| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/tcp-md5: Fix MAC comparison to be constant-time To prevent timing attacks, MACs need to be compared in constant time. Use the appropriate helper function for this. | |||||

| Mattermost versions 10.5.x <= 10.5.10, 10.11.x <= 10.11.2 fail to use constant-time comparison for sensitive string comparisons which allows attackers to exploit timing oracles to perform byte-by-byte brute force attacks via response time analysis on Cloud API keys and OAuth client secrets | |||||

| CVE-2025-52457 | 2026-10-18 | N/A | 5.7 MEDIUM | ||
| Observable Timing Discrepancy (CWE-208) in HBUS devices may allow an attacker with physical access to the device to extract device-specific keys, potentially compromising further site security. This issue affects Command Centre Server: 9.30 prior to vCR9.30.251028a (distributed in 9.30.2881 (MR3)), 9.20 prior to vCR9.20.251028a (distributed in 9.20.3265 (MR5)), 9.10 prior to vCR9.10.251028a (distributed in 9.10.4135 (MR8)), all versions of 9.00 and prior. | |||||
| CVE-2026-49265 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM | ||
| OAuthLib is an implementation of the OAuth request-signing logic for Python 3.6+. From 3.0.0 until 4.0.0, OAuthLib's PKCE checks in oauthlib/oauth2/rfc6749/grant_types/authorization_code.py compare attacker-supplied code_verifier values with stored challenges using ordinary string equality in code_challenge_method_plain and code_challenge_method_s256. Because the comparison can return after a length difference or the first mismatching character, repeated token endpoint measurements can reveal common-prefix timing information that could potentially allow recovery of the code_verifier, unauthorized access-token acquisition, and account takeover. Practical exploitation requires an intercepted, single-use authorization code and enough measurements to overcome real-world network noise; the local timing benchmark does not establish practical remote account takeover, so the weakness remains a defense-in-depth concern. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-109379 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM | ||
| Cockpit CMS 2.14.1 contains an observable timing discrepancy vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate accounts due to an incomplete timing fix in /auth/check. Attackers can post login attempts and measure response times, since existing accounts incur two bcrypt operations versus one, revealing valid usernames and email addresses. | |||||
| CVE-2026-24715 | 2026-10-15 | N/A | N/A | ||
| An observable timing discrepancy vulnerability has been reported to affect QuRouter. If exploited, the vulnerability could allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive data. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: QuRouter 2.7.2.113 and later | |||||
| CVE-2026-83535 | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH | ||
| A flaw was found in openstack-network-exporter. When an operator configures user authentication but omits or misconfigures Transport Layer Security (TLS), the basic authentication mechanism is silently bypassed. This fail-open design allows an adjacent network attacker to access sensitive Open vSwitch (OVS) and Open Virtual Network (OVN) dataplane metrics without credentials. Consequently, an attacker can enumerate bridge names, port counters, OVN controller state, and host topology, leading to information disclosure. | |||||
| CVE-2024-42512 | 1 Opcfoundation | 1 Ua .net Standard Stack | 2026-10-15 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| Vulnerability in the OPC UA .NET Standard Stack before 1.5.374.158 allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass application authentication when the deprecated Basic128Rsa15 security policy is enabled. | |||||
| CVE-2023-5981 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Gnutls and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| A vulnerability was found that the response times to malformed ciphertexts in RSA-PSK ClientKeyExchange differ from response times of ciphertexts with correct PKCS#1 v1.5 padding. | |||||
| CVE-2026-5419 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 3.7 LOW | ||
| A flaw was found in gnutls. The PKCS#7 padding check, performed during decryption, was not constant-time. This timing side-channel could allow a remote attacker to potentially leak sensitive information about the padding bytes through observable timing differences. This vulnerability is a form of information disclosure. | |||||
| CVE-2026-53525 | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH | ||
| WeeChat (Wee Enhanced Environment for Chat) is a free chat client. In versions 0.3.1 through 4.9.0, the WeeChat relay authentication uses non-constant-time string comparison functions (weechat_strcasecmp and strcmp) to verify password hashes and plaintext passwords. An attacker can exploit timing differences to extract the server-computed hash character by character, then authenticate using the correct hash without knowing the password. Version 4.9.1 fixes the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72700 | 2026-10-12 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| The getgrav/grav-plugin-login Composer plugin before 3.9.1 (used by Grav) compares password reset and account activation tokens using a non-constant-time === string comparison instead of hash_equals() in classes/Controller.php (taskReset()) and login.php (activation handler). Because the token-submission endpoint (taskReset) also lacks rate limiting, an attacker could in principle send repeated token guesses against a known username and use the timing differences to attempt to recover a valid token, though the vendor rates the practical exploitability as low and no end-to-end network exploit has been demonstrated. | |||||
| CVE-2026-72701 | 2026-10-12 | N/A | 3.7 LOW | ||
| Grav CMS before 2.0.16 contains a timing vulnerability in Utils::verifyNonce() that uses non-constant-time string comparison with the === operator instead of hash_equals() for CSRF nonce validation. Attackers can measure response timing differences to recover valid nonce values byte-by-byte through multiple requests, weakening CSRF protection below its intended security margin. | |||||
| CVE-2025-59432 | 2026-10-11 | N/A | N/A | ||
| SCRAM (Salted Challenge Response Authentication Mechanism) is part of the family of Simple Authentication and Security Layer (SASL, RFC 4422) authentication mechanisms. Prior to version 3.2, a timing attack vulnerability exists in the SCRAM Java implementation. The issue arises because Arrays.equals was used to compare secret values such as client proofs and server signatures. Since Arrays.equals performs a short-circuit comparison, the execution time varies depending on how many leading bytes match. This behavior could allow an attacker to perform a timing side-channel attack and potentially infer sensitive authentication material. All users relying on SCRAM authentication are impacted. This vulnerability has been patched in version 3.1 by replacing Arrays.equals with MessageDigest.isEqual, which ensures constant-time comparison. | |||||
| CVE-2026-107269 | 2026-10-10 | N/A | 3.7 LOW | ||
| Gophish through 0.12.1 contains a timing discrepancy vulnerability in AdminServer.Login that allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate valid usernames by measuring login response times. Attackers can submit candidate usernames to POST /login and detect bcrypt comparison delays for existing accounts, narrowing targets for password guessing or credential stuffing. | |||||
