CVE-2026-81777 2026-08-28 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in WPDeveloper Essential Addons for Elementor allows Identity Spoofing. This issue affects Essential Addons for Elementor: from n/a through 6.8.0.
CVE-2026-76356 1 Splunk 1 Soar 2026-08-27 N/A 8.1 HIGH
In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.6.0, an unauthenticated user could spoof the source IP address in a crafted request to an Automation Broker notification endpoint and execute arbitrary code on the Splunk SOAR host. The vulnerability is possible because the Splunk SOAR Automation Broker trusts a client-supplied source IP address header as proof that the request originates from the local system. Successful exploitation can expose all relevant data, affect system integrity, and disrupt service availability. For more information see About Splunk SOAR Automation Broker (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-soar/splunk-automation-broker/about-splunk-soar-automation-broker/about-splunk-soar-automation-broker) in the Splunk documentation.
CVE-2026-14450 2026-08-27 N/A 9.9 CRITICAL
A flaw was found in the MaaS API. This vulnerability allows any pod within the cluster to bypass the Kuadrant AuthPolicy gateway by forging HTTP headers, specifically `X-MaaS-Username` and `X-MaaS-Group`, which are trusted verbatim. This lack of first-party authentication enables an attacker to gain unauthorized access and escalate privileges. The concrete consequences include the ability to mint Kubernetes ServiceAccount tokens in other tenants' namespaces, revoke API keys, and exfiltrate sensitive model access configuration.
CVE-2026-72809 2026-08-26 N/A 8.0 HIGH
SiYuan versions <= v3.7.2 (patched in v3.7.4) contain an authentication bypass vulnerability in the kernel's CheckAuth function, which grants the administrator role (RoleAdministrator) to any request whose RemoteAddr is loopback (127.0.0.1) for a specific set of endpoints (including /api/system/exit, getNetwork, getWorkspaceInfo, /assets/*, and /export/*). These localhost bypasses sit outside the access auth code gate, so they apply even when an access auth code is configured. Because the fixed-port reverse proxy forwards requests to the kernel over loopback without injecting an authentication token and does not configure trusted proxies, a request forwarded through this proxy reaches the kernel with RemoteAddr = 127.0.0.1. If the fixed-port proxy is bound to a network interface, this could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to obtain admin access on the affected endpoints; however, per the advisory this remote forwarding behavior was established only by code inspection and was not reproduced end-to-end.
CVE-2026-14840 2026-08-26 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
The YOP Poll WordPress plugin before 7.0.6 does not validate the connection's origin IP address and instead trusts client-controlled forwarding headers when enforcing its per-IP vote restriction, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass the vote limit and cast unlimited votes on a public poll.
CVE-2025-59699 1 Entrust 10 Nshield 5c, Nshield 5c Firmware, Nshield Connect Xc Base and 7 more 2026-08-26 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
Entrust nShield Connect XC, nShield 5c, and nShield HSMi through 13.6.11, or 13.7 (patched in 13.6.12 (LTS) and 13.9.0 (STS)), allow a physically proximate attacker to escalate privileges by booting from a USB device with a valid root filesystem. This occurs because of insecure default settings in the Legacy GRUB Bootloader.
CVE-2026-80349 2026-08-26 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
TarsWeb decides whether a request comes from a trusted local caller using a client-controlled header. app.js sets Koa's proxy option to true without naming which upstream proxies may be trusted and without limiting the number of forwarded hops, so the request address Koa reports is taken from the X-Forwarded-For header supplied by the caller. In midware/ssoMidware.js a single branch covers both the ignored-path list and the ignoreIps allowlist from config/loginConf.js, which contains the loopback address, and that branch assigns the effective account identity from the uid query parameter before falling through to the request without validating any ticket, cookie or password. A request carrying a forged X-Forwarded-For value naming the loopback address and a uid naming an existing account therefore reaches every route the console mounts as that account, including an administrator, with no credential of any kind. Those routes include user and role administration, service configuration, and package upload and deployment. Version 3.0.16 separates the two branches so that a match on the address allowlist assigns the configured default account rather than one named by the caller.
CVE-2026-28900 1 Apple 1 Macos 2026-08-25 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A file quarantine bypass was addressed with additional checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.5. A maliciously crafted ZIP archive may bypass Gatekeeper checks.
