CVE-2025-64524 1 Openprinting 1 Cups-filters 2026-10-18 N/A 3.3 LOW
cups-filters contains backends, filters, and other software required to get the cups printing service working on operating systems other than macos. In versions 2.0.1 and prior, a heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability in the rastertopclx filter causes the program to crash with a segmentation fault when processing maliciously crafted input data. This issue can be exploited to trigger memory corruption, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution. This issue has been patched via commit 956283c.
CVE-2026-18271 2026-10-18 N/A 6.8 MEDIUM
Kenwood DNR1007XR vCardParser Heap-based Buffer Overflow Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows physically present attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Kenwood DNR1007XR devices. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the vCardParser class. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-28974.
CVE-2025-46373 1 Fortinet 1 Forticlient 2026-10-18 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability [CWE-122] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiClientWindows 7.4.0 through 7.4.3, FortiClientWindows 7.2.0 through 7.2.8 may allow an authenticated local IPSec user to execute arbitrary code or commands via "fortips_74.sys". The attacker would need to bypass the Windows heap integrity protections
CVE-2025-64693 2026-10-18 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
Security Point (Windows) of MaLion and MaLionCloud contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in processing Content-Length. Receiving a specially crafted request from a remote unauthenticated attacker could lead to arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM privilege.
CVE-2025-61838 1 Adobe 1 Format Plugins 2026-10-18 N/A 7.8 HIGH

CVE-2025-64330 1 Oisf 1 Suricata 2026-10-18 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Suricata is a network IDS, IPS and NSM engine developed by the OISF (Open Information Security Foundation) and the Suricata community. Prior to versions 7.0.13 and 8.0.2, a single byte read heap overflow when logging the verdict in eve.alert and eve.drop records can lead to crashes. This requires the per packet alert queue to be filled with alerts and then followed by a pass rule. This issue has been patched in versions 7.0.13 and 8.0.2. To reduce the likelihood of this issue occurring, the alert queue size a should be increased (packet-alert-max in suricata.yaml) if verdict is enabled.
CVE-2025-61837 1 Adobe 1 Format Plugins 2026-10-18 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Format Plugins versions 1.1.1 and earlier are affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
CVE-2026-18282 2026-10-18 N/A 8.0 HIGH
Sony XAV-9500ES AVRCP_Br_Response_Parser Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Sony XAV-9500ES devices. An attacker must first obtain the ability to pair a malicious Bluetooth device with the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of AVRCP packets. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the device. Was ZDI-CAN-28995.
CVE-2026-18281 2026-10-18 N/A 8.0 HIGH
Sony XAV-9500ES l2_reassemble_sdu Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Sony XAV-9500ES devices. An attacker must first obtain the ability to pair a malicious Bluetooth device with the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the handling of Bluetooth L2CAP packets. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the device. Was ZDI-CAN-29072.
CVE-2025-65018 1 Libpng 1 Libpng 2026-10-18 N/A 7.1 HIGH
LIBPNG is a reference library for use in applications that read, create, and manipulate PNG (Portable Network Graphics) raster image files. From version 1.6.0 to before 1.6.51, there is a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the libpng simplified API function png_image_finish_read when processing 16-bit interlaced PNGs with 8-bit output format. Attacker-crafted interlaced PNG files cause heap writes beyond allocated buffer bounds. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.51.
CVE-2026-55893 2026-10-18 N/A N/A
Capstone is a disassembly framework. In 6.0.0-Alpha9 and earlier, Capstone's arch/SH/SHDisassembler.c SH floating-point decoders such as opFADD, opFMUL, and opFSUB call set_reg() and set_reg_n() using sh_info.op.op_count without checking the fixed-size operands[] array. Repeated crafted instructions processed through cs_disasm_iter() or cs_disasm() with CS_ARCH_SH, CS_MODE_SH2A or CS_MODE_SH4A, CS_MODE_SHFPU, and CS_OPT_DETAIL can increment the operand count beyond the 176-byte sh_info allocation and perform a four-byte heap buffer overflow write. The corruption can crash the process and may enable code execution depending on heap layout. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.0-Alpha10.
CVE-2026-101950 2026-10-17 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
A Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in the SVR component of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an unauthenticated network attacker to cause a denial of service and potentially compromise confidentiality and integrity via malformed IPv4 packets reaching an interface configured for Secure Vector Routing.
