CVE-2026-35217 2026-07-23 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
NanoMQ contains a protocol-semantics flaw in its MQTT v5 `SUBSCRIBE` handling: if a subscription entry is missing the final 1-byte `Subscription Options` field, the broker may still accept the malformed packet and install the subscription into internal broker state. Under a specific packet-length construction, the same parser flaw also causes a 1-byte out-of-bounds read that crosses the real heap allocation boundary and is detected by ASAN as a `heap-buffer-overflow`. If the consumed byte happens to look acceptable, NanoMQ may continue and append the malformed subscription entry into its internal `subinfol` state. In that case, a `SUBSCRIBE` packet that should be rejected by MQTT rules is instead treated as a successful subscription. Whether ASAN reports the bug does not depend on MQTT's logical `remain` boundary; it depends on whether the read crosses the real heap allocation boundary of the underlying message buffer. In other words, these are not two unrelated issues. They are two manifestations of the same parsing defect: by default, it appears as a semantic vulnerability, and under suitable input conditions, it also becomes a verifiable out-of-bounds read vulnerability.
CVE-2026-9499 2026-07-23 N/A N/A
An out-of-bounds read (buffer over-read) vulnerability exists in QTextCodec::codecForName() in Qt. When the function is called with a QByteArray that is not NUL-terminated (for example, one created with QByteArray::fromRawData()), the codec-name matching routine reads past the end of the supplied buffer. In most cases this results in an incorrect text codec being selected; in the worst case, if the over-read reaches unmapped memory, the process crashes (denial of service). The over-read is bounded by the length of the longest codec-name candidate, and the out-of-bounds bytes are only compared internally against Qt's fixed list of codec names, so no data is disclosed to an attacker. Applications that do not pass non-NUL-terminated QByteArrays to QTextCodec::codecForName() are not exposed. The affected code resides in the Qt5Compat module from Qt 6.0.0 onward, and in Qt Core (qtbase) in Qt 4.x and Qt 5.x.

CVE-2026-59147 2026-07-23 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Data::DisjointSet::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl allow out-of-bounds reads and writes via an unvalidated parent index in dsu_find. The attach-time validator dsu_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the array contents it then trusts. dsu_find walks and path-compresses parent[x] with x a raw file-stored index never bounded against the node count, so both the read and the compression write-back land out of bounds. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning the parent array, so the next find or union both reads and writes through an out-of-bounds parent index, corrupting memory or crashing the process.
CVE-2026-59143 2026-07-23 N/A 6.3 MEDIUM
Data::RoaringBitmap::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via an unvalidated container offset and cardinality in rb_contains_locked. The attach-time validator rb_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the bucket contents it then trusts. rb_contains_locked forms a container pointer as pool + container_off * 8192 from a raw file-stored offset and then searches over a file-stored cardinality, neither bounded against the container pool capacity or the fixed 8192-byte slot size. A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning a bucket, so the next membership query dereferences a file-controlled wild pointer and scans a file-controlled count, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process.
CVE-2026-9504 2026-07-23 1.7 LOW 3.3 LOW
A weakness has been identified in GNU LibreDWG up to 0.14. Affected is the function bit_convert_TU of the file programs/dwggrep.c of the component Dwggrep Utility. This manipulation causes out-of-bounds read. The attack needs to be launched locally. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Patch name: be996bf2178a40e98720f18c2414815d244413db. Applying a patch is the recommended action to fix this issue.
CVE-2026-41071 1 Struktur 1 Libheif 2026-07-23 N/A 8.1 HIGH
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In versions 1.21.2 and prior, a crafted HEIF sequence file where the saiz box declares more samples than actually exist in the track's chunk table causes a heap-buffer-overflow (out-of-bounds read) in the SampleAuxInfoReader constructor. The SampleAuxInfoReader constructor iterates over saiz->get_num_samples() samples but doesn't validate that this count is consistent with the number of chunks in the chunks vector. When saiz declares more samples than the chunks cover, the loop increments current_chunk past chunks.size(), causing an out-of-bounds read on the chunks vector. The vulnerability is triggered during file parsing (heif_context_read_from_file) without any additional user interaction. Any application using libheif to open untrusted HEIF files is affected. This issue has been fixed in version 1.22.0.
CVE-2026-9530 2026-07-23 1.7 LOW 3.3 LOW
A weakness has been identified in GNU LibreDWG up to 0.14. The impacted element is the function read_2004_compressed_section of the file src/decode.c of the component Dwgbmp Utility. Executing a manipulation can lead to out-of-bounds read. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. This patch is called 8f03865f37f5d4ffd616fef802acc980be54d300. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue.
CVE-2026-41069 1 Struktur 1 Libheif 2026-07-23 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In versions 1.21.2 and prior, a malformed HEIF sequence file can trigger an out-of-bounds read in core sequence parsing logic, causing DoS. A malformed file can have stco.entry_count == 0 (creating no chunks) while still passing validation because saio.entry_count == 0 matches, but with saiz.sample_count > 0 the SampleAuxInfoReader constructor still enters its loop. This leads to an out-of-bounds dereference on the empty chunks[0] in chunked mode.
CVE-2026-45359 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-07-23 N/A 5.7 MEDIUM
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-48 and 7.1.2-22.
CVE-2026-45358 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-07-23 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-47 and 7.1.2-22, an off by one in the meta encoder could result in an out of bounds read of a single byte in the meta encoder. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-47 and 7.1.2-22.
CVE-2026-45624 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-07-23 N/A 5.1 MEDIUM
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-47 and 7.1.2-22, when performing a polynomial distortion an out of bounds over-read of 24 bytes can occur when specifying specific arguments. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-47 and 7.1.2-22.
CVE-2026-45329 1 Espressif 1 Esp-idf 2026-07-23 N/A 7.1 HIGH
ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.5.4 and 6.0, several ESP-TEE secure-service wrappers in esp_secure_services.c and esp_secure_services_iram.c validated only some of the caller-supplied pointer arguments, leaving input pointer arguments unchecked. Because the underlying TEE-protected hardware peripherals (e.g., ECC, SHA, SPI) run in RISC-V machine mode (M-mode) with full address-space access, a caller could supply pointers into TEE-exclusive memory as inputs, causing the peripheral to read TEE memory and return results derived from it to the REE. Depending on the wrapper, the result contains raw bytes from TEE memory, a computed function of TEE memory recoverable through repeated calls, or a single bit per call that forms an oracle for incremental disclosure of TEE-resident sensitive data. This issue has been patched in versions 5.5.5 and 6.0.1.
CVE-2026-42326 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-07-23 N/A 5.1 MEDIUM
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to versions 6.9.13-47 and 7.1.2-22, when writing an IPTC output file a malicious input file could cause an out of bounds read of a single byte. This issue has been patched in versions 6.9.13-47 and 7.1.2-22.
CVE-2026-45160 1 Espressif 1 Esp-idf 2026-07-23 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. In versions 5.2.7, 5.3.5, 5.4.4, 5.5.4, and 6.0.1, an out-of-bounds read flaw exists in the DHCP server option parser (parse_options() in components/lwip/apps/dhcpserver/dhcpserver.c) shipped with ESP-IDF's lwIP component. The parser walks the BOOTP/DHCP options field without validating that each option's length byte and declared payload length stay within the received packet buffer. A crafted DHCP request can cause the parser to read past the end of the options buffer into adjacent heap memory. The issue affects the DHCP server used by ESP-IDF's SoftAP and any configuration where the device runs as a DHCP server on a local network. This issue has been patched in versions 5.2.8, 5.3.6, 5.4.5, 5.5.5, and 6.0.2.
