| CVE-2026-114653 | 2026-10-30 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| A client-side encryption schema construction component in the MongoDB C# Driver places caller-supplied field identifiers into a position that is interpreted as a pattern expression, without normalizing or validating them. As a result, an application that designates certain fields for client-side field-level encryption may have the protection silently fail to apply, so data intended to be encrypted is stored and returned in cleartext; conversely, the rule may apply more broadly than intended. No user action is required to cause the condition, and any party with ordinary read access to the stored data — without possession of the encryption keys — can observe the unprotected values. | |||||
| CVE-2026-111057 | 2026-10-28 | N/A | 10.0 CRITICAL | ||
| Mercury is a Python framework for sharing Jupyter notebooks as web applications and dashboards. From 3.0.0 until 3.2.4, a missing comma in BLOCKED_PATTERNS concatenates the /lab and /api/terminals regular-expression literals. Requests to /api/terminals therefore bypass the anonymous endpoint blocklist and reach Jupyter Server's terminal API. An unauthenticated attacker can use the resulting interactive operating-system shell to execute commands and access data available to the Mercury process. This issue is fixed in version 3.2.4. | |||||
| CVE-2026-4296 | 1 Github | 1 Enterprise Server | 2026-10-26 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| An incorrect regular expression vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker to bypass OAuth redirect URI validation. An attacker with knowledge of a first-party OAuth application's registered callback URL could craft a malicious authorization link that, when clicked by a victim, would redirect the OAuth authorization code to an attacker-controlled domain. This could allow the attacker to gain unauthorized access to the victim's account with the scopes granted to the OAuth application. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.21 and was fixed in versions 3.20.1, 3.19.5, 3.18.8, 3.17.14, 3.16.17, 3.15.21, 3.14.26. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program. | |||||
| CVE-2026-25542 | 1 Linuxfoundation | 1 Tekton Pipelines | 2026-10-26 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Tekton Pipelines project provides k8s-style resources for declaring CI/CD-style pipelines. Starting in version 0.43.0 and prior to versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1, trusted resources verification policies match a resource source string (refSource.URI) against spec.resources[].pattern using regexp.MatchString. In Go, regexp.MatchString reports a match if the pattern matches anywhere in the string, so common unanchored patterns (including examples in tekton documentation) can be bypassed by attacker-controlled source strings that contain the trusted pattern as a substring. This can cause an unintended policy match and change which verification mode/keys apply. Versions 1.0.2, 1.3.4, 1.6.2, 1.9.3, and 1.11.1 fix the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73425 | 2026-10-24 | N/A | 3.7 LOW | ||
| Astro is a web framework for content-driven websites. Prior to 8.1.2, the Astro Netlify adapter converts each image.remotePatterns entry into a regular expression written to .netlify/v1/config.json under images.remote_images for Netlify's Image CDN allowlist. In packages/integrations/netlify/src/index.ts, remotePatternToRegex() escapes dots in hostname values but interpolates literal pathname values without escaping regular expression metacharacters such as ., +, ?, (, and [, so a restrictive pathname such as /img/v1.0/file also matches metacharacter-adjacent paths, including paths that cross a segment. Netlify enforces the generated regular expression directly and Astro's matchPattern() helper does not revalidate the request, allowing optimization of images on an already-allowed host that the declared pathname was intended to exclude. This issue is fixed in version 8.1.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-111755 | 2026-10-19 | N/A | N/A | ||
| follow-redirects is a Node.js HTTP and HTTPS client wrapper that automatically follows redirects. From 1.16.0 until 1.16.1, escapeRegex leaves valid header-name metacharacters unescaped in sensitiveHeaders. When an application declares a sensitive header whose name contains ^ or | and follows a cross-origin or HTTPS-to-HTTP redirect, unescaped regular-expression metacharacters prevent the generated filter from matching the declared header name, and the credential header is forwarded to an attacker-controlled redirect target. This issue is fixed in version 1.16.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-47674 | 1 Hono | 1 Hono | 2026-10-14 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Hono is a Web application framework that provides support for any JavaScript runtime. Prior to 4.12.21, the ip-restriction middleware (hono/ip-restriction) compares incoming IP addresses against configured deny and allow rules using string equality after partial normalization. Non-canonical IPv6 representations of an address already listed in a static rule — such as compressed forms, explicit-zero forms, or hex-notation IPv4-mapped addresses — do not match the normalized rule entry, causing the rule to be silently skipped. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.12.21. | |||||
