.jwtProviders`, Contour does not reject the configuration. Consequently, requests from clients that do not send TLS SNI or send an unrecognized SNI (one that does not match any `HTTPProxy` FQDN) bypass configured JWT verification and are proxied to upstream services without a valid token. This issue is fixed in Contour v1.33.5. Contour now rejects and marks invalid any `HTTPProxy` resources that combine `.spec.virtualhost.tls.enableFallbackCertificate: true` with `.spec.virtualhost.jwtProviders`. Affected resources will receive a status condition with the error reason `TLSIncompatibleFeatures`. As a workaround, do not enable `.spec.virtualhost.tls.enableFallbackCertificate` on `HTTPProxy` resources that also define `.spec.virtualhost.jwtProviders`. Remove one of the two settings to avoid the invalid configuration.
CVE-2026-49283 2026-09-18 N/A 8.7 HIGH
The SimpleSAMLphp SAML2 library is a PHP library for SAML2 related functionality. Prior to versions 4.19.3, 4.20.2, 5.0.6, and 6.2.1, the HTTPArtifact::receive() flow can treat an unsigned embedded SAML Response as cryptographically valid for the wrong identity provider. SOAPClient::addSSLValidator() attaches a TLS-based validator to the outer SOAP ArtifactResponse, while the embedded Response receives a validator that delegates to the outer message and is later checked against metadata selected from the embedded response issuer rather than necessarily the artifact issuer. SOAPClient::validateSSL() returns normally when the TLS public key does not match the key being validated, and SAML2\Message::validate() treats a validator call that does not throw as successful. In a multi-IdP federation, a malicious or lower-trust IdP can therefore provide an ArtifactResponse containing an unsigned Response that claims a higher-trust victim IdP as issuer and authenticate as arbitrary users with attacker-chosen assertion attributes, NameID, and session data. This issue is fixed in versions 4.19.3, 4.20.2, 5.0.6, and 6.2.1.
CVE-2026-86474 2026-09-18 N/A N/A
The lack of TLS certificate validation when downloading firmware updates in VEO and VEO-XS Wi-Fi monitors, in versions prior to 01.48.001, allows an attacker to perform man-in-the-middle attacks on the update channel.
CVE-2026-40539 2026-09-18 N/A 7.1 HIGH
An improper certificate validation vulnerability in Email API in Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) before 7.2.1-69057-10, 7.2.2-72806-7 and 7.3.2-86009-2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or write arbitrary files and conduct denial-of-service attacks.
CVE-2026-20323 2026-09-18 N/A 8.3 HIGH
A vulnerability in the sftunnel inter-device communication protocol of Cisco Secure FMC Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to impersonate the peer device and obtain access at the level of the manager role, which is equivalent to root. This vulnerability is due to improper management of the TLS certificate for the sftunnel management connection. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the sftunnel port using a crafted TLS certificate. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to become a registered sftunnel peer with root access. Note: The attack is successful only if the sftunnel connection is down or the attack can disrupt the sftunnel connection long enough to execute the attack.
CVE-2026-39835 1 Golang 1 Crypto 2026-09-18 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
SSH servers which use CertChecker as a public key callback without setting IsUserAuthority or IsHostAuthority could be caused to panic by a client presenting a certificate. CertChecker now returns an error instead of panicking when these callbacks are nil.
CVE-2026-33810 1 Golang 1 Go 2026-09-18 N/A 8.2 HIGH
When verifying a certificate chain containing excluded DNS constraints, these constraints are not correctly applied to wildcard DNS SANs which use a different case than the constraint. This only affects validation of otherwise trusted certificate chains, issued by a root CA in the VerifyOptions.Roots CertPool, or in the system certificate pool.
CVE-2021-20327 1 Mongodb 1 Mongodb Client Encryption 2026-09-17 4.3 MEDIUM 6.4 MEDIUM
A specific version of the Node.js mongodb-client-encryption module does not perform correct validation of the KMS server’s certificate. This vulnerability in combination with a privileged network position active MITM attack could result in interception of traffic between the Node.js driver and the KMS service rendering client-side field level encryption (CSFLE) ineffective. This issue was discovered during internal testing and affects mongodb-client-encryption module version 1.2.0, which was available from 2021-Jan-29 and deprecated in the NPM Registry on 2021-Feb-04. This vulnerability does not impact driver traffic payloads with CSFLE-supported key services from applications residing inside the AWS, GCP, and Azure nework fabrics due to compensating controls in these environments. This issue does not impact driver workloads that don’t use Field Level Encryption. This issue affect MongoDB Node.js Driver mongodb-client-encryption module version 1.2.0

CVE-2026-59825 2026-09-16 N/A 7.4 HIGH
Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. Prior to 4.4.19 and from 4.5.0 until 4.5.12, Mastodon's app/models/concerns/user/ldap_authenticable.rb mutates OpenSSL::SSL::SSLContext::DEFAULT_PARAMS when LDAP authentication uses LDAP_TLS_NO_VERIFY=true, disabling SSL and TLS certificate verification globally for requests made by puma web processes while sidekiq background jobs remain unaffected. This issue is fixed in versions 4.4.19 and 4.5.12.
CVE-2026-27137 1 Golang 1 Go 2026-09-16 N/A 7.5 HIGH
When verifying a certificate chain which contains a certificate containing multiple email address constraints which share common local portions but different domain portions, these constraints will not be properly applied, and only the last constraint will be considered.
