| CVE-2026-14444 | 2026-09-08 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| The WP Fusion (Pro) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.47.13. This is due to insufficient authorization checks on the role parameter in the ThriveCart Auto Login handler's thrivecart() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, and who possess the access_key, to create a new user account with administrator privileges and gain full control over the WordPress site. The required access_key is intentionally shared with ThriveCart customers as part of the plugin's documented setup process, making it accessible to attackers who have made a purchase. The vulnerability is only exploitable when the ThriveCart Auto Login option is enabled. | |||||

| A vulnerability was detected in SourceCodester Syllabus-Aligned Learning Management & Examination System 1.0. This vulnerability affects the function register of the file auth.php. Performing a manipulation of the argument role results in improper privilege management. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is now public and may be used. | |||||
| CVE-2026-81543 | 2026-09-08 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| The Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 10.7.1. This is due to missing capability checks and nonce verification on multiple AJAX actions including wcap_save_connector_settings, wcap_send_manual_email, wcap_abandoned_cart_info, and wcap_change_manual_email_data. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to modify SMTP connector settings to route administrator recovery emails through an attacker-controlled server and intercept auto-login links to gain full administrative access. The plugin's auto-login feature must be enabled, which is the default configuration. | |||||

| The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended WordPress plugin before 0.9.2.7 does not restrict the role submitted through its front-end user forms to the roles the form actually offers, and its safeguard against privileged roles is incomplete, allowing unauthenticated visitors to register an account with elevated capabilities and then escalate it to administrator. | |||||
| CVE-2026-19453 | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH | ||
| The JetBackup WordPress plugin before 3.1.23.5 does not verify the role or capabilities of the account it preserves across a restore or migration before granting it administrator privileges, allowing a subscriber-level user to gain administrator access after the site owner restores or migrates the site. | |||||
| CVE-2026-81583 | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM | ||
| The My Login WordPress plugin before 7.2.0 does not enforce the network's registration setting when processing site signups on multisite installations, allowing users with a subscriber account, and unauthenticated users on some networks, to create new sites and be granted administrator over them. | |||||
| CVE-2026-84358 | 1 Google | 1 Chrome | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 4.2 MEDIUM |
| Improper privilege management in Downloads in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.75 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to spoof address bar via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | |||||
| CVE-2026-18759 | 2026-09-03 | N/A | N/A | ||
| The background service of ABP or AES runs as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM and implements a file-based inter-process communication (IPC) mechanism protected by AES encryption. Because the encryption key file is readable by standard users and protected using DPAPI. Any authenticated local user can recover the key and forge valid IPC requests. Furthermore, the service does not check the identity of the requesting process and validates destination paths using an insufficient substring check. A local attacker can submit crafted encrypted requests containing directory traversal sequences to perform arbitrary file reads and arbitrary file writes as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, leading to full local privilege escalation. Affected products and versions include: ABP (ASUSTOR Backup Plan) 2.0.7.10171 and earlier as well as AES (ASUSTOR EZSync) 1.1.1.3113 and earlier. | |||||
| CVE-2026-10522 | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| The MemberHero WordPress plugin through 6.9 does not restrict which account fields can be supplied during its frontend registration process, allowing unauthenticated attackers to register a new user with an arbitrary role, including Administrator, leading to a full site takeover. Version 6.9 is advertised as resolving this issue, but the fix is incomplete and the current version remains exploitable by unauthenticated attackers to obtain administrator access and to take over existing accounts. No version that fully addresses the issue is available at the time of this advisory. Mitigation: deactivate and remove the MemberHero WordPress plugin through 6.9 until a version that fully resolves this issue is released. If the MemberHero WordPress plugin through 6.9 must stay active, disable public registration, restrict access to the registration functionality, and monitor the site for unexpected administrator accounts. | |||||

| CVE-2026-37071 | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| Arbitrary File Rename Leading to Privilege Escalation in Actions::renameFile() function in Veno File Manager Project 4.4.9 allows an authenticated attacker with 'reanme' permission to take over the super administrator account via a specially crafted POST request to the affected endpoint renaming the application configuration file and triggering a rebuild of configuration and resetting super administrator credentials to default values. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72631 | 1 Elastic | 1 Kibana | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Improper Privilege Management (CWE-269) in Kibana Fleet can lead to privilege escalation via Privilege Escalation (CAPEC-233). An integration policy may optionally declare extra data streams that the integration writes to, which Fleet adds to the Elasticsearch API key issued to Elastic Agents enrolled in the corresponding agent policy. The resulting key allows new documents to be inserted and index mappings to be extended for specific indices. The key does not allow reading, updating, or deleting existing documents | |||||
| CVE-2026-18550 | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| The Nokri - Job Board WordPress Theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Account Takeover in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.6. This is due to insufficient reset token validation in the `nokri_reset_password()` function, which allows empty attacker-supplied reset tokens to match empty or unset `sb_password_forget_token` user meta values. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to reset the password of any user, including administrators, and gain access to their account. | |||||
