| CVE-2026-24881 | 2 Gnupg, Gpg4win | 2 Gnupg, Gpg4win | 2026-07-15 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| In GnuPG before 2.5.17, a crafted CMS (S/MIME) EnvelopedData message carrying an oversized wrapped session key can cause a stack-based buffer overflow in gpg-agent during PKDECRYPT--kem=CMS handling. This can easily be leveraged for denial of service; however, there is also memory corruption that could lead to remote code execution. | |||||
| CVE-2026-1761 | 2026-07-15 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH | ||
| A flaw was found in libsoup. This stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability occurs during the parsing of multipart HTTP responses due to an incorrect length calculation. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted multipart HTTP response, which can lead to memory corruption. This issue may result in application crashes or arbitrary code execution in applications that process untrusted server responses, and it does not require authentication or user interaction. | |||||
| CVE-2026-0719 | 2026-07-15 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH | ||
| A flaw was identified in the NTLM authentication handling of the libsoup HTTP library, used by GNOME and other applications for network communication. When processing extremely long passwords, an internal size calculation can overflow due to improper use of signed integers. This results in incorrect memory allocation on the stack, followed by unsafe memory copying. As a result, applications using libsoup may crash unexpectedly, creating a denial-of-service risk. | |||||
| CVE-2025-34468 | 1 Libcoap | 1 Libcoap | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| libcoap versions up to and including 4.3.5, prior to commit 30db3ea, contain a stack-based buffer overflow in address resolution when attacker-controlled hostname data is copied into a fixed 256-byte stack buffer without proper bounds checking. A remote attacker can trigger a crash and potentially achieve remote code execution depending on compiler options and runtime memory protections. Exploitation requires the proxy logic to be enabled (i.e., the proxy request handling code path in an application using libcoap). | |||||
| CVE-2026-56766 | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH | ||
| Hydra through 9.7, fixed in commit 9cc84c2, contains a stack buffer overflow in NTLM authentication across SMTP, POP3, IMAP, NNTP, HTTP, HTTP-Proxy, and HTTP-Proxy-Urlenum modules when processing malicious NTLM Type-2 challenges. A malicious server can send a crafted NTLM Type-2 challenge with an excessively long domain string, causing base64-encoded response data to overflow a 500-byte stack buffer by 18 to 330 bytes, enabling remote code execution on systems without stack protection. | |||||
| CVE-2026-23747 | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 3.7 LOW | ||
| Golioth Firmware SDK version 0.10.0 prior to 0.22.0, fixed in commit 48f521b, contain a stack-based buffer overflow in Payload Utils. The golioth_payload_as_int() and golioth_payload_as_float() helpers copy network-supplied payload data into fixed-size stack buffers using memcpy() with a length derived from payload_size. The only length checks are guarded by assert(); in release builds, the asserts are compiled out and memcpy() may copy an unbounded payload_size. Payloads larger than 12 bytes (int) or 32 bytes (float) can overflow the stack, resulting in a crash/denial of service. This is reachable via LightDB State on_payload with a malicious server or MITM. | |||||
| CVE-2026-22214 | 1 Riot-os | 1 Riot | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| RIOT OS versions up to and including 2026.01-devel-317 contain a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the ethos utility due to missing bounds checking when processing incoming serial frame data. The vulnerability occurs in the _handle_char() function, where incoming frame bytes are appended to a fixed-size stack buffer without verifying that the current write index remains within bounds. An attacker capable of sending crafted serial or TCP-framed input can cause the current write index to exceed the buffer size, resulting in a write past the end of the stack buffer. This condition leads to memory corruption and application crash. | |||||
| CVE-2026-22213 | 1 Riot-os | 1 Riot | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| RIOT OS versions up to and including 2026.01-devel-317 contain a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the tapslip6 utility. The vulnerability is caused by unsafe string concatenation in the devopen() function, which constructs a device path using unbounded user-controlled input. The utility uses strcpy() and strcat() to concatenate the fixed prefix '/dev/' with a user-supplied device name provided via the -s command-line option without bounds checking. This allows an attacker to supply an excessively long device name and overflow a fixed-size stack buffer, leading to process crashes and memory corruption. | |||||
| CVE-2026-22212 | 2026-07-14 | N/A | N/A | ||
| TinyOS versions up to and including 2.1.2 contain a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the mcp2200gpio utility. The vulnerability is caused by unsafe use of strcpy() and strcat() functions when constructing device paths during automatic device discovery. A local attacker can exploit this by creating specially crafted filenames under /dev/usb/, leading to stack memory corruption and application crashes. | |||||
| CVE-2026-22189 | 1 Cmu | 1 Panda3d | 2026-07-14 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| The egg-mkfont utility in Panda3D versions up to and including 1.10.16 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability due to use of an unbounded sprintf() call with attacker-controlled input. When constructing glyph filenames, egg-mkfont formats a user-supplied glyph pattern (-gp) into a fixed-size stack buffer without length validation. Supplying an excessively long glyph pattern string can overflow the stack buffer, resulting in memory corruption and a deterministic crash. Depending on build configuration and execution environment, the overflow may also be exploitable for arbitrary code execution. | |||||

| CVE-2026-55687 | 2026-07-10 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH | ||
| ESF-IDF is the Espressif Internet of Things (IOT) Development Framework. Versions 6.0.1, 5.5.4, 5.4.4, 5.3.5, and possibly prior contain an out-of-bounds write in jpeg_parse_dqt_marker() in components/esp_driver_jpeg/jpeg_parse_marker.c because the attacker-controlled DQT marker Tq nibble is used as an index into the qt_tbl array without validating that it is in the range 0..3, allowing malformed JPEG input to corrupt stack memory and reliably trigger a denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.2 and is expected to be fixed in versions 5.5.5, 5.4.5, and 5.3.6. | |||||
| CVE-2026-31267 | 2026-07-10 | N/A | 5.7 MEDIUM | ||
| Mercusys MW302R MW302R(EU)_V1_1.4.10 Build 231023 is vulnerable to Buffer Overflow in the administrative web interface.
