| CVE-2026-54553 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM | ||
| Starlette-Admin is a fast, beautiful and extensible administrative interface framework for FastAPI and Starlette applications. Prior to 0.16.1, the list API does not validate user-supplied order_by and structured where field names against the configured sortable_fields and searchable_fields allowlists. An authenticated user with access to an affected list endpoint can submit arbitrary field names to starlette_admin/base.py and the BaseModelView validation path, bypassing restrictions presented by the administrative user interface. Requests can sort or filter on fields that are not intended to be sortable or searchable, causing limited information exposure. Invalid field names and special Python attribute names such as metadata and the class dunder attribute can also trigger unhandled exceptions and HTTP 500 responses, causing limited denial of service for targeted requests. This issue is fixed in version 0.16.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-63403 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Faktory is a language-agnostic background job server. In versions prior to 1.10.0, the server is vulnerable to an unauthenticated denial of service in which a single malformed command crashes the entire process. Its wire protocol is line-based, and several command handlers slice or index the received line at a fixed offset, such as cmd[5:] for PUSH or qs[0] for QUEUE, without checking that a payload is present. Sending a bare verb with no payload, for example PUSH, ACK, FAIL, BEAT, PUSHB, or QUEUE, triggers a Go slice or index out-of-range panic. Because the codebase has no recover() anywhere in the command-dispatch path, an unrecovered panic in a handler goroutine terminates the whole Go process rather than just that connection, instantly disconnecting every other client, worker, and in-flight job. The attack requires only a connection to the command port and completion of the trivial handshake, with no credentials when no password is configured, and can be repeated to keep the service down indefinitely. This issue is fixed in version 1.10.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-55484 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| ALOS HTTP is a Linux-first Go web framework and application server built around a custom networking stack. Prior to 0.0.0-20260617230736-314b6783e196, core/utils.go::sanitizeRequestPath calls splitPathQuery on a request path beginning with a question mark and then performs the unchecked p[0] access without checking whether the resulting path is empty. An unauthenticated client can send a malformed request such as a question-mark-only path through h1_plain.go::ParseH1RequestHead, hpack.go::decodeSimpleGetPathHTTPSRequest, hpack.go::observeHeader, or h3_conn.go::handleRequestStream, causing an out-of-bounds panic before core.Recovery() middleware runs and terminating the server process. This issue is fixed in pseudo-version 0.0.0-20260617230736-314b6783e196. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73418 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| NextAuth.js provides authentication for Next.js. Prior to @auth/core 0.41.3 and next-auth 4.24.15 and 5.0.0-beta.32, the exported getToken() helper in the next-auth/jwt and @auth/core/jwt modules can throw an uncaught exception when it reads a malformed Authorization: Bearer header. When no session cookie is present, getToken() URL-decodes the bearer value before validating it, and malformed percent encoding causes decodeURIComponent() to throw instead of treating the token as invalid. Because getToken() is commonly called in API routes, middleware, and server-side request handlers, a single unauthenticated request can trigger an unhandled exception in code paths that authenticate requests, causing a per-request denial of service without exposing tokens, sessions, or other data and without bypassing authentication. This issue is fixed in @auth/core 0.41.3 and next-auth 4.24.15 and 5.0.0-beta.32. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73088 | 2026-09-09 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Browserslist is a configuration tool for sharing target browsers and Node.js versions between front-end tools. Prior to 4.28.7, normalizeStats() in node.js, reached unconditionally through getStat() and loadStat() on every browserslist() call, processes untrusted browserslist-stats.json, opts.stats, and CLI --stats data with an unguarded for...in loop and plain-object bracket access and assignment, allowing inherited Object.prototype keys including __proto__, toString, valueOf, constructor, hasOwnProperty, and isPrototypeOf to cause an uncaught TypeError or modify the prototype of the returned normalized object. This issue is fixed in version 4.28.7. | |||||
| CVE-2026-2229 | 1 Nodejs | 1 Undici | 2026-09-04 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| ImpactThe undici WebSocket client is vulnerable to a denial-of-service attack due to improper validation of the server_max_window_bits parameter in the permessage-deflate extension. When a WebSocket client connects to a server, it automatically advertises support for permessage-deflate compression. A malicious server can respond with an out-of-range server_max_window_bits value (outside zlib's valid range of 8-15). When the server subsequently sends a compressed frame, the client attempts to create a zlib InflateRaw instance with the invalid windowBits value, causing a synchronous RangeError exception that is not caught, resulting in immediate process termination. The vulnerability exists because: * The isValidClientWindowBits() function only validates that the value contains ASCII digits, not that it falls within the valid range 8-15 * The createInflateRaw() call is not wrapped in a try-catch block * The resulting exception propagates up through the call stack and crashes the Node.js process | |||||