| CVE-2018-7158 | 1 Nodejs | 1 Node.js | 2026-10-08 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| The `'path'` module in the Node.js 4.x release line contains a potential regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) vector. The code in question was replaced in Node.js 6.x and later so this vulnerability only impacts all versions of Node.js 4.x. The regular expression, `splitPathRe`, used within the `'path'` module for the various path parsing functions, including `path.dirname()`, `path.extname()` and `path.parse()` was structured in such a way as to allow an attacker to craft a string, that when passed through one of these functions, could take a significant amount of time to evaluate, potentially leading to a full denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54506 | 2026-09-23 | N/A | 7.6 HIGH | ||
| Vvveb is a powerful and easy to use CMS with page builder to build websites, blogs or ecommerce stores. Prior to 1.0.8.5, app/controller/user/profile.php accepts the user[bio] field and passes stored content through sanitizeHTML() in system/functions.php, whose on* event-handler regular expression omits the forward-slash delimiter and whose do-while condition compares the string to itself, so forbidden nested tags are removed only once. An Author-role or higher user can submit solidus-prefixed event-handler markup or nested forbidden tags that survive sanitization. The stored bio is rendered without sufficient output encoding on /author/{username}, in the admin user-management view, and potentially in comment displays, causing attacker-controlled JavaScript to execute when unauthenticated visitors, administrators, or other users view the content. This can expose browser-session data and permit victim-context account actions, defacement, or phishing. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.8.5. | |||||
| CVE-2026-64655 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | N/A | ||
| GitHub CLI (gh) is GitHub’s official command line tool. Prior to 2.97.0, gh attestation verify builds the certificate Subject Alternative Name matcher from the --signer-repo and --signer-workflow flag values without escaping regex metacharacters, so a user-supplied repository or workflow name is treated as a regular expression rather than a literal string. Because GitHub permits characters such as `.` in organization, repository, and workflow path names and `.` is a regex wildcard, an attacker can register a lookalike name (for example github/artifact.attestations-workflows) that satisfies a matcher intended for a different trusted signer (github/artifact-attestations-workflows), bypassing the intended Sigstore attestation verification. Exploitation requires the attacker to create a plausible lookalike repository and produce valid attestations from it, which could undermine supply chain verification for CI/CD pipelines or policy gates that pin trust to a specific signing workflow. This issue is fixed in version 2.97.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-88021 | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH | ||
| Consul and Consul Enterprise are vulnerable to an authorization bypass in the Connect service mesh that may allow a service to reach a destination it is not authorized to access. When building Envoy RBAC rules to enforce Connect intentions, Consul did not correctly escape certain characters in service names, namespaces, and partitions, causing the generated authorization rules to match more broadly than intended. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-88021) is fixed in Consul 2.0.4 and Consul Enterprise 1.21.18, 1.22.12 and 2.0.4. | |||||
| CVE-2026-25896 | 1 Naturalintelligence | 1 Fast-xml-parser | 2026-09-10 | N/A | 9.3 CRITICAL |
| fast-xml-parser allows users to validate XML, parse XML to JS object, or build XML from JS object without C/C++ based libraries and no callback. From 4.1.3to before 5.3.5, a dot (.) in a DOCTYPE entity name is treated as a regex wildcard during entity replacement, allowing an attacker to shadow built-in XML entities (<, >, &, ", ') with arbitrary values. This bypasses entity encoding and leads to XSS when parsed output is rendered. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.3.5. | |||||
| CVE-2026-56021 | 1 Webmin | 1 Webmin | 2026-08-11 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Webmin allows unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of any file ending in .conf within module directories, due to a bypassable regex pattern. | |||||
| CVE-2026-45065 | 1 Sensiolabs | 1 Symfony | 2026-07-15 | N/A | 6.1 MEDIUM |
| Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, UrlGenerator validates route parameters against a pattern built as ^ plus the raw requirement plus $; with ungrouped alternations, middle alternatives match as unanchored substrings, allowing a value such as //evil.com to satisfy a common locale requirement and generate a protocol-relative off-site URL. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.52, 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12. | |||||