CVE-2026-28849 1 Apple 1 Macos 2026-08-25 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM

CVE-2026-71485 2026-08-25 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
Centrifugo is an open-source scalable real-time messaging server. Prior to 6.9.0, Centrifugo copies the client-controlled protocol.ConnectRequest.headers map through OnClientConnecting in internal/client/handler.go, ConnectEvent.Headers, and SetEmulatedHeadersToContext. The requestHeaders path in internal/proxy/http.go, the requestMetadata path in internal/proxy/grpc.go, and the Consume path in internal/unigrpc/grpc.go can forward an allowlisted value as a trusted backend header or metadata value. A remote client can spoof a header such as x-trusted-user for connect, refresh, subscribe, publish, RPC, and related proxy calls when the backend relies on that header for authentication or authorization. The unidirectional gRPC transport has no transport-level HTTP header that can override the emulated value. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.0.
CVE-2026-76835 2026-08-24 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
OAuth2 Proxy honours a client-supplied X-Forwarded-Uri header when deciding whether a request may skip authentication, because the guard added for CVE-2026-40575 is inert in the default reverse-proxy configuration. GetRequestURI in pkg/requests/util/util.go prefers that header over the real request URI whenever CanTrustForwardedHeaders returns true, and isAllowedPath in oauthproxy.go matches the skip_auth_routes and skip_auth_regex allow list against the resulting path. CanTrustForwardedHeaders in pkg/apis/middleware/scope.go grants that trust when the caller's address is in the trusted proxy set, and buildTrustedProxyNetSet falls back to defaultTrustedProxyIPs, which is 0.0.0.0/0 and ::/0, whenever reverse proxy mode is enabled without trusted_proxy_ip configured. Every client is therefore treated as a trusted proxy. An unauthenticated attacker can request a protected upstream path while setting X-Forwarded-Uri to a value matching an allow-listed route, so the skip-auth decision is made against the spoofed value while the upstream receives the protected path unchanged.
CVE-2026-6387 2026-08-24 N/A 7.0 HIGH
A potential authentication bypass vulnerability was reported in Lenovo System Update that could allow a local authenticated user to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
CVE-2026-15812 2026-08-21 N/A 4.8 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found in the internal Access Control List (ACL) subsystem of kronosnet (Version affected: <= 1.34). When the framework is explicitly configured to manage dynamic links (accepting network traffic from any IP address) without network payload encryption, the validation architecture implicitly trusts the link ID provided within incoming data packets. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this lack of validation by spoofing a legitimate link ID inside crafted network frames. This allows the attacker to fully bypass the ACL framework and inject arbitrary data packets into the application layer, potentially leading to data corruption or service instabilities.
CVE-2026-69183 2026-08-20 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Monkeytype is a minimalistic and customizable typing test. In 26.26.0 and earlier, the backend rate-limit key generator in backend/src/middlewares/rate-limit.ts uses client-controlled cf-connecting-ip and x-forwarded-for headers before the trust-proxy-derived req.ip value. An unauthenticated attacker can rotate either header to create a new bucket for each request, bypassing rootRateLimiter, badAuthRateLimiter, getKey(), and the getKeyWithUid() fallback used by public endpoints. This permits repeated POST /users/forgotPasswordEmail and verificationEmail requests, mail bombing registered users, consuming Firebase or SMTP quota, evading brute-force protection, and enabling resource exhaustion. Exploitability of cf-connecting-ip depends on deployment topology, but x-forwarded-for and direct-to-origin paths remain affected when those values are not overwritten by a trusted proxy. No fixed version is available as of this review.

Microsoft Edge for iOS Spoofing Vulnerability
CVE-2021-42308 1 Microsoft 1 Edge Chromium 2026-08-19 5.0 MEDIUM 3.1 LOW
Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) Spoofing Vulnerability
CVE-2026-72815 2026-08-18 N/A N/A
go-chi chi versions >= 5.2.1 and before 5.3.0 contain an IP spoofing vulnerability in the RealIP middleware, which blindly trusts the first (leftmost) value of the X-Forwarded-For HTTP header. A remote attacker can bypass IP-based access control lists and rate-limiting mechanisms, and forge log entries, by supplying a spoofed IP address in the X-Forwarded-For header. The issue is fixed in version 5.3.0.
CVE-2026-46731 1 Dell 1 Display And Peripheral Manager 2026-08-17 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Dell Display and Peripheral Manager (DDPM Windows), versions prior to 2.3.0.17, contain an Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of Privileges and arbitrary code execution.