| CVE-2026-1528 | 1 Nodejs | 1 Undici | 2026-09-04 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| ImpactA server can reply with a WebSocket frame using the 64-bit length form and an extremely large length. undici's ByteParser overflows internal math, ends up in an invalid state, and throws a fatal TypeError that terminates the process. Patches Patched in the undici version v7.24.0 and v6.24.0. Users should upgrade to this version or later. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82417 | 2026-09-03 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| ### Summary `qs.stringify` throws a `TypeError` when it serializes an object whose own `constructor` property has a truthy, non-callable `isBuffer` member. `utils.isBuffer` duck-types buffers by calling `obj.constructor.isBuffer(obj)` after checking only that the property is truthy, so a value such as `{ constructor: { isBuffer: "x" } }` makes the call throw `TypeError: obj.constructor.isBuffer is not a function`. ### Details `lib/stringify.js:127` calls `utils.isBuffer` on every non-primitive value it serializes. `utils.isBuffer` (`lib/utils.js:332`) reads `obj.constructor.isBuffer` and invokes it without verifying that it is a function. `constructor` and `isBuffer` are ordinary property names, so any object carrying them as own properties reaches the unchecked call. Such an object can be built from untrusted input. `qs.parse("x[constructor][isBuffer]=y", { plainObjects: true })` or `{ allowPrototypes: true }` keeps the `constructor` key as an own property (the default parse options drop it), and `JSON.parse("{\"a\":{\"constructor\":{\"isBuffer\":\"x\"}}}")` produces the same shape with no qs option involved. Express 4 with its default `query parser` setting and body-parser with `extended: true` both call `qs.parse` with `allowPrototypes: true`, so on those stacks `req.query` and `req.body` can carry the shape directly. #### PoC ```js var qs = require("qs"); qs.stringify(qs.parse("x[constructor][isBuffer]=y", { plainObjects: true })); qs.stringify(JSON.parse("{\"a\":{\"constructor\":{\"isBuffer\":\"x\"}}}")); // TypeError: obj.constructor.isBuffer is not a function // at Object.isBuffer (lib/utils.js:332:78) // at stringify (lib/stringify.js:127:45) ``` #### Fix `lib/utils.js`, applied in e83d321 on `main` and released as v6.16.0: ```diff - return !!(obj.constructor && obj.constructor.isBuffer && obj.constructor.isBuffer(obj)); + return !!(obj.constructor && typeof obj.constructor.isBuffer === "function" && obj.constructor.isBuffer(obj)); ``` Real `Buffer`, `safer-buffer`, and browserify `buffer` polyfill instances serialize exactly as before; only the throw is removed. ### Affected versions `>=2.2.5 <6.16.0`, fixed in v6.16.0. The unguarded duck-type was introduced in 3768a75 and first shipped in v2.2.5 (September 2014). v2.2.4 and earlier used `Buffer.isBuffer` and are not affected. Every release from v2.2.5 through v6.15.3 contains the unguarded call. ### Impact An unauthenticated request can make any code path that re-serializes attacker-influenced data with `qs.stringify` (for example, rebuilding a query string from `req.query` for a redirect or an upstream request, or serializing a parsed JSON body) throw synchronously. In a typical Node.js HTTP framework the throw is caught by the framework error boundary and the affected request returns a 500; the process survives and other requests are unaffected. Where the call runs outside an error boundary, such as an `async` Express 4 handler (where the throw becomes an unhandled promise rejection) or a background job, the process exits, so the impact in that case depends on the application error handling rather than on qs. | |||||
| CVE-2026-49096 | 1 Elastic | 1 Kibana | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
| Uncaught Exception (CWE-248) in Kibana Cases can lead to denial of service via Input Data Manipulation (CAPEC-153). Malformed link syntax stored in a case comment was not rejected or sanitized when the comment was later formatted for display, and the resulting unhandled error prevented the affected case from being displayed. An authenticated user holding privileges to comment on a case could store such a comment, after which that case became inaccessible to every user who opened it until the stored comment was removed. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77078 | 1 Expressjs | 1 Multer | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| multer is a middleware for handling multipart/form-data in Node.js. A small multipart request containing two specially crafted text field names can cause an uncaught RangeError (Invalid array length) that terminates the Node.js process. The first field uses a very large numeric array index to allocate a maximum-length sparse array, and a second field then pushes past that length, which throws inside the append-field dependency and is not caught by multer. All versions before 2.3.0 are affected, and the issue is a remotely triggerable denial of service. The issue is fixed in multer 2.3.0. Upgrade to multer 2.3.0 to remediate. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72644 | 1 Elastic | 1 Kibana | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Uncaught Exception (CWE-248) in Kibana can lead to a denial of service via Input Data Manipulation (CAPEC-153). An authenticated user holding only the low-privileged feature access required to use the Observability AI Assistant can submit a specially crafted request that produces an unhandled error condition, terminating the Kibana process and denying service to all users and spaces on that instance until it is restarted. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72660 | 1 Elastic | 1 Kibana | 2026-09-02 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Uncaught Exception (CWE-248), resulting from Improper Input Validation (CWE-20), in Kibana can lead to denial of service via Input Data Manipulation (CAPEC-153). An authenticated user holding only low-privileged access can cause an internal error condition in Kibana by supplying specially crafted data. The resulting error is raised on an execution path so it propagates as an uncaught exception and terminates the Kibana process. Kibana is unavailable to all users until the service is restarted, and the condition can be triggered repeatedly. | |||||
