| OpenMetadata is a unified metadata platform. Versions 1.5.0 through 1.11.3 are vulnerable to remote code execution via Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) in FreeMarker email templates. An attacker must have administrative privileges to exploit the vulnerability. Version 1.11.4 contains a patch. | |||||
| CVE-2026-75574 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| The Grav Email plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-email) before 4.2.2 renders page-editor-controlled Email action parameters as unsandboxed Twig templates. An authenticated remote user with only api.access and api.pages.write permissions can place a Twig expression in header.form.process.email.body, publish the page, and submit the form to execute an arbitrary operating-system command as the account running PHP. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71880 | 2026-08-31 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Interpretation of untrusted input in template engine in GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit versions before 3.3.4 allows remote authenticated attackers to access server-side files and state via template injection | |||||
| CVE-2026-48323 | 3 Adobe, Linux, Microsoft | 3 Campaign, Linux Kernel, Windows | 2026-08-28 | N/A | 10.0 CRITICAL |
| Adobe Campaign Classic (ACC) is affected by an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed. | |||||
| CVE-2026-59989 | 2026-08-27 | N/A | N/A | ||
| Phalcon is a high-performance, full-stack PHP framework. In 5.15.0 and earlier, resolveFilter in phalcon/Mvc/View/Engine/Volt/Compiler.zep builds the join filter by inserting the raw separator and array token values into generated PHP without passing them through expression(). An attacker who can influence Volt template source can place quote-breaking content in a join argument, inject PHP into the compiled cache file, and execute it when Phalcon\Mvc\View\Engine\Volt::render() loads the template. This issue is fixed in version 5.16.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77129 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | N/A | ||
| The extension passes an editor-configurable email subject string directly into a Fluid template source without restriction. A backend user with edit access to the event plugin or Backend Module can supply Fluid ViewHelper syntax in this field to disclose sensitive data or execute TypoScript content objects. Exploitation of this issue requires an authenticated backend account with edit access to the event registration plugin or backend module. | |||||
| CVE-2026-77136 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | N/A | ||
| The extension passes the raw value of a form field configured as "This field contains the name of the sender" directly into a Fluid View as template source, without any sanitization, and renders it. An anonymous, unauthenticated user can submit Fluid template syntax in that field to execute arbitrary Fluid ViewHelpers leading to disclosure of server configuration, environment variables and application source, and potentially remote code execution. Exploitation requires only that a form field is configured as the sender_name field, a common and default-adjacent Powermail configuration. No authentication or user interaction beyond a normal form submission is required. This vulnerability is reported to be actively exploited in the wild. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71239 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH | ||
| DjangoCRM's massmail module renders user-controlled EmlMessage fields (subject, content) through Django's Template constructor with no sanitization, in at least three locations: message_previews.py builds an f-string embedding message.subject/message.content directly into a Template call; email_creators.py passes eml_message.subject directly as a template string to Template; and helpers.py contains the same f-string interpolation pattern. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71291 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Bolt CMS renders content field values through Twig's full application-level Environment with no SandboxExtension registered anywhere in the codebase. In src/Entity/Field.php, getTwigValue calls shouldBeRenderedAsTwig, which gates rendering only on the field definition's allow_twig flag and a regex checking for , , or ; when true, the raw field value is compiled and rendered via with no sandboxing. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71286 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | 6.1 MEDIUM | ||
| The render-template component of ember-dynamic-render-template (addon/components/render-template.js) passes its property directly into Ember/Glimmer's compileTemplate (from @ember/template-compilation) with no sanitization, allow-listing, or validation of the input. | |||||
| CVE-2026-73330 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | 6.6 MEDIUM | ||
| CamaleonCMS 2.9.1 contains a server-side template injection vulnerability that allows authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary commands by embedding ERB tags in the email parameter of the test_email settings action, which are evaluated when an SMTP rejection reflects the recipient address back in the exception message rendered as an inline ERB template. Attackers can submit a crafted email parameter containing ERB expressions through the admin settings test_email endpoint, causing the Rails inline template renderer to evaluate attacker-controlled Ruby code and achieve arbitrary command execution as the Rails process user. | |||||
| CVE-2026-13051 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | 9.1 CRITICAL | ||
