| CVE-2026-14846 | 2026-07-13 | N/A | N/A | ||
| In version 8.2.1 of PrestaShop, there is a vulnerability relating to the incorrect sanitisation of elements, caused by inadequate validation of the ‘Alias’ parameter in the ‘Update your address’ function. This flaw allows an attacker to inject malicious expressions that are executed when the information is exported using the ‘Get my data in CSV’ tool. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could facilitate unauthorised access to the victim’s personal data. | |||||
| CVE-2019-14749 | 1 Enhancesoft | 1 Osticket | 2026-07-10 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in osTicket before 1.10.7 and 1.12.x before 1.12.1. CSV (aka Formula) injection exists in the export spreadsheets functionality. These spreadsheets are generated dynamically from unvalidated or unfiltered user input in the Name and Internal Notes fields in the Users tab, and the Issue Summary field in the tickets tab. This allows other agents to download data in a .csv file format or .xls file format. This is used as input for spreadsheet applications such as Excel and OpenOffice Calc, resulting in a situation where cells in the spreadsheets can contain input from an untrusted source. As a result, the end user who is accessing the exported spreadsheet can be affected. | |||||
| CVE-2026-50179 | 2026-07-09 | N/A | 4.2 MEDIUM | ||
| Actual is a local-first personal finance tool. Prior to 26.6.0, exportToCSV and exportQueryToCSV in packages/loot-core/src/server/transactions/export/export-to-csv.ts pass user-controlled Payee, Notes, Account, and Category strings to csv-stringify with no cast callback and no formula-prefix neutralization. Strings that begin with equals sign, plus, minus, at sign, tab, or carriage return survive verbatim into the exported CSV, and when a recipient opens the file in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets, the strings are interpreted as formulas, enabling transaction data exfiltration and attacker-chosen spreadsheet display values. This issue is fixed in version 26.6.0. | |||||
| CVE-2023-31867 | 1 Sage | 1 X3 | 2026-07-09 | N/A | 7.2 HIGH |
| Sage X3 version 12.14.0.50-0 is vulnerable to CSV Injection. | |||||
| CVE-2020-28861 | 1 Openasset | 1 Digital Asset Management | 2026-07-09 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| OpenAsset Digital Asset Management (DAM) 12.0.19 and earlier failed to implement access controls on /Stream/ProjectsCSV endpoint, allowing unauthenticated attackers to gain access to potentially sensitive project information stored by the application. | |||||
| CVE-2026-46672 | 2026-07-08 | N/A | 4.6 MEDIUM | ||
| Actual is a local-first personal finance app. Prior to 26.6.0, @actual-app/cli ships a hand-rolled CSV serializer in packages/cli/src/output.ts used whenever the global --format csv option is passed, whose escapeCsv helper only handles RFC 4180 delimiter, quote, and newline escaping and does not neutralize standard CSV formula-injection prefixes. Any CLI command that streams an object array containing user-controlled strings, including transactions list, accounts list, payees list, categories list, tags list, category-groups list, rules list, schedules list, and query, can emit cells that auto-evaluate when the resulting CSV is opened in Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets, enabling data exfiltration and arbitrary formula execution. This issue is fixed in version 26.6.0. | |||||
| CVE-2025-50572 | 2026-07-05 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Archer 6.11.00204.10014 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted system inputs that would be exported into the CSV and be executed after the user opened the file with compatible applications. NOTE: the Supplier does not accept this as a valid vulnerability report against their product. | |||||
| CVE-2026-9673 | 2026-07-03 | N/A | 6.8 MEDIUM | ||
| Versions of the package json-2-csv from 3.15.0 and before 5.5.11 are vulnerable to CSV Injection via the preventCsvInjection option which can be bypassed. An attacker can inject formulas into CSV files, which execute when the files are opened in spreadsheet applications. | |||||
| CVE-2026-47693 | 2026-06-25 | N/A | 6.9 MEDIUM | ||
| Poweradmin is a web-based DNS administration tool for PowerDNS server. Versions prior to 4.2.4 and 4.3.3 are vulnerable to CSV Injection (Formula Injection) in its log export functionality. User-controlled data — specifically the username field — is written to exported CSV files without sanitizing formula trigger characters (=, +, -, @). When an administrator exports activity logs and opens the resulting CSV in a spreadsheet application (Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice Calc, Google Sheets), any formula stored in a username is executed by the application. This can be used for phishing attacks against administrators or data exfiltration. Versions 4.2.4 and 4.3.3 patch the issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-5242 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Improper neutralization of formula elements in a CSV file vulnerability in MIA Technology Inc. Pizzy Library allows Code Injection. This issue affects Pizzy Library: from 1.0.0.26250 before 1.3.9.26250. | |||||