| CVE-2026-20775 | 1 Intel | 153 Tdx Module, Xeon 4108, Xeon 6315p and 150 more | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Uncaught exception for some Intel(R) TDX modules within Ring 0: Trust Domain may allow a denial of service. System software adversary with a privileged user combined with a high complexity attack may enable denial of service. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (high) impacts. | |||||
| CVE-2026-82254 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| gitoxide before 0.69.0 contains unchecked array indexing in delta application and uncapped allocation from attacker-controlled size headers in gix-pack. Attackers can send crafted pack data during clone or fetch operations to trigger panics or out-of-memory process kills. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31812 | 2026-08-25 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| Quinn is a pure-Rust, async-compatible implementation of the IETF QUIC transport protocol. Prior to 0.11.14, a remote, unauthenticated attacker can trigger a denial of service in applications using vulnerable quinn versions by sending a crafted QUIC Initial packet containing malformed quic_transport_parameters. In quinn-proto parsing logic, attacker-controlled varints are decoded with unwrap(), so truncated encodings cause Err(UnexpectedEnd) and panic. This is reachable over the network with a single packet and no prior trust or authentication. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.11.14. | |||||
| CVE-2026-20068 | 1 Cisco | 4 Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense, Snort and 1 more | 2026-08-18 | N/A | 5.8 MEDIUM |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 detection engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection. This vulnerability is due to incomplete error checking when parsing remote procedure call (RPC) data. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted RPC packets through an established connection to be parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the Snort 3 Detection Engine unexpectedly restarts. | |||||
| CVE-2023-20086 | 1 Cisco | 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| A vulnerability in ICMPv6 processing of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to improper processing of ICMPv6 messages. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted ICMPv6 messages to a targeted Cisco ASA or FTD system with IPv6 enabled. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. | |||||
| CVE-2026-13697 | 1 Nodejs | 1 Undici | 2026-08-04 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| undici's cache interceptor mishandles malformed Cache-Control private directives. In undici 7.0.0 up to before 7.29.0 and 8.0.0 up to before 8.9.0, a response carrying a degenerate qualified private directive, such as private set to an empty value, can be stored in the default shared cache and later served to a different caller with the same cache key, disclosing private response bodies and headers including Set-Cookie. Separately, a Cache-Control header that combines an unqualified private directive with a qualified one triggers an uncaught TypeError in the cache-control parser, which rejects the request and, depending on the consumer's error handling, can terminate the process. Both issues affect applications using the cache interceptor in shared mode, including the default configuration. The issues are fixed in undici 7.29.0 and 8.9.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-44905 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| Vanetza is an open-source implementation of the ETSI C-ITS protocol suite. In 26.02 and earlier, a denial-of-service vulnerability was identified in the cryptographic verification pipeline of Vanetza. When processing incoming V2X messages, the ASN.1 decoder accepts the structure as syntactically valid. However, this reveals a logic-based protocol failure where semantic constraints on specific fields are only strictly enforced during OER re-encoding. Specifically, if a crafted packet contains a certificate where the Psid (Provider Service Identifier) sub-type violates subtype constraints (e.g., out-of-range or invalid CHOICE variant), it is accepted during initial parsing, where subtype constraints are not enforced. Later, when StraightVerifyService attempts to calculate a message hash for cryptographic verification, it must re-encode the signing certificate. The underlying ASN.1 wrapper (asn1c_wrapper.cpp) detects the semantic violation during encoding and raises a std::runtime_error. This exception is not caught within the encoding path and propagates to std::terminate, resulting in immediate process termination. This vulnerability is fixed with commit e1a2e2709210d309458c3d77f98d50dec26c0df0. | |||||
| CVE-2025-15649 | 2026-07-24 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM | ||
| IO::Uncompress::Unzip versions before 2.215 for Perl propagate uncaught exception when parsing zip header with malformed DOS date. _dosToUnixTime() decodes the local-file-header last-modification date field and calls Time::Local::timelocal() without an eval guard. A header whose date field decodes to an out-of-range month, day, or hour causes timelocal() to die. The exception propagates out of IO::Uncompress::Unzip->new($file) where callers expect undef plus $UnzipError. | |||||