| Form::Processor::Field::HtmlArea versions from 0.06 through 1.162360 for Perl allow attacker selected method dispatch and resource exhaustion via an HTML::Tidy diagnostic that validate passes to add_error as a Locale::Maketext template. validate runs HTML::Tidy over the submitted markup and passes each resulting message to add_error as its first argument, which add_error hands to the language handle as the Locale::Maketext message key. The default handle's lexicon sets `_AUTO`, so a message that is not a lexicon entry is compiled as a bracket notation template instead of being looked up. Tidy diagnostics quote the offending attribute name or value, so a bracket group in the submitted markup reaches the template position, where the first token of the group names a method called on the language handle and the remaining tokens are its arguments. A group such as `[0]` makes the compile croak, and neither the field nor the handle catches it, so the exception leaves validate. `[sprintf,%2000000000d,7]` reaches CORE::sprintf with an attacker chosen field width. One submission of crafted markup to an HtmlArea field throws an unhandled exception out of form validation or allocates an arbitrary amount of memory, and an application whose language handle subclass defines side effecting public methods makes those callable with attacker chosen arguments. The other field types pass fixed templates with the submitted value in an argument slot, where it stays inert, and are unaffected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-71502 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | N/A | ||
| CTI-Transmute contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability caused by insufficient neutralization of Vue template expression delimiters in server-rendered user-controlled data. An unauthenticated attacker can create a public conversion whose name or description contains a malicious Vue expression using the application's configured [[ ... ]] delimiters. User profile names may provide an additional injection vector. Although Jinja HTML escaping is applied, the resulting value is subsequently included in a DOM region compiled by Vue. Vue interprets the attacker-controlled value as a template expression rather than ordinary text. By accessing the JavaScript Function constructor from within the expression, an attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the security context of the CTI-Transmute origin. The application's nonce-based Content Security Policy does not prevent exploitation because the Vue runtime compiler requires the unsafe-eval policy exception. The malicious payload is stored by the application and executed whenever another user opens an affected page, such as the public conversion detail page. The victim may be a normal user or an administrator. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to: * Access data available to the victim through the application. * Extract API keys, tokens, or other sensitive information exposed to the page. * Perform authenticated actions using the victim's session. * Modify conversions or other application data. * Escalate the impact by targeting an administrator. A demonstrated payload can use [].constructor.constructor(...) to obtain the JavaScript Function constructor and execute arbitrary code. The regression tests also show that a short first-stage payload could retrieve an uncapped conversion description and evaluate a larger second-stage payload. The patch addresses the vulnerability by registering a global Jinja finalize hook that inserts a zero-width Unicode word joiner inside every Vue delimiter found in server-rendered values. This prevents Vue from recognizing the values as template expressions while preserving their visible representation. | |||||
| CVE-2026-5336 | 2026-08-26 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM | ||
| The DataPress (Dataverse Integration) WordPress plugin before 2.91 does not properly restrict access to its template rendering feature and exposes the viewing user's data to it, allowing users with a role as low as Contributor to disclose sensitive information, such as the session cookies of higher privileged users who view the affected content. | |||||

Upgrading to version 0.9.8-hotfix1 and 0.9.8 will fix this issue. The identifier of the patch is deeac6a4a7aba86ce99c4bda37142e41d209293e. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. | |||||
| CVE-2026-40478 | 1 Thymeleaf | 1 Thymeleaf | 2026-08-18 | N/A | 9.0 CRITICAL |
| Thymeleaf is a server-side Java template engine for web and standalone environments. Versions 3.1.3.RELEASE and prior contain a security bypass vulnerability in the the expression execution mechanisms. Although the library provides mechanisms to prevent expression injection, it fails to properly neutralize specific syntax patterns that allow for the execution of unauthorized expressions. If an application developer passes unvalidated user input directly to the template engine, an unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass the library's protections to achieve Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI). This issue has ben fixed in version 3.1.4.RELEASE. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46439 | 2026-08-14 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH | ||
| compliance-trestle is a tooling platform for managing compliance as code. Versions prior to 3.12.2 and 4.0.3 have a Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability exists in the `trestle author jinja` command. The command recursively evaluates rendered templates, allowing an attacker to achieve arbitrary command execution with privileges of the running process by injecting malicious payloads into data fields (such as SSP documents or Lookup Tables). The vulnerability does not require attacker control of the template itself. Only attacker-controlled input data rendered into a trusted template is required. This distinction is critical: the template author may only intend to render plain text (e.g., `Title: {{ ssp.metadata.title }}`), but because of the recursive parsing, the data field itself becomes executable. The vulnerability is caused by recursive re-compilation and re-rendering of already-rendered output. Versions 3.12.3 and 4.0.3 patch the issue. | |||||