| CVE-2026-48147 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.35.4, the buildMatcherRegex() / matches() functions in packages/backend-core/src/middleware/matchers.ts route patterns are compiled into unanchored regular expressions and tested against ctx.request.url, which includes the full query string. The CSRF middleware in the Budibase Worker uses this matching system to decide whether to skip CSRF token validation. An unauthenticated attacker can forge state-changing cross-origin requests against any Worker API endpoint by injecting a public route pattern into the query string, causing the CSRF middleware to skip token validation entirely. This allows actions such as sending admin invites, modifying global configuration, and managing users without a valid CSRF token. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.35.4. | |||||
| CVE-2026-3419 | 1 Fastify | 1 Fastify | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Fastify incorrectly accepts malformed `Content-Type` headers containing trailing characters after the subtype token, in violation of RFC 9110 §8.3.1(https://httpwg.org/specs/rfc9110.html#field.content-type). For example, a request sent with Content-Type: application/json garbage passes validation and is processed normally, rather than being rejected with 415 Unsupported Media Type. When regex-based content-type parsers are in use (a documented Fastify feature), the malformed value is matched against registered parsers using the full string including the trailing garbage. This means a request with an invalid content-type may be routed to and processed by a parser it should never have reached. Impact: An attacker can send requests with RFC-invalid Content-Type headers that bypass validity checks, reach content-type parser matching, and be processed by the server. Requests that should be rejected at the validation stage are instead handled as if the content-type were valid. Workarounds: Deploy a WAF rule to protect against this Fix: The fix is available starting with v5.8.1. | |||||
| CVE-2026-39350 | 1 Istio | 1 Istio | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
| Istio is an open platform to connect, manage, and secure microservices. In versions 1.25.0 through 1.27.8, 1.28.0 through 1.28.5, 1.29.0, and 1.29.1, the serviceAccounts and notServiceAccounts fields in AuthorizationPolicy incorrectly interpret dots (.) as a regular expression matcher. Because . is a valid character in a service account name, an AuthorizationPolicy ALLOW rule targeting a service account such as cert-manager.io also matches cert-manager-io, cert-managerXio, etc. A DENY rule targeting the same name fails to block those variants. Fixes are available in versions 1.29.2, 1.28.6, and 1.27.9. | |||||
| CVE-2026-33418 | 1 Dicebear | 1 Dicebear | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| DiceBear is an avatar library for designers and developers. Prior to version 9.4.2, the `ensureSize()` function in `@dicebear/converter` used a regex-based approach to rewrite SVG `width`/`height` attributes, capping them at 2048px to prevent denial of service. This size capping could be bypassed by crafting SVG input that causes the regex to match a non-functional occurrence of `<svg` before the actual SVG root element. When the SVG is subsequently rendered via `@resvg/resvg-js` on the Node.js code path, it renders at the attacker-specified dimensions, potentially causing out-of-memory crashes. In version 9.4.2, the regex-based approach has been replaced with XML-aware processing using `fast-xml-parser` to correctly identify and modify the SVG root element's attributes. Additionally, a `fitTo` constraint has been added to the `renderAsync` call as defense-in-depth, ensuring the rendered output is always bounded regardless of SVG content. | |||||
| CVE-2026-33347 | 1 Thephpleague | 1 Commonmark | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.1 MEDIUM |
| league/commonmark is a PHP Markdown parser. From version 2.3.0 to before version 2.8.2, the DomainFilteringAdapter in the Embed extension is vulnerable to an allowlist bypass due to a missing hostname boundary assertion in the domain-matching regex. An attacker-controlled domain like youtube.com.evil passes the allowlist check when youtube.com is an allowed domain. This issue has been patched in version 2.8.2. | |||||
| CVE-2026-27895 | 1 Ldap-account-manager | 1 Ldap Account Manager | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.3 MEDIUM |
| LDAP Account Manager (LAM) is a webfrontend for managing entries (e.g. users, groups, DHCP settings) stored in an LDAP directory. Prior to version 9.5, the PDF export component does not correctly validate uploaded file extensions. This way any file type (including .php files) can be uploaded. With GHSA-w7xq-vjr3-p9cf, an attacker can achieve remote code execution as the web server user. Version 9.5 fixes the issue. Although upgrading is recommended, a workaround would be to make /var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config read-only for the web-server user. | |||||
