CVE-2026-62291 2026-09-09 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted image sequence with a 2x2 primary plane and a 256x256 auxiliary alpha plane can cause attacker-controlled heap corruption during a normal decode and re-encode workflow. Track_Visual::decode_next_image_sample() calls transfer_channel_from_image_as() without checking that the auxiliary alpha dimensions match the main frame. The resulting inconsistent image reaches heif_track_decode_next_image() and then heif_context_encode_image(). In unc_encoder::encode(), unc_encoder_component_interleave::encode_tile() sizes its buffer with compute_tile_data_size_bytes() using the primary dimensions but copies each component using its actual plane dimensions. The oversized alpha plane is therefore copied beyond the allocation, causing an out-of-bounds write; the inverse size mismatch can also produce an out-of-bounds read. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1.
CVE-2026-62292 2026-09-09 N/A N/A
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. From 1.19.0 until 1.23.1, a crafted uncompressed HEIF image using generic zlib unci full-item compression can crash an application that decodes an advertised tile with heif_image_handle_decode_image_tile(). In libheif/codecs/uncompressed/unc_decoder.cc, unc_decoder::fetch_tile_data() computes a large tile offset and unc_decoder::get_compressed_image_data_uncompressed() validates it with range_start_offset plus range_size. For the last advertised tile (4095, 4095), the addition can wrap to zero, bypass the bounds check, and pass an invalid source pointer and a one-terabyte length to memcpy. The observed result is an out-of-bounds read and process crash; opening the file alone does not trigger the issue because tile decoding is required. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1.
CVE-2026-63409 2026-09-09 N/A 8.2 HIGH
Deskflow is a keyboard and mouse sharing app. From 1.17.0 until continuous build 1.26.0.296, a malicious Deskflow server can send an odd-length DSOP vector to ServerProxy::setOptions() in src/lib/client/ServerProxy.cpp, causing the missing value after the final option key to be read beyond the vector during the PacketStreamFilter::filterEvent to ServerProxy::handleData() to ServerProxy::parseHandshakeMessage() call chain and crash the connected client. This issue is fixed in continuous build 1.26.0.296.
CVE-2026-65832 2026-09-09 N/A 8.2 HIGH
Deskflow is a keyboard and mouse sharing app. Prior to continuous build 1.26.0.299, a remote unauthenticated Deskflow server can send kMsgDSetOptions (DSOP) values to ServerProxy::setOptions() in src/lib/client/ServerProxy.cpp so that the value following a modifier option poisons m_modifierTranslationTable, after which ServerProxy::translateKey() or ServerProxy::translateModifierMask() indexes the seven-row s_translationTable or s_masks arrays out of bounds, disclosing four bytes at an attacker-selected relative offset or crashing the connected client; an odd option count also causes an out-of-bounds OptionsList read. This issue is fixed in continuous build 1.26.0.299.
CVE-2026-59983 2026-09-09 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. OpenEXR versions before 3.2.11, 3.3.0 through 3.3.12, and 3.4.0 through 3.4.13 are vulnerable on ILP32 builds to an out-of-bounds read. The vulnerability is reached when a crafted uncompressed deep-tile EXR causes the sample-count table size calculation in OpenEXRCore decoding.c to wrap before unpack_sample_table() iterates over the full attacker-controlled tile dimensions, allowing denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.11, 3.3.13, and 3.4.14.
CVE-2026-61555 2026-09-09 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. OpenEXR versions before 3.2.11, 3.3.0 through 3.3.12, and 3.4.0 through 3.4.13 are vulnerable to crashing. This occurs when Imf::GetChannelsInMultiPartFile() processes a crafted EXR with an empty multiView header attribute and Imf::viewFromChannelName() indexes the empty vector for a dotless channel name. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.11, 3.3.13, and 3.4.14.
CVE-2026-59189 2026-09-09 N/A 7.1 HIGH
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. In OpenEXRUtil versions 3.3.0 through 3.3.12 and 3.4.0 through 3.4.12, the documented TypedDeepImageChannel<T>::row() API can return an out-of-bounds pointer when a deep image has a non-zero dataWindow origin, resulting in a heap out-of-bounds read and crash, with potential information disclosure under a controlled heap layout. The flaw arises because ImfDeepImageChannel uses two conflicting coordinate models: at(x, y) uses absolute coordinates (with _base offset by dataWindow.min), while row(r) is documented as 0-based logical access. For a non-zero dataWindow.min, row(0) therefore points outside the _sampleListPointers allocation instead of at the first logical row. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.13 and 3.4.13.
CVE-2026-65979 2026-09-09 N/A N/A
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. From version 3.4.0 through 3.4.12, the HTJ2K decoder parses a header-length field (PLEN) from a chunk's compressed data but never checks that this value fits within the available buffer before using it. When decoding, it advances the codestream pointer by the attacker-supplied header size and passes the resulting offset and remaining length to the OpenJPH memory-input path, so a crafted value pushes the pointer past the end of the buffer and causes an out-of-bounds read. Because this field comes straight from attacker-controlled EXR chunk data, the flaw is reachable during normal decoding of an untrusted file. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.13.