| CVE-2026-42267 | 1 Kimai | 1 Kimai | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.7 MEDIUM |
| Kimai is an open-source time tracking application. From version 2.27.0 to before version 2.54.0, any ROLE_USER can create a tag with a formula string as its name (e.g. =SUM(54+51)) via POST /api/tags and assign it to a timesheet. When an admin exports timesheets to XLSX, ArrayFormatter.formatValue() joins tag names with implode() and returns the result unchanged. OpenSpout promotes any =-prefixed string to a FormulaCell, writing <f>SUM(54+51)</f> into the XLSX archive. Excel evaluates the formula when the file is opened. This issue has been patched in version 2.54.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-39424 | 1 Maxkb | 1 Maxkb | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| MaxKB is an open-source AI assistant for enterprise. In versions 2.7.1 and below, the chat export feature is vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Formula Elements in a CSV File. When an administrator exports the application chat history to an Excel file (.xlsx) via the /admin/api/workspace/{workspace_id}/application/{application_id}/chat/export endpoint, strings starting with formula characters are written directly without proper sanitization. Opening this file in spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel can lead to Arbitrary Code Execution (RCE) on the administrator's workstation via Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE). The issue is a variant of CVE-2025-4546, which fixed the exact same pattern in apps/dataset/serializers/document_serializers.py but missed the application chat export sink. This issue has been fixed in version 2.8.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-35157 | 1 Dell | 2 Elastic Cloud Storage, Objectscale | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 5.8 MEDIUM |
| Dell ECS versions 3.8.1.0 through 3.8.1.7 and Dell ObjectScale versions prior to 4.3.0.0, contains an improper neutralization of formula elements in a CSV File vulnerability in the UI. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to remote execution. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31049 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL | ||
| An issue in Hostbill v.2025-11-24 and 2025-12-01 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code and escalate privileges via the CSV registration field | |||||
| CVE-2026-27644 | 1 Traccar | 1 Traccar | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| Traccar is an open source GPS tracking system. In versions between 6.11.1 and 6.13.0, the CSV export functionality writes position data, including user-controlled device and computed attributes, to CSV output without proper escaping. An attacker can inject spreadsheet formulas through exported fields. When a manager or administrator opens the exported CSV file in spreadsheet software, this can cause formula execution and lead to command execution or data exfiltration. This has been patched in version 6.13.0. | |||||
| CVE-2026-24447 | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM | ||
| If a malformed data is input to the affected product, a CSV file downloaded from the affected product may contain such malformed data. When a victim user download and open such a CSV file, the embedded code may be executed in the user's environment. Note that Movable Type 7 series and 8.4 series, which are End-of-Life (EOL), are affected by the vulnerability as well. | |||||
| CVE-2026-23873 | 1 Hustoj | 1 Hustoj | 2026-06-17 | N/A | 9.0 CRITICAL |
| hustoj is an open source online judge based on PHP/C++/MySQL/Linux for ACM/ICPC and NOIP training. All versions are vulnerable to CSV Injection (Formula Injection) through the contest rank export functionality (contestrank.xls.php and admin/ranklist_export.php). The application fails to sanitize user-supplied input (specifically the "Nickname" field) before exporting it to an .xls file (which renders as an HTML table but is opened by Excel). If a malicious user sets their nickname to an Excel formula when an administrator exports and opens the rank list in Microsoft Excel, the formula will be executed. This can lead to arbitrary command execution (RCE) on the administrator's machine or data exfiltration. A fix was not available at the time of publication. | |||||