CVE-2026-59985 2026-09-09 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image format, widely used in the motion picture industry. OpenEXR versions 3.2.0 through 3.2.10, 3.3.0 through 3.3.12, and 3.4.0 through 3.4.13 are vulnerable on ILP32 builds to a heap out-of-bounds read. The issue occurs when a crafted RLE-compressed EXR causes the 64-bit unpacked size to truncate before allocation in OpenEXRCore decoding.c and unpack_32bit() reads beyond the resulting buffer, allowing denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.11, 3.3.13, and 3.4.14.
CVE-2026-59981 2026-09-09 N/A 7.1 HIGH
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image file format, widely used in the motion picture industry. In versions through 3.2.10, 3.3.0 through 3.3.12, and 3.4.0 through 3.4.13, the OpenEXRUtil library returns an out-of-bounds pointer from the SampleCountChannel::row() API when a deep image has a non-zero dataWindow origin. The row() accessor is documented as 0-based and computes its address from an internal base that is offset for absolute pixel coordinates, so the two coordinate models conflict whenever dataWindow.min is non-zero. For a deep image whose data window has a large negative vertical origin, row(0) points far outside the allocated sample-count buffer. An application that opens an attacker-controlled deep EXR file and accesses sample counts through row() performs an out-of-bounds read, which can crash the process or, under a controlled heap layout, return adjacent heap memory as sample-count values. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.11, 3.3.13, and 3.4.14.
CVE-2026-65819 2026-09-09 N/A 7.5 HIGH
gopacket provides packet processing capabilities for Go. Through version 1.7.0, multiple layer decoders use attacker-controlled lengths, counts, or offsets before validating them against packet buffers, allowing a crafted packet decoded through DecodingLayerParser or DecodeFromBytes to trigger an unrecovered panic and remotely deny service. A patch commit is available at 210f25f.
CVE-2026-62959 2026-09-09 N/A N/A
Coturn is a free open source implementation of TURN and STUN Server. From 4.5.2 through 4.14.0, when Coturn is started with --acme-redirect <URL> and exposes a plaintext-TCP listener, an unauthenticated remote client can send a single ordinary HTTP GET request and receive a 301 response whose Location header contains up to ~870 bytes of adjacent process heap memory. The leaked region is a recycled network receive buffer that is reused without being zeroed, so on a busy server it can contain data from other clients' requests (TURN credentials, OAuth tokens, relayed payloads). Root cause is a signed→unsigned conversion. This issue is fixed in version 4.15.0.
CVE-2026-73067 2026-09-09 N/A N/A
Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. Prior to 5.5.3, a crafted .traineddata model loaded through TessBaseAPI::Init can cause SquishedDawg::read_squished_dawg in src/dict/dawg.cpp to accept an unterminated forward-edge run, after which SquishedDawg::Load calls num_forward_edges(0) and last_edge in src/dict/dawg.h reads beyond edges_, causing a heap out-of-bounds read and process crash before image processing. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.3.
CVE-2026-73075 2026-09-09 N/A N/A
Vim is an open source, command line text editor. From 9.2.0469 until 9.2.0843, popup_mark_opacity_zindex() in src/popupwin.c can use a negative w_winrow for a text-property-anchored popup with clipwindow and opacity, indexing before the screen array instead of accounting for w_popup_topoff and causing an out-of-bounds read and conditional write. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0843.

CVE-2026-83989 1 Microsoft 13 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 10 more 2026-09-09 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Out-of-bounds read in Windows Services for NFS ONCRPC XDR Driver allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network.
CVE-2026-87602 2 Google, Microsoft 2 Chrome, Windows 2026-09-09 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM
Out of bounds read in ANGLE in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to potentially read memory outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
CVE-2026-22590 2026-09-09 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard of the OMG (Object Management Group). Versions prior to 2.6.12, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.2 have a remotely triggerable Out-of-Bounds Read while processing RTPS `DATA_FRAG` submessages. An attacker can craft a `DATA_FRAG` with a large `sampleSize` but a small actual payload, and set `fragmentsInSubmessage` such that the receiver treats the packet as the LAST fragment**. In this LAST-fragment path, Fast-DDS computes `incoming_length` based on `sampleSize` and calls `memcpy()` without validating `incoming_data.length >= incoming_length`. As a result, `CacheChange_t::add_fragments()` reads past the received UDP datagram buffer and into adjacent heap memory, copying those bytes into the reassembly buffer. In a Discovery Server deployment, the resulting `CacheChange_t` can be relayed to other participants, meaning that a newly joining participant may receive leaked heap memory (e.g., pointer values that could aid ASLR bypass). Versions 2.6.12, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.2 fix the issue.
CVE-2026-87824 2026-09-09 N/A 7.5 HIGH
zstd-jni before 1.5.7-14 fails to validate the samples buffer capacity in Zstd.trainFromBufferDirect, allowing attackers to read past buffer boundaries by supplying oversized per-sample lengths. Attackers can trigger out-of-bounds memory access by providing crafted sample length arrays that cause the native implementation to walk past the buffer allocation, resulting in JVM termination.
CVE-2026-77503 1 Microsoft 13 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 10 more 2026-09-09 N/A 8.4 HIGH
Out-of-bounds read in Windows NTFS allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
